Hello there,

My name is Mary. I've been with WA for 3 years. Not all of that time was spent working on my websites because I was very ill, but even then I learned a huge amount just by being on the platform, reading, interacting, going through the training, immersed in the atmosphere. And experimenting with websites even just a little bit was enough to gain me some returns and has left me with free membership here today.

I had been very interested in getting online before I found WA, I had taken a number of courses including Brendon Burchard's Experts Academy [took the free trial and returned it to him, ty] and was led to believe it would cost thousands of dollars to get online. Then I saw a review of EA by Nathaniell that made me laugh because Nat had summed that guy up very quickly and cut through the bs and introduced me to WA, which I soon discovered allowed me to get online professionally and easily and costs nothing really, by comparison.

Regarding my username, I had no idea about the 'other' Moz out there when I chose this as my WA username. So I was blown away when I discovered the coincidence and like to see it as a sign of great future online success :D In the end I modified it to MozMary so people wouldn't confuse it with the brand name Moz when I make comments in here, though I have uploaded some pics to show there were Mary Moz's around in the 1940s!

The pics on the profile are of the forest beside me, so when I go for a walk that is the beautiful view. It is Lough Key Forest, Ireland. And added to my profile pics is a cat walking on a stairs, but is it going up or going down and when your rank goes up here are YOU going up or down as regards real success? :)

WA has the best online resources for training and optimized high end hosting and at the best price, and as someone who hadn't been earning for years due to illness I really appreciate the opportunity that Kyle and Carson provide to everyone in here, equally. There is no big financial outlay and no upsells that I have to buy into 'in order to make it', I have the chance I need right now.

You will notice I complain about the rank system from time to time. Some people get obsessed with their WA rank and the system and training unfortunately encourage that. It means some people of high rank in here don't know anything at all about the platform or training, they are just active and activity is rewarded with 'high rank' yet people naturally tend to equate high rank with knowledge and success and even magistudios the live coach sends people to 'ambassadors' for advice, so I hope some day they will actually train ambassadors in here and not leave it entirely a social award.

So don't believe high rank is important or low rank is in any way unimportant, right now it just reflects how active a person is. You will soon find out who knows their stuff, a bit like everywhere else in life.

Best wishes and enjoy the training, you now have access to the best resources for building a website and business online.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update July 15th, 2017:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I congratulate people on their real success in their websites and online ventures that produce results, their wins in learning and their page rankings in google and the SERPs but NOT any in-house rank games in the community.

**I'm not going to tell you WA rank is important or support any silly blogs calling mere facebook-type activity a 'success'.**

**True success is you succeeding online, the reason you join WA in the first place.**

**Don't forget why you joined an affiliate marketing training platform with high end managed Wordpress hosting!**

btw, I had a life before WA, several degrees, first class honors, double and triple firsts at university level, setting several records, full research scholarships, real universities, real success - and the secret to high success includes knowing the difference between merely being 'busy' and actually being 'productive'.

Medical error nearly killed me some years back, and so I got knocked to the bottom of the food chain. Iatrogenic death is actually the #1 killer today, not cancer or heart disease, now THAT is a reason to have a blog ;)

It took time to crawl out of the medical bin, and having survived against the odds I just don't have the patience for bs, and yes you'll have to wade through it at times in here, but I'm here for the resources, and I encourage you to focus on them too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ps any sites of mine you see mentioned publicly by me at WA are test sites, my real sites are not publicly displayed at this point, but coming soon :)

Hi Mary,

Wonderful to meet you and I'm honoured to follow you. I have been reading your GDPR articles. They are very informative and of course very helpful.

You are an amazing writer and your stories here are truly inspirational. I love how you are upfront in expressing your opinions. I hope your health is much improved.

I wish you continued success in your online business and best of health for a long long time.

Blessing to you,
Monica

Hi Monica, thanks for the kind words.

Had a quick look at your pp on scuba site - did you use some form of pp generator there or fill it in yourself - nice layout, there's a couple of tweaks I see at a glance - see the top para "Our Privacy Policy was last updated and posted on the 20th of May, 2018. This means our business is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant." the privacy policy doesn't make a site compliant, it would be more accurate to say 'updated and posted on 20th May in line iwth GDPR compliance' and see those 4 empty headings at the end, you can knock them off - including the one for data breaches, that one would be about your security, or you could state you have good security etc

the bit in the middle I didn't look too closely at right now

Hi Mary,

Thank you but the credit all goes to fleurallen. I PM her after I read her article on GDPR and she was very kind to send me her url on her Privacy Policy.

