Hi,
My name is Paul and I am coming to you from Southern Ontario, Canada.

Welcome to my Profile Page here at Wealthy Affiliate University.

Before I share some stuff about myself, I'd like to introduce you to a very unique Online Open Education Project.

The Wealthy Affiliate [Learning & Earning Online Education Platform] has been a work in progress for over 13 years now [est. 2005] and was founded by Kyle Loudoun & Carson Lim.

They met and became friends while attending University in British Columbia and then forged a lifelong business partner relationship to Create The Wealthy Affiliate as Co-Founders.

They have created and established a very successful platform that is based on the following four foundations:

1. Anyone can achieve success online;

2. Anything NEW can appear to be overwhelming at first;

3. Very little Technical or Prior Business Experience is required because these skills can be taught and learned; and,

4. Success is a Journey.

Getting started with The Wealthy Affiliate Open Education Project is easy and is also completely free. No Credit Card or Payment Information is required.

Getting yourself set-up with 'PayPal' is one good idea right from the beginning in order to receive your commissions and to also pay your tuition when you take advantage of the premium membership offered here.

Wealthy Affiliate is not an MLM (Multi Level Marketing) program nor a "Get Rich Quick' environment.

The Open Education Program here teaches us how to develop and execute the fundamentals and specializations that are required to create, develop and sustain a successful business online. It actually is "The Real Deal."

Wealthy Affiliate, also offers a one tier Direct Referral Affiliate Program that is one of the most generous in the the industry with up to 50% commissions. Google "Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp" and read the hundreds of reviews.

"...Faciendo Discimus"..."We Learn By Doing" was my High School motto and it has served me well throughout my life.

First 'Learn' and then remove the 'L' is the general consensus and motto here at Wealthy Affiliate, The Open Education Project and it works too.

You can stay as a Free Member for as long as you like and you will always be welcome, but, Premium Membership has its rewards, privileges and advantages.

Promote your own products, promote the products from others or promote Wealthy Affiliate itself. All the options work very well and are proven.

The Wealthy Affiliate team have been creating success stories since 2005 with over 1 Million members that have already been served.

Who will benefit most from this program?

Those that want to first 'Learn.' Background does not matter. All you need is a Desk Top, or a Laptop and a reliable Internet connection. And yes, you need to budget about $400.00 (actually less and will never change) per year to take full advantage of your success online.

Is it hard to do?

Yes, if you do not follow the step-by-step guidance.

How long before I am Rich?

It depends. If you comprehend the training, you can put yourself in a positive cash flow situation almost immediately to cover the cost of your education without worry forever moving forward. I can show you how once you are comfortable building your first site.

After that, your goal will be to make 4 figures per month, then 5, then 6, maybe even seven. You have to make the program work for you and that requires dedication and consistency.

Do I recommend Wealthy Affiliate and The Open Education Project?

YES!

Hi Paul

Enjoyed reading your bio!

Especially the part about chess. I did not get into the Bobby Fisher stuff, but I did enjoy the game! My grandmother taught me at an early age like yourself! The first moves I learned was the four steps to checkmate! I remember beating my chess instructor in the 7th grade with those moves!

You really nailed it at the end of your bio, about sharing what we learn or know with others!

That is the great thing about this community!

Have an awesome day!

Oh, my God....The four move 'Checkmate.' Unbelievable how many players fell for that one.

Thank you for your kind words of wisdom. I look forward to learning, sharing and serving with you as we all move forward here.

What part of the World are you in?

Regards from Canada.

Hi Paul

I'm in Wisconsin not far from the Minneapolis area!

Yes, the four move checkmate often puts the other team on defense mode also right away, preventing them from establishing an attack plan!

Hello Paul,

You invited me to respond to you further so I decided to send you a private email. I admit that I have a lot of questions about WA but I'm still taking the courses in the Affiliate Bootcamp so I'd rather wait till I've been through it all before I ask any questions, if you don't mind.

Good Sunday Paul...my day for family and travel.
Just wanted to say I see you out here active in reading other's posts and comments.

Leads me to think about all things "cooking"

Came across A quote today that made sense in the context we have had conversations about:

“True friendship multiplies the good in life and divides its evils. Strive to have friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island... to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune; to keep him is a blessing.”

― Baltasar Gracian

Enjoy reading from your thoughts...post again soon, my friend

Hi, David.
And a very wonderful Sunday to you and family also.

What a nice surprise.

