From reading that I think it's only your nameservers which will be changed. You'll need to back up your website before you do that. Does iPage have WordPress? I've never heard of them before and it seems like it's going to take an extraordinary length of time for them to make a transfer which can be done in minutes or hours not days. ~Marion
they requested I change the NS1 and NS2 at godaddy and ask godaddy to send me a transfer authorization code. I figured that out. Hopefully they will do the rest as they suggested they would.

Just showed up as an Administrator and is adding content to my website.
Go to "Settings" in your Dashboard and then uncheck the "Anyone can register" box. Then go to "Users" and delete the unwanted user.
And don't worry, these people CANNOT add content to their website. These are just automated bots that sign-up when you don't have this box unchecked and ultimately it does no harm to your site other than act as a nuisance any time you get notified that someone registers.

An affiliate marketplace is asking me to add an HTML Meta Tage ?
I don't think there's any harm in doing what they ask. Just go to appearances-->editor, then choose whatever file they want you to edit from the right.
Alternatively you can add a met tag right into one of your pages if you view it in text mode and not visual mode.
Try it and you will se what I mean. Glyn
It's a Zanox publisher account. I don't understand it so I won't join. It's free but since I don't understand what it does I will skip it.
This is probably to confirm your ownership of the site, no? It's asking you to add some code to a section of your site. Are there any other options for confirmation?

Most affiliate programs require you to verify in some way or another. Uploading a file via FTP is a popular method, but they usually have other ways to do it as well.
Most places are very willing to work with people, so if you shoot them an email, they may be able to send you a set of instructions they have.
Thanks. I passed on this one because it was something called Zanox and it didn't look right.