Thank you, Mary, for reading my privacy policy and giving me corrections. Great points and I am going to make the changes right now. I'm really glad you did that.

Do you know where I can get Amazon's GDPR Privacy Policy? I have a dive site and I guess I need to mention Amazon in my dive site.

Many thank yous Mary and Blessings to you.

Kind Regards,
Monica

Hello Mary!

Want to thank you for your GDPR contributions. This is such a complex topic to me and it's so good to have you "separating the wheat from the chaff".

I'm happy to have found you here at WA and I'm looking forward to having a close look at your trainings.

Wish you health and success in plenty!

Just finished watching training video on affiliate links…I have a number of questions about affiliate links:

1) The video wasn’t exact as to how many links are suggested in a single post? For example, if my post is promoting Wealthy Affiliate, how many links are recommended per post so your Google ranking is not adversely affected?

2) Since I have a lot of posts promoting Wealthy Affiliate, what is THE BEST strategy for getting affiliate links on all of those posts?

3) Would it hurt my Google ranking if I have different links on the same post for different products?

4) Kyle mentioned in the video sending the links in his posts to a review page which in turn directly links to the actual product. Is this necessary?

I would appreciate the answers to these questions as it would help clarify my concerns about affiliate links.

Thank you,
Howard

hello Howard,

1. how many varies on the length and how natural they fit into your content, but keeping them minimal is good, try two for starters and get a feel for things - it's not set in stone

2. this question shows you need to spend more time in the training and getting a feel for things. So you had a bunch of posts with no links? And now you want to go back and put them in? Well in that case you still have to look for coherence, if you are talking about something in WA then you can link to it on WA, we can link to any page in here - keep it flowing and natural.

3. it does not harm you to promote more than one product, keep it natural

4. linking to a review page with the affiliate links is not always necessary, it is a method used at certain times, but you can direct link from your page/post to the product

however sounds like you are just beginning to get a feel for it and need to spend more time going over the training, then these concepts will all fall into place.

Thanks for following me, MozMary. I take your advice seriously: Don’t just be busy; produce. I dare say, I have been “busy” responding to blogs and, hopefully, i have made comments that add value. Yes, that did shoot up my ranking quite fast. While I understand your critique of this, I have to say, that did give me courage and the urge to be here daily. Being productive will be my way of keeping it up there while I deepen my knowledge in the process.

I did whiz through the early stages of the Certification Course too, but got stuck at putting content to the website because: I tend to be self-critical to the point of paralysis; I have not really sought help; I have been derailed by the daily needs of making a living. The resolution: Follow the training on that portion again; use Jaaxy; do a little more research; Write!

Thanks, Mary. I look forward to interacting more.

Awesomeness!
Mojalefa.

I've been there with the writing, it's my natural instinct to want a lot of time and research thoroughly. We can still do the research part, but go to communicate it rather than make it perfect.

Maybe pick a practice niche on a free site to work through the training. Also you have the blogs here to practice communicating too, that's all it is about. When you have something you want to share then it flows, but I understand the perfectionism. Online it is more about communication and you seem to find that easy.

Kyle has a quip where he says people tell him they can't write and they communicate that in a 500 word email to him :)

Hi, I'm following you because you are a straight shooter. Thanks for telling it like it is. I have been here off and on for a few years and plan to stay for awhile because of the resources as you mention. Now that Jaaxy is part of the package WA has more value to me. I find value in the site content area as well even though I don't have my website hosted here. It still provides conveniences like the grammar checker, duplicate content checker and word counter etc.

No need to follow me back. I don't play that game :) (following someone just because they followed me or liked a comment)

Hi DJ, nice to meet you. Yes, the resources keep me here though the rank and now 'top helper' features ruin it since the system awards hyperactivity more than genuine helpers, and empty vessels always did make the most noise!

Yep, I shoot too straight for some, so glad to meet a like minded person and I appreciate your honesty - that's the thing to remember when we are being bombed by posts from silly members is that there are actually fantastic people in here and opportunities, under the ****!