I'm not familiar with Baltasar Gracian, but there is obvious wisdom in his words. A quick look-up in wiki shows that he was the son of a doctor and in his childhood lived with his uncle who was a priest.

He lived his life as a Spanish Jesuit and baroque prose writer and philosopher.(Baroque is my favourite music to listen to). His writings were lauded by Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. WOW.

Apparently, he examined society from the standpoint of a savage and gave the clearest statement of his pessimistic philosophy with its emphasis on willpower and struggle.

Born: January 8, 1601
Died: December 6, 1658.

Definitely worth a further look. Thanks for the share, David.

On another note, I was doing some research on 'Retirement' and came across a philosophy on the subject from Japan.

They call it Ikigai (pronounced 'Icky Guy'). I have a post in the works.

I wish you a safe travel day with your family and look forward to hearing from you again. My day is going to be taken up with gardening.

Touch base soon.

Paul from Canada.

Paul,
I have visited your profile here from a comment you had written on Swangirls post regarding Anthony Bourdain which piqued my interest in learning more about you...and I am happy to say I did as much is explained about your manner of thinking in reading it's content.

My unprompted impression
I find you a most thorough individual on outset, an articulate
writer, a composed thinker.

Straightforward, enjoying a raw truth, a mind of the facts and
researched conclusions...seemingly these are your assets,to
enjoy...so good on you!

What I have not found written here however is a bio
that suggests your connection to the human fabric of family or
relationship, (a point puzzling only by merit of having read a
couple hundred member profiles where this is enjoyed as their
primary address to who they are in life) So, I will not pretend to
know you this way but would enjoy the balance of discovering
the complete picture, should you continue to share that here.

Finally, I hold your opinion of con artists in the same light but
remain unintimidated as they usually undo themselves by their
means of deceit... Such cleverness is a two edge sword

Blessings to you,Paul may you accomplish all that you aspire
toward, and may this help you shine brilliant!

Respectfully David

Hi, David.
Yours is positively, the best response I have received so far to anything that I have done or commented on here at Wealthy Affiliate.

As such, I would like to follow you with your thinking.

Anthony Bourdain was a brother to me.

The human fabric of family or 'About me' is found on the various websites that I am working on. One is 'the forensic affiliate' and the other is 'paul mindra.'

I also have another site in progress for 'IPTV'

I cannot write everything about myself here, because the platform is limited and is not probably a good idea. I am not even using facebook, linkedin, etc until I know that my profile will be safe.

The complete picture is coming soon, David. Just know that I am real by responding and that my intentions moving forward are genuine.

Thank you for holding my opinions and yes, a very sharp two edged sword.

Blessings back to you David.

I will accomplish want I want to accomplish if I want. Hopefully I will not get frustrated and take Anthony's route.

The World is right in front of me on my screen.

The control is also in front of me through my keypad and mouse.

Thank you, David.

Means very much to me here.

Kindest regards,

Paul.

Lol, Best advice I've ever heard...Should you find yourself in opposition with another, make every allowance for settling the difference, but first, Buy him a Steak!

I know that we will enjoy a strong bond of communication,Paul, for the words which have already been written... I stand grateful.

You are entitled as any of us in your strengths and weaknesses as we are all here on learning curve. Victory and defeat are fleeting and in their fading we are left at a crossroad. The process is what I enjoy most of life.

To Anthony..I am deeply moved by his passing, for I feel we
have lost a shining light. I can only imagine your feeling of loss.

Again with respect, David

I like your sense of humour.
It is always steak first. I like steak regardless of opposition or position.

You have an incredible talent, David. You know how to write and more importantly you know how to respond to keep the conversation going. That is one of the keys that unlock the Internet in your favour.

Please excuse the use of 'U' in some of my words. I was brought up in England where we were taught English in a certain way. I now live in Canada and we are still ruled by Her Majesty.

Welcome here, my new friend. Your entire future is held within you, your computer, and your willingness to adapt to the program.

Just make a 'Game' business plan.

I have mine. I started in May 2016 and I know that by 2020 I will rule on my own terms and conditions.

Wealthy Affiliate University allows me to do this. I hope it will allow the same for you.

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I have spent most of the day in the garden tending to my children that I will eventually eat. LOL.

It also helped me to deal with Anthony's passing. Any Chef in their 50's, 60's, 70's or 80's will completely understand the 'Band of Brothers' concept.

The industry has changed, much like most other things. I look forward to publishing 'The Forensic Affiliate' shortly and then 'Paul Mindra dot com' that is dedicated to my father who passed in 2013.

