Thanks Loes!

Hey Debbie,

Loes created a post that I am certain you will find very helpful in resolving this issue: Hope you find this helpful.

Go to your wordpress dashboard. Click setting and then general. Scroll down and see if the box "Membership" is ticked. Untick it if you don't want anyone to register on your website as a user.

Not sure if this is the problem.

Hi, Rika.
Nice to hear from you again.
I trust that things are well.

Paul.

that was simple, direct and specific help! Hugs! Debbie

Thanks, Rika.

I received notification that someone had posted a comment on my website. When I went to answer the question they had posted, I found that they had posted a comment on a photo?

Hey Debbie,

Thank YOU for asking this question as I was unaware that this could happen.

Google searched your issue... see screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Yup... I should have probably led with that. :)

Wordpress creates "media attachment pages" for images that you include in your blog posts. The idea is that they provide further information about the images you post.

Unfortunately, this might not always be desirable behavior.

This page has some tips for removing them (but it's not as easy as you might like):

I have been asked by others to build blogs similar to mine, so the basically the framework and not the articles. I have been thinking about building it with the WA siterubix t

So what I have discovered is that NO, you cannot build a website in WA using the site building rubrix and then transfer it to another hosted site. Just in case you have the same question that I had.

I thought about it but convinced them to join WA instead and got the commissions. It seemed more practical for me and them.

I would be curious to hear how it goes for you though.
Jessica

I use subdomains and siterubix to show what I can do. But when I build, I use their host so they own the site from the start. My lock in to the domains here is my private room

Hello:

While I have taught about this my only draw back is the hosting management among other things... Yes if one can pay for his or her service that your provide them then it will be a nice gig. However, and I know you will be using the Site Rubix site to give them your services what happens thereafter... I concur with you to give them a logging in details, ..

Withal, you should give it a try. Wishing you all the best...

Regards,

Sidnney

It would be silly to say you created a site, just launched it. Not trying to get into an ethical/philosophical discussion of this, looking for people who are or have been doing this for advice.

here is some training from Jay on that.

When I first started here I saw several people interested in doing that exact thing. They seemed to debate on whether or not to say it was them that created the site. Since using the free themes.

Thanks for your advice on which pop-up email marketing plugins you are using to build your list and what program.

Hi, I use Aweber. Irv.

A while ago we found that Mailchimp does not allow affiliate marketing...a lot of us have moved away since...
https://mailchimp.com/legal/acceptable_use/

I've used both AWeber and GetResponse. GR is slightly cheaper, and the opt-in form is better.

I'm using GR now and thinking about changing it back to AW for a slight more flexibility...

I have personally used aweber.com over the years. Their service doesn't come without some drawbacks and I have had my fair share of complaints over the years, but in my opinion they are doing a good job offering a fairly high quality autoresponder service.

Others use mailchimp.com (more rules about certain niches), getresponse.com and madmimi.com. I haven't heard many good things about infusionsoft or their price point.

Opinions vary, of course. I think that often this comes down to what you're familiar with and if a system has the features that you need to accomplish your goals.

FWIW, I'm using Mailchimp. I did run Aweber for a while but if I recall, I could not migrate from MailChimp to Aweber seamlessly. In short, I just wanted to import all my contacts but AW wanted to have them all re-optin which was just to cumbersome in my opinion.

If starting to build your list fresh, my estimation is that any major player is going to have comparable features (apples-to-apples). Really, it's the one that resonates w/ you and what you get used to.

In short, I stuck with Mailchimp, their free plan is incredible, their paid plans are extremely reasonable, and their live chat feature is worth it's wait in gold. I've contacted them at midnight to sort out issues I was having and they've always been extremely accommodating.

I'm positive there would be a review post comparing the different systems - if not, sounds like good material for a blog post ;).

I hope this offers some value.

Is there something in MailChimp without popups?

Not clear on what you mean by pop-ups, jvranjes. Can you clarify?

Was jus thinking about this!

I am using Mail Chimp free plan. Works fine

Aweber and GetResponse are the best services.

Im using Getresponce with MailMunch plugin. They are very easy to use and set up.

Aweber

Aweber seems to be the most popular with MailChimp running a close second

Why does the WA keyword tool show low competition when google search results show high competition? For example the WA tool:

serious bengal cat behavior problem8815View R

You google a keyword phrase and google shows all the results for the whole phrase in any order

Put the keyword in speech marks and you will get different results

Barry

The QSR is for this exact phrase many websites will have variations of this phrase

The strategy is that if you use this exact phrase and do your on page seo right you can eventually rank for this keyword

I put the keyword in speech marks and the result was 0

Google has a strange way of capturing data from topics regarding any topic, I have seen the same thing. The key is to write the content if you have a interest in it and if it adds better value than the Google content already there then you will rank higher.

This may take more time than other direct low search results but these days, hardly any has low search results in Google.

The content is what is important, not all or your post will be high ranking, it is always an up and down pattern except for those who use social media with a big network.

Very good question!

Great question

Thanks for th response... I was not using quotes. But that leads me to ask... When an average Google user is googling something they are not using quotes either right? So wouldn't they get the same 299,000 sites populating just like I did? So what good is all the keyword research to find these low QRS if Google users don't use quotes. Not trying to get into a throw down. I am asking with a heart to learn not with scorn. I really want to know and am asking for help. Because as a typical Google user, I have never used quotes in any of my searches.

It is not about the quotes, it is about exactly that keyword phrase to see the competition for that keyword phrase. Google will add other sites using words of that keyword phrase and these sites just have more authority.

Once your site start to come up in Google and you get authority, someone using exactly that keyword phrase will see your site, this might take time because keywords, authority are not the only elements that Google use for ranking.

Just format your Title Keyword and your H2 tag being the same as your title but with a different keyword. You can rate for 2 keywords this way and I normally put my title keyword in an image just above my H2 Header tag.

For Example;

Title Keyword: Best Keywords
H2 Tag: Best keywords to use

Just keep on writing good quality material and work on your social media groups.

Also tweaking your website speed will not hurt either.

Knowing that google will return millions of results, I use quotation marks in my searches to narrow the results.

It would be interesting to know how many searchers use quotes with their search terms.

What exactly falphenaar said.

put your search query between quotes like "serious bengal cat behavior problem" then you will see the result is 0.

Are you searching under quotes in Google? Do this and the result will be the same, KT is is very reliable.

I just checked, Google gives 0 just like KT.

Click through to the last page of Google results and it will show you the actual competition on Google

Heres another one:

bengal kitten behavior
160 searches
28 clicks
QSR is 56

All according to the WA keyword tool
but if you type that into google, 250,000 sites pop up?

Like loes said click through to the last page and you will see the actual competition. For bengal kitten behavior I got 170