Sure is a nice looking dog there. I don't really get the follow thing, I just click randomly on a whim these day - if I were starting new I'd probably not follow anyone, but it's too late for me now, can't mass delete!

Hello MozMary!!! Thank you for following me. You are right about the ranking. It is addictive to want to be high on the rank and not write or do anything else. I find myself unproductive in implement my website at times.

However, when I interact with WA members regularly, there are some golden nuggets that are very helpful along the way. I received great tips, advice, and encouragements that help me plow through my mental obstacles and blockage. I guess the key is finding a good balance.

I hope you are feeling better these days. I look forward to learn more about you.

Best wishes for a fantastic year.

Yes, I agree about the balance, so many people go from one extreme to zero activity and they miss out and we miss out on their contribution too. It's the spam posts aimed at increasing rank that are a killer though, spambassadors hogging up the top places with poor content, Kyle needs to keep tweaking his ranking algorithm, we've lost a lot of good people because of it.

Best wishes for 2018 online! Great bio! :)

I salute you for your up front attitude and calling a spade a spade! Sounds like we have a few things in common too. My career and life took a huge tumble due to medical error also. All those years and all that money spent on an education only to lose it all with one slip of the surgeons knife. (Oh and what he did to try and cover it up too!)

Thanks MozMary. Doctors always cover their tracks when they make mistakes it seems. I tried to sue mine, but after they bought off three attorneys in a row I just gave up. My energy was so low at the time they just beat me down. Thankfully Jehovah helped me attain both Labor and Industries and Social Security disability, so we have a living wage. That’s more than most end up with. The glory goes to God though.

I am trying to put a link to WA on my site. I followed the directions that I found in the search. I tied to test it, every time I go on Google and type in the title or the URL it shoots me directly to back office of my site with dashboard and all. is that normal?

when I click on the WA link from there nothing happens. Any suggestions?
Reply
MozMary Premium
Hi there, did you get this sorted?

yes it would be normal to get into your dashboard sometimes when we open our site, due to caching on the computer...Kyle mentions in the training at one point not to be worried about that as only you can see it, someone out there on google can't

is it ok for you today? you could try a flush or clearing cache, thing about clearing cache is you'll have to re-enter passwords afterwards

Hi MozMary! Thank you for the follow. Very much appreciated your very direct message and truly understand how you see things, I am not into bs myself. And I have been spending as much time responding to e-mails as I have learning and being trained. In fact maybe more. My background and work history have shaped and molded me into a 'no nonsense' type person.

I joined WA only a few weeks back and quickly understood the over-the-top merits of their training capabilities...and the level of their interests for people to succeed. Now, that says a lot about the character and integrity and generosity of the Founders, Kyle and Carson. And going forward I will review your posts.

Best wishes are extended to you for continued success.

our biggest goal for the platform imo should be to work smart as well as hard, that means cleaning the place up and sorting out the drama on the dashboard, the crazy social ambassador system that leaves people who know nothing in an authoritative position to 'advise' our new referrals and totally lead them astray

so when you refer people to the resources here always look after them closely yourself ;)

Thanks for the info, I was not sure what rank was really based on and now that I know, not very concerned about it. I joined about 2 and 1/2 years ago but also due to some medical challenges that left me with little after work energy I did not do much. I am retired now and pursuing the training each day although likely slower than I would like. I get foggy sometimes. The technical stuff gets me confused and I have to walk away for a time. Sometimes I wish there was an actual live person to ask questions of. I do believe this will work for me in time however.
Reply
MozMary Premium
Keep asking questions in the classrooms and you'll eventually get all the answers you need :)

Once you go over the training it clicks, no matter how slow, and Kyle has condensed it a lot so we get the true set of basics to make it work and pull in the traffic :)

I hope everything is ok personally but if you are taking a step back because of the business? May I ask why? Also I thought I read or heard that we can refer others to the WA Community? If so the people you referred, what is the pay scale like for them joining, at obviously premium and is it some residual compensation?
Reply
MozMary Premium
Hi there, I'm doing well and getting busy with my sites.

Always remember precisely why you joined and what attracted you to join WA, write it down, and look at it from time to time.

You'll see a rank number hanging round your neck in here, that is the only real fly in the ointment, it can drive people to do crazy things and then the strategies and activities raise their rank and suddenly there can be some crazy people lording around as ambassadors and practically endorsed by WA with badges and cups...so I'm waiting till they clean that whole aspect up. There are some excellent ambassadors but you as a newbie likely cannot tell who is who or know the history, and if your referrer is new they won't know either.

