From my laptop:
Video loaded within 3 seconds. I personally love that type of an intro.
I would have the video only on one page. On the second page, you may want to add an additional photo to break up the content. Overall, looks great and the content is interesting and engaging. Well done!
Thanks MarineMom,
I am not going to use both pages. I am just trying to figure out which one would be better to use. I think I am leaning towards the page without the video auto loading. Thank you for taking a look and I am glad you liked the content. I don't usually get involved with MLM's but I REALLY like the product. I figured if I an going to use it, I might as well try to sell it to... lol
Thanks again MarineMom,
Anthony
Hi Anthony. On my android ...
your home page is static...one image and text, no auto video or links to video. I had to search menu to find video links page. Videos loaded quickly and cleanly.
I find auto play videos extremely annoying.
second page/home...good amount of text, you tube video loads after 5 seconds. It does sputter a bit.
general comment...nice work but I'm not overly excited by domain name.
Go well from Janelle.
Thanks Janelle,
Thanks for the android feedback... It's interesting, some androids load the video automatically and some just show the static image. The name was born out of the fact that i cannot use the product name (yevo) in the domain for copy write reasons (i actually have a lot of domains with "yevo" in it but was told by the company they were not letting anyone use the name). foodforlife43 was used so i could get the 43 in the name for the 43 essential nutrients... I may still build some other sites with different names, I want to get this one going first.
Thanks again for the comments,
Anthony
Hi Anthony, checked out your site as well. I Like it as well. It took a little time to load but thast could be on my service provider. I definitely agree with David on the text, in that it's too light. Why not use black text? Hope this was helpful.
Thanks Vanessa,
I think I am going to go with the page that does not have the auto-loading video precisely because I can not control how it loads on other people's computers... I don't want people leaving for that reason. I didn't even notice the lighter text... lol
Thanks for looking at it Vanessa,
Anthony
Anthony, first off I have to say I love your website! To answer your questions:
1. On a normal computer (my laptop) it took about 10 seconds to load. If someone is interested enough they will wait, but I think most people who are on the internet don't like to wait very long.... just my opinion.
2. I have mixed feelings about this. If I am on the phone, at work, or having a conversation with someone I find it really annoying. Otherwise it is sometimes very nice and interesting.
3. I think it is okay the way it is. However, it is a great video, but I am not sure I would have it on both pages if each page is linked to the other on your site.
4. Most of your text is very light in color. Although it is completely legible and readable, you might want to consider making it darker in case there is light on the persons screen who is viewing it as that will make it difficult for them to read it.
Hope that helps!
Thanks David,
The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards not having the video auto load... I really like the way it looks but I don't want to annoy people. I will take a look at the text, I didn't even realize that it was lighter. I've been looking at other things. It's always good to have someone look at your site because of things just like that.
Thanks David,
Anthony

Anthony...first, I am not sure about the first version with the automatic video. It took too long to load and even though it looks professionally done, it won't help if people won't stay around long enough to view it. The second one looks great. A lot of good info with a lot of videos. But, if I understand the process that Kyle and Carson is teaching us, your site is a sales site that you want to get people to go to by creating a blog site first. The blog site is where you would create content that would create interest in your niche. You would use this blog site to try and rank high in the search engines. Then, when people are looking for good nutrition, they might find your site ranked on the search engines. I looked at the websites you have listed in your profile and I see another sales site and several websites that must be in the beginning stages. I didn't see a site that resembles what they are teaching here. I am pretty sure that sales sites don't rank well in search engines. Now that you have a great sales site, were you going to work on a blog niche site? The only reason I am asking is because if you don't have a way to funnel traffic to your sales sites, you will not generate the income you are hoping for. If I misunderstand what you are doing, please accept my apology. Good luck!
Hi FrankieCat,
This site is actually a wordpress blog site. You don't get to the sales site until you click through to either buy product or join the company. This site will have a lot more info on it after i get the format down. there will be a full page write-up with video on each of the 43 essential nutrients and much more info on the company and product.
Just being a "sales" site doesn't necessarily rank badly, It all boils down to the information you have on the site. Amazon ranks great and all they do is sell stuff.
Thanks for the feedback and i have decided not to use the automatic video thanks to all the feedback i have received. You are 100% correct when you say that people will not stay around long enough to look at everything if the get frustrated that the page doesn't load quick enough.
I'm not sure what i am going to do with the other sites. the company "yevo" does not want us using their name in any domain names. We did not find this out until recently.
Thanks again for the feedback FrankieCat,
Anthony
