Yesterday my rank was 444 but today is 452 why?
Hi Molly
That happened to me just last week, it a reflection on your activity or lack of it. To keep moving in WA, you have to keep up a certain level of activity, else other people pass you.
Paul
You have very good tips here already, just keep on your great job and you will get your rank improving.
The others have said it - when you got ranked 444, that meant someone who WAS ranked 444 just either moved up or lost that rank and moved down.
It's a dynamic process, and as long as you stay active and helpful your rank will tend to rise.
it is a bit like rank on google, you have to keep active, and others sometimes might be more active
you just need to decide how important that rank really matters to you, as it is good psychology to get us to be active, but make that activity something that benefits you ;)

Your ranking has to do with how much you participate within the community, but it also depends on how busy others close to your ranking are as well. If someone else participates more than you, they can move ahead of you.
Your website is more important than your ranking here

I have a site but not sure how to manage it, how do I see it is doing well, how do I find the traffic ?
As always you have gotten good advice from the others here. I hope that it helps you with your problem.
Looks like the others have given you what you need. But you did the right thing by asking. One of the great things about WA is that no question you have should go unasked. That's what WA community is for, and is so good at - helping each other.
Google Analytics will show how your site is doing, how many visitors etc. It's in the training so maybe you haven't got to this bit yet.
As for managing your pages and posts Andy has given you a good link. You might also want to take a look at this training for setting up your menu. :)

Hi mgnaga, I am always adding pages to my sites. Each aspect of your site needs it's own page. Develop your content for each page around just 1-5 highly related keywords and create other pages for other groups of keywords. This also allows you to focus each page on a particular need of your niche market thus helping you get traffic to your site as a whole. I certainly recommend Loes comment below, one step at a time through the training modules and you will have a great website and traffic to it.
On pages you put info what is timeless and always relevant for your costumers, on posts you give attention to sub info releted to your pages and to promote stuff, the posts you enter with different keywords or keyword phrases, gives you the posibility for atracting more visitors, I don't know where you are in the course but in the getting started course level 4 and 5 are the lessons for Google Analistics and entering a site map. I advice you not to jump or skip lessons.
You need to follow the training and don't focus on stats, rankings etc at the moment. You site is really colourful, I love your theme. Keep at it. With training you will learn more and more. Good luck. Olive
Google Analytics is one way:
http://www.google.com/analytics/
and then in level 5 there is 'sitemap' creation etc.
But if it is a very new site do not think much about traffic, cannot have much in any case, give it a time. Better work on content, it will attract traffic.

I want to know how I write in a blog and how you write in training
You can write a training after you are a member for more then 3 months, in a training you can teach other people new things, at first you go to the question bar to see if the training you want to write allready exists. As it exist, you can use your affiliate link on it to spread that training, if it doesnot exists you can write your own training. It has to have 4 pages and a feature picture 150/150
The blogs you write here are public, anyone can read them on internet, you can write everything in your blogs you want to, but be aware of the fact it is public. You can let them be indexed on Google, here is the lesson for setting up G+ Online Entrepreneur Certification - Mastering Social Engagement (Level 4) and here the lesson for indexing your blog Online Entrepreneur Certification - Mastering Social Engagement (Level 4)
The advantage of the index at Google is, that when anybody reads your blog here, and decided to sign up, it will become your referral.
Yeah - what Astack said. And it is my understanding you have to have been a WA member for a minimum of 3 months before you can "create a training" - also, WA pays you for trainings that are accepted
Do you mean the difference between "create new training" and "write a blog" under the pen icon?
Blogging is writing your experiences and what you would like people to see in this community.
create training is for you to teach people what you have learned and what you think will benefit other people in this community.
Anthony
you go to your dashboard and click post and then add new, and each time you want to add another article to the same blog you add new posts, a page is like your about me or your privacy page(always there)
The training are directions on how to blog. To blog is to relate your feelings towards any subject.

What is a distinction between niche and domain?
Hi mgnaga. visit my website at http://leverageyourwebsite.com/getting-started to understand the difference between a niche and a domain. in simple terms a domain is a website or blog. a niche is a group of people having a common interest that you would like to address. in my website is very simple I trust that it can help to get you started. It also shows you the value chain of internet marketing
Good luck
Hello it would appear that you have gotten your answer very nicely from the folks below nothing I can add to it...good luck and good life.
Looks like you've gotten all sorts of great comments explaining the differences between Niche and Domains. Good stuff here in WA.
Something else that may help you find quick answers to questions is the little magnifying glass located at the top of the page.
In the blank spaces to it's right, just type in your question. You'll then see a drop down menu.
It could be that your question, or something very similar to what you are asking...has already been asked...and been answered.
It's much quicker to check there first, rather than waiting for the (great ) community to give you a reply.
Give it a try next time you have a question. :)
However, don't stop asking the community. After all, we ARE a community. When asked questions, it make the ole' gray-matter (aka our brain) start working.
After all, when questions are asked, it very well could be that no one has ever thought to ask it before.
Keep yourself involved in WA and you'll be a expert soon enough!
Yay! :) Tom
A niche is a small market within a larger market:
Clothing>>Shoes>>Boots>>Hiking Boots>>Jungle Hiking Boots
You want to narrow it down. The domain is he of your website which could be http://www.junglehikingboots.com
John
Hi. Your niche is what you have chosen your website to be about. You are focusing on a market for a specific product or products that will help people. A domain is your website address, it is your location and identity on the internet.
The domain name is the name of your website/url. http://Wealthyaffiliate.com is the domain of this organization.
A niche is a specific market that you are targeting. The domain and niche are usually directly related and relevant to each other, but the relation is not always obvious.
http://WealthyAffiliate.com is the domain, but the niches are affiliate marketing, website hosting, etc.
So, the domain name is basically just your website's internet address. The niche is what your website is actually about.
Domain is your web address eg yourwebsite dot com. Niche is what your website is all about.
The domain is the name of your website and a niche is explained here A Niche is A Group of People Looking for Stuff

To advertise Amazon products and benefit one must be an affiliate
You need to create account first https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join/landing/main.html
Also, you can type AMAZON in the search box here at WA and find a lot of stuff related to that.
If you are from America or international country you will be using http://Amazon.com and if you are uk then it is http://Amazon.co.uk
Ha ha, it is insane how helpful everyone is here. Every time I see a question I can actually help someone with, it has already been answered by some one else.
You request an affiliate partnership from them, they give you a user-id and it will be then embedded in any product you choose from them.l.