Yes there is a great referral system, see the Affiliate Bootcamp black button on the left, if you follow along the training you'll get there. Can be $23.50 per month per referral...depends on which package they choose.

Hi Scott, I see a private message from you at 11 hours ago and these say 16 and 20 so it looks like the messaging is working for you now. I will try messaging you for these.

Just to note though that it is best not to rush into things as a newbie and be careful seeking advice - lessons tell us at one point to change from admin to new user, best to do things in the right order at the right time, tick off all the tasks in each lesson before moving onto new tasks, in fact it's a good idea to use the free sites too.
Reply
stawhu Premium
Hi , Mary , thanks for the tip. But , you know as I read the blogs and comments some seem so important that it is like , maybe I should do that now so it is integrated into my own personal developement. Good example, is the name change. I figured out that the new name has the same authority as admin so I logged in there and I am now able to do whatever needs to be done. Also , I upgraded my theme and while I don't see that the instructions are quite what they are supposed to be, when I added a new privacy policy two showed up on the menu . One from the old theme and the new one i did for the new , before i did this there was no actual privacy policy under the single that showed after the live preview, so I went to site content and typed up a fresh pri pol and published now there are two complete pri pol. So, I went to editor and pulled up one of them for edit and what was staring back at me the Trash button and since I knew that that button was only for that page I hit it did a refresh and it was gone. So, I am learning how much will stick I am not sure because I am still not sure EXACTLY how I added the extra items on my menu . I still have one more to go. My next jobs are to decide on whether I need both a child theme and a clone , not sure of the subtleties and distinctions , and do the step 9 review in boot. Didn't mean to be so long, but I consider your input very valuable thanks again Scott
Reply
MozMary Premium
it looks like you are veering way off the training Scott, be careful you are not pulled down the rabbit hole with child themes etc, best to take things one step at a time in the order that Kyle has laid them out and only after you master this training consider other stuff like that

as for clones, just check out marionblack's training on wpclone and backups

notice until you've added content there isn't a lot to back up

the whole point about affiliate marketing is the content for the traffic for the sales/money - you could spend all day on fiddly design issues and have no one coming to your site, as happens everywhere outside this platform, hence - back to the training!
Reply
stawhu Premium
Hi Mary , Thanks for the input understand what you mean about adding content and the rabbit hole. But, after seeing how I goofed up on the Privacy policy and about me (which I was able to save eventually) I decided I had better at least check these things out. and I was a Boy Scout- motto Be Prepared. and yes the premium theme helped as the original only supported three heading in the menu . I learned and now I have eight with room for at least one more and I have to make judicious use of it. I think I am back on track, as my next job is to write the review for step 9 and get my about me page inserted in the new theme. I started with the Pirvacy policy on this one figuring if I goof something up no harm no foul , its a template.I got it inserted and ended up with two ,( one was probably transferred from previous theme) I was then able to figure out that by going to the content editor I might be able to fix it. Well I looked at that edit page the trash it button was staring back at me, so I picked one of the privacy policies to edit and hit trash. Viola only one privacy policy now in menu and no comment box. I appreciate your counsel on this as staying "on track" is important. Looking forward to more you have helped me alot and I hope I can do do the same for beginners when I am capable. And about the password problem I was able to get over that because by adding the new user, he (me ) has the same authority as admin so that is how I log in now and it is just fine Thanks Again, Scott
Reply
stawhu Premium
Well I went with the premium version of the theme because the free version did not support the menu line that I was trying to put in . But, I also took the advice of surfside Bob and added a real user name to the site, because he said noboy wants to read that admin wrote something it is better with a name and now I cannot do any edit because an error comes up and says my password is incorrect and I don't know which password they are talking about because i updated the password on the site mgr. Do you what might be causing this problem ? stawhu

Hello Ivy, great to meet you!

