Hi, I'm Ray. I'm a semi-retired accountant and online entrepreneur from London, UK. I grew up in Japan and emigrated to this country in my early 20's. I've always loved this city and am proud to call myself a Londoner.

Along with my accountancy job, I also started a web designing career in early 2000's, though I'm not a technology expert - I was a 'failed' programmer in my 30's with C++ and Javascript. In the fast developing techie world, I never made it as a programmer but my passion for internet businesses has continuously grown since.

Wealthy Affiliate has dramatically changed my life since I joined - thanks to Kyle, Carson, countless invaluable training materials and the wonderful community, now I'm comfortably able to earn my living solely online.

In the past couple of years I've been heavily involved with email marketing. My main source of income comes from that, as well as affiliate commissions from the related products. I still provide accountancy services via online - something I'm good at, not as inspiring & enjoyable as internet marketing.

Thanks for connecting, I wish you fellow marketers all the best and great success!

Success starts with goals and you're that much closer to achieving them now!

Your goals will be a reality and you will come closer to achieving them with every lesson here at WA! I know that you can do it and you've got an entire community of people in your corner :)

I look forward to working with you and helping out in every way I can!

Hello Ray, would you ind doing me a favour and leaving a comment on a site I have for Matched Betting? I'm not asking you to join (you can if you want) I just would like a comment from someone living in the UK. - I asked for a comment through the "comment system" but someone in NZ picked it up and that's not my target market so it's not realistic. Please feel free to give me links to any site you wants comments on in return, more than happy to oblige.
Thanks for your time

Hi Dave! I just left a comment, I hope that's ok. Matched betting sounds so interesting, and I see what you mean about the country specific comments vs WA comment system. I've had a woman commented on my site saying "why are all the prices in British pound?" Well the url is co.uk to start with... Anyway hope it's ok Dave, good luck to you!

Thanks Gary! That means a lot to me, and thanks for the comment in my site too.

I've learned so much here since I joined. Now in the past few weeks I've decided to step away a little from WA community in order to give my business a big "push", it's been working well so far.

Thanks also for offering a help Gary, I sure will contact you, I appreciate it! I wish you the best of luck to you with continuing success!

Hi Raymundo,
Thank you for taking the time to give me a follow back. I see we are the same age so don't let my picture fool you because that was taken about ten years ago. My beard is just about all grey now! I hope that you achieve everything in life you desire.
Best wishes.

Hi Dale!
Thanks so much to you too - yes good to know someone in the same age as me. It's good going grey though. I bleach my hair only to disguise the baldness lol. I wish it went grey rather than staying black and thinning!
Thanks again, good to meet you and good luck to you too!

Hi Ray:

Thank you for the witty message you left on my notes from Jay's webinar. That was #verysweet of you. I too used to be a web designer some years ago. I became certified in web design in 2004 but like you said, I had to do some major programming with HTML and other scripting languages and it become impossible to keep up with the huge demands of my clients. So, I can totally relate to your story as well. :)

Hi Steph! Thanks for the message - yes it did become much more complicated, didn't it? Ironically the reason I decided to give up was a Flash animation (then Macromedia), which I found myself too slow to create...No one is using it now! The languages are still interesting though.
Thanks again Steph, good luck with your continuing success!

Hi Ray:

I remember Macromedia and having to try and do Flash animation. Macromedia now only exists in the memories of old nerds such as myself. :)