Well there's so much copying going on online that I'm almost resigned to writing stuff off as 'educational'! It's happening on every level, even by people who know how bad it is to plagiarize, as you know people are kicked out of uni for it, but it's happening from the top down, I'm seeing some very pious authority sites in the health niche being among the worst offenders, and you'll hear Jay talk about people set up clones of his test sites. He didn't mind because he could still outrank them but we've had people say someone stole their content and outranked them!! Google may one day catch them out :)

take a look at magistudios recent webinar on changing themes and make sure you've done the things you were supposed to do - always backup your site before a theme change too [marionblack shows some good ways to do that]

I'm not quite sure what you are describing here - you made a change to a post but it didn't show? - but it sounds like you need to practice a bit - remember to use the free sites for practice that way you don't have to worry about your main site

if you make updates and they don't show then sometimes you have to flush your dns, that is really easy, here is a training on it if flushing works then you don't need to clear cache

Thanks again your really in tune with this tech stuff . I am just happy my computer doesn't blow up . I have to keep closing tabs as when i do something in a new tab I sometimes already have that tab open in another window , I am working on correcting this. the is a psychological term for this it has to do with fear of losing something or missing out any way I got the identical theme up on my test site. but I can' use it yet as it needs a custom menu , the only thing on this menu is home and I used it for privacy policy. When i add the content from the platform to this test site is it a copy that goes or is then transferred OUT of content? sorry if I am overthinking

Thank you so much MozMary for you guidance. I was able to get back on track without deleting my site and starting over. And I learned a couple of thing along the way ,I think , I hope. Hi Mary.
I really enjoyed reading your bio, It's amazingly honest and truly portrays my heart.
I am glad that you have recovered from that unfortunate mishap.

Concerning blogs and the likes...
I believe that the true value is seen by the heart and the spirit of the content. That separates the sheep from the goats.

Thanks for the connection. Let's succeed together.

Hi, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Teri Madruga. I have just found WA, and I can say there is a lot of false programs out there. I have put out money and had to get returns until I finally found this program. I agree with you about your intro. It's not about rankings or anything to do with rankings. It's about actually taking the steps and learning how to become successful online. I am very new at the whole thing but I'm willing to learn and get the ball rolling. I wish you health and best wishes for your future.

Hi
Thank you for the advice you gave me earlier on Live Chat, you may not remember but I was having a problem with all my posts going directly to my homepage.
Anyway you told me to go to settings and then to reading and then I have the option to set my homepage as static, all new to me can you tell? haha.
I have one more question though, I did find a training video on this subject and when Kyle was going through it he clicked on static page and then on the drop down menu it listed his posts so he could then choose which one to set as his homepage. When I click on it the only thing listed is my privacy page, I have 3 other posts but they aren't listed, any idea why?
Many thanks again for you help.

Hi Simon, yes I remember you from chat. Glad you are getting the hang of things.

As for adding posts to the menu, did you scroll down under the pages to the other sections, posts, custom links, categories - posts needs to be clicked then they open up and you should see your posts in there and then be able to add them to the menu, they won't be in the same box as the pages

see if that works, if not there has been a training recently which should be in the search bar, I think jvranjes has one on it too

Hi MozMary! Thanks for the Tip on how to find status of renewing WA membership. And interesting to read your profile. Ive been thru difficulties this year also, mostly though with bug invaders into my house and dermatology problems, most are gone now. Have been using many products to help, many came from Amazon so that is what I want to blog about with WA and be an active Amazon affiliate. Too busy now with getting the rugs pulled out of my house and the wood floors polished. Everything is topsy turvey at home now so I hope it gets back in order soon. Hope to get back to business soon with my Affiliate web page on my chosen topic. Have a start with my website but no links yet to Amazon products yet. So here's hoping that 2018 is much better for both of us and that we can reach our WA goals soon. Take care and best wishes.

Wow, you certainly are going through it but great that you are both winning and ready to monetize it! :D

Also take a look at the iherb .com affiliate program/rewards program, they should have a lot of products for bugs and skin, and are easy to get into

I too am sorting out the house and boy it does get in the way of going full steam ahead at times, yes, here's to a great 2018 and end of 2017 :)

Love your bio, Mary! I am a newcomer to WA and, having gone through some other programs or trainings that cost a fair penny or required additional tools or subscriptions at additional cost, and sometimes, a dished out a fair amount of BS, I am really coming to appreciate WA all the more. I especially was happy about WA's letting me get my feet wet first at virtually no cost so that WA could prove its value to me. It has. I'm all on board now.

One thing that you said that really hit home for me is that one should not equate being busy with being productive. Because focus and action have always been a challenge for me, those are the 2 things I am committing myself to do as I make my way through the initial training and develop my website and online business.

I truly appreciate all the help you and the other ambassadors and all members give to us at WA. So, thank you!

Ninah

P.S. Ireland is definitely near the top of my bucket list. I've been briefly to the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain areas for 1 long weekend, but want to return for a much more extensive and extended tour. My forebears hail from Sligo. Cheers!

Thanks NinahJo, welcome on board! I love your bio too! And also your new motto, must admit I had a shift in thinking like that too from 'work' to life'.

About the focus, action and productivity - it's a real challenge for all of us in here keep pulling back to what is important and keep focused, it can be so much fun doing the extra 'busy' stuff, and the internal rank system doesn't help - you'll soon find out! Just always remember why you came here, that has to be our mantra to keep moving forward productively.

I like the way you say Ireland is 'near' the top of your bucket list - there's that living life large again :D Sligo is a very beautiful part of the country...on the Wild Atlantic Way, I visit the beaches there regularly.

Actually it was. I was on my way to Shannon and our plane had to divert to London because of wind shear. All was not lost though, I met Peter Graves (original Mission Impossible), yelled out his name as he was going up the escalator at London Heathrow. I clicked his picture when he turned around.

He returned the favor, although quietly, when he snuck behind me and put those big hands on my shoulders and smiled.

Shannon, Ireland however is still on my bucket list (wow I had one before they made the movie)!

Hi, Mary,
As an astrologer, I love to look at others charts, concerning health issues. After this last eclipse, 4 friends ended up in the hospital for various things, but 3 for heart attacks and stints. They were all related to the signs of the eclipse.
To me it's a powerful tool for preventative medicine.
Reply
MozMary Premium
Whatever works for an individual, is a saying that I'd agree with. I personally am not into astrology, but I think preventative medicine and a preventative lifestyle go hand in hand and that chronic illness has a cause usually related to food and other factors that we could influence much more than big pharma leads us to believe, they would not have their trillion dollar profits if people went around preventing heart attacks!

Don't get me started on the medical field! I work with addiction.
I'm disturbed at how many speed freaks and cocaine addicts are diagnosed with Bi-Polar when they are trying to get "clean" ! Many are put on the psych-meds and that just delay recovery and often...Adds to their problems!!
I've seen it too, many times.
Many are often misdiagnosed and then, the addict has "an excuse".
Look forward to where all this will lead. So many folks here just want ways to help others, by whatever means possible!

So true, do you know Kelly Brogan, a psychiatrist who now practices without meds and calls it out about so many of those misdiagnoses. Then there is a whole wing of new functional medicine doctors on the scene now who can show thyroid disease is often misdiagnosed as bipolar!!! Even after when women have babies, we've seen some Hollywood stars succomb to that misdianosis too - plenty of room for exposure on this subject - hope your blog covers it too? :)

ok, you have to follow along the training and take it step by step. Kyle tells you to build an about me page, then a privacy policy, and when you do that you are building out pages. He also shows us how to create a menu, as some themes do not show the pages, you have to create a menu and arrange your pages. Later he moves onto images. When you start the course, the green button Get Started Here, it begins with an introduction on affiliate marketing and making money but he takes you step by step into building your website one step at a time. All the tasks at the end of the lesson make sure you tick the boxes that concern the website and you will see where you are in the build.

There is a feature on this platform called SiteContent, it is in the same area where you access your website, that bright blue button called SiteRubix on the left of this page. Scroll down that menu. In SiteContent you can build pages and publish to your website, and you can add images there too. But take the lessons step by step, don't just jump into 'pages', 'images', he is guiding you.

Whatever lesson you are on and you have a question, just ask a question and we will help you one step at a time. or PM private message me. There is some extra training on this that I can also show you later, bedtime here though this side of the world!

It is nice to see someone who is making their website work for them. Lets us know we are all on the right track. What I would like to ask you is this. I started to fill in the registration for Health Talks Online for the Affiliate Program. It started to talk about a website that I was required to maintain it. The website was not their responsibility. Which is fine but what confused me was am I using my website which in the beginning I thought I was or is it one they give out, which I build and maintain during the time of their summit. Also I have to take down all the content matter that I put together in a blog once the summit is over.

They also asked for a company name. I don't have a company.

I realize I am asking a lot but would be kind enough to enlighten me as to the procedure of this for I have not registered with any summit events as of yet.

Thank you for all your help and information.

it's about getting affiliate links, you use your own website or social media, certainly not theirs

I'm not sure what content you refer to - they have what they call optional 'copy' for people doing email launches but we are free to use it or ignore it. We don't have to use any of their material. You are free to write reviews on the speakers any way you like, for or against.

As for company name, you could put anything at all there, it won't matter. The important thing will be your paypal address for payment.

Hi, remember to master the training, take each lesson and don't skip any or you may miss something important.

This platform is very good at SEO, which is what you need.

As for 'rank', don't confuse rank inside WA with rank in google, it is the rank of your posts and pages in google that is the important thing and that will require working on your website consistently.

Hi! MozMary,
I just went through your profile again, and I am impressed and inspired by what and how you have gone through to the current phase of life.

I definitely agreed that iatrogenic death is #1 killer since iatrogenic disorders contribute to professional burden and income of medical practice, yet which most of them can be prevented if following the suggestion/instruction as described in How to Handle Sickness on http://formefirst.com/onDealSickness.html. In reality, the care as outlined has not been followed by many, even most, professionals due to falling victim to political correctness and commercialism.

Your revealing personal 4-year activities in WA carries a significant load of reassurance which is helpful and important for the WA newbies like me of only two years old in it.

Oh! I just sent you a private message in response to your inquiry 4 days ago. I am ready to do the hard work so to welcome another phase of success in life after retirement under "doctorpreneurship" as you coined it.

Please let me know who and what we can work together. You may reach at realinct2002@yahoo.com or a call at 734-846-2699; I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1976.

I had actually signed up with another group to do something similar to WA. But then I found WA (and saw that it offered far and above what the other group touted), I knew I had to be part of WA. Fortunately, I was able to get my money back from the other group and jump into WA. It's been great! Woohoo!

Excellent timing, glad you got your money back! It was 2012 when I did Burchard's course [took it on money back trial, omg, it nearly wore me out] and I watched all his lead up videos...you know when they say well that's an hour of my life I won't get back [or 20]!! So funny that you say he has cut them down in size, but I think it was all part of a hypnotic induction to put us to sleep at some level after which point we just swallowed everything he said !! :D

That's a hoot! I decided then that I would not do any online webinars or anything else that goes on for hours. There have been some others who have done that too. I got off of their email lists and ran the other way! To me, online events that are short (about an hour, or less, depending on what needs to be taught), with valuable content, and w/o hype show that someone value's my time. Hi Mary. Thank you for your quick response. I found it! But lost your comments to my question.
What I was wondering is the Site Rubix where we can create content pages - is this just for putting your ideas into one central location? Once you"publish" that info, if you edit that post in WPress then those saved changes do not migrate to what was originally saved in Site Rubix.
Or maybe I'm doing the edit wrong.
Reply
MozMary Premium
ah, I think you are using the word siterubix for sitecontent

I think you are correct in that once you publish from sitecontent to your website then it is gone from sitecontent, you must continue to edit on wp - but it is set up for that eg we still need to add images on the website, and we need to do the SEO on the website article too
Reply
Debbie717 Premium
Thank you, Mary. So site content is more for drafting out your initial content. Anything after that I should be doing in WP. Is that right?
Reply
MozMary Premium
yes, it is slightly more than a draft in that it will help you with grammar and spelling, and help you format in certain ways with headings, and it will tell you when/if an article is indexed in google, but in the future they will be adding in other features like adding images, but right now definitely a need to edit within wp, add images there, tags and categories there, and also not to forget to scroll down to the bottom of your post/page and do the meta for SEO

There are some really solid people in here, providing great help and training. The dashboard has hit an all time slump the past few weeks/months but I try to scan it once a day to see if anyone has asked a good question or posted a good blog or training. Some real nuggets show up from time to time and the exchange can be great way to learn, so just a heads up to keep an eye out for the occasional nuggets. I don't open most posts now, I just go either by the title or the person. But you are so wise in what you said, and it's really great to meet a like minded person.

There are too many good member trainings to list here but make sure to check in on the profiles of people like jvranjes, marionblack, boomergp08, and of course magistudios. Using the search bar center of page can bring up extra training too, though I'm hoping they upgrade it so we can find all of them easily.