There is only so much that you can release to everyone and therein lies a fine line.

I am just ecstatic that our paths have crossed.

Trust is not formed through just a written resume but through the communication that results from it.

Have a wonderful day my new friend.

Kindest regards,

Paul.

We shall travel then, together you and I.

Like you, I appreciate the real and remain consistent in a believe that you get from life what you are willing to give, good or bad.

Its helpful to note for me, that you choose simple acts like gardening, to bring peace. Though I am quite sure the kitchen is where the real passion shines brilliant, digging in the dirt brings
the world of natural connection. this empowering roots of our respect and beliefs

Anyway,Paul, just a follow-up I like to do when I have had time to reflect on what was said yesterday...there was truly a lot of ground covered between us and I am honest to say, It has brought a solid hope and interest for future communications.

So we continue...

Have a "best" week ever, good sir. I will look to your posts

Well..it's a dream he has and they are very popular here..we have a food truck night to cater to the community's varied tastes. They do pretty well in our small town atmosphere. At least for now.

He has worked 'grunt' work for a restaurant and fast food. He prefers to be on the grill and not much with the public. Also works a manufacturing job at Nike currently. He has also aspired to do Sough

No...I'm doing this on my own. My son thinks I'm kooky building an online biz...I hope to stun both my son and my daughter. She seems to be a bit more open to the idea. She's a nuclear Navy officer for the US Military, driving a destroyer currently. Protecting our freedoms at home...proud Mama here!

Hi Paul,
I too have a deep and growing interest in Cryptocurrencies and will be creating a niche site once I feel comfortable in the field. I have been a member of WA since Feb 2016 and have a couple of websites.

My interest in the BLOCKCHAIN has led me down a new road and I am now taking 3 online courses from the University of Nicosia, Princeton and Linux. The more I learn the more I am sure BLOCKCHAIN will have as much or more impact on our lives as the internet itself. It is bringing trust back into finance, health, education and all aspects of our life.

Bitcoin is just the first use of the block chain and it is beginning to allow the unbanked to become involved in the financial life of the world.

Hope to hear from you soon and collaborate on learning more about the digital world, while helping others realize the potential of block chain plus taking advantage of investment opportunities.

I am thrilled that you have taken an interest in Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology. Everything you mention will occur. It is still very early in the game.

I got involved with Cryptocurrency in Mid 2016. I have done well with the volatility of Bitcoin.

Hi, Kevin.
Welcome and thank you for such a pleasant reply.
I started following you as a result of a reply you made to someone else.

I am very pleased to make your acquaintance.

Just like you, I have also seen and have been a 'victim' to many programs. Here at Wealthy Affiliate University, you are completely safe.

Start Free...stay as long as you like. Upgrade when you think the timing is right. "Learn" first and then remove the "L."

All up to you...but understand that you have not invested in WAU, you have invested in yourself...so no excuses or limitations to your future success. Wealthy Affiliate University provides everything that you need to navigate and master this new world.

Kevin,
Let me know where you are at as far as "tips" are concerned in your question so that I can assist to help you move forward. I cannot help you if I do not know where you are at.

I am going into my second year here and you know what?
I am still working on a couple of actual domains...and multiple subdomains (siterubix).

I love the siterubix program here with 25 free sites.
This in itself is very powerful as soon as we get over the learning curve that is provided within our most comprehensive training.

More on this later.

Again, I just want to thank the powers that are for making our paths cross.

Sent with respect and dignity in mind.

Paul.

Although my progress has been a bit slow, (It always takes me longer than the average person), I feel that I am comfortable enough about Wealthy Affiliate now to be able to write and promote in a responsible manner.

The 'BootCamp' tutorials have been incredible so far and I look forward to more every single day.

Again, I want to thank you for 'reaching out' and once again commend You, Carson and the rest of the WA Team for their most valued efforts.

Sent with Respect and Regards.

Hi, Leonila.
I am 'dead serious' about what Kyle & Carson are doing.
I have been here since May 03,2016 and to be honest with you, I have not done much to reflect on my achievements so far.

I have spent the first 6 months checking things (and people) out.
I am happy with my inquisitions.

I am not completely 100% sure of publishing my work so far...but I have my own reasons for that (I am a bit of a 'scared cat...LOL'

I want to thank you for stopping by to say hello and sharing your thoughts. I can confidently say that the education that I am receiving here regarding the 'Internet of Things' puts into perspective for me the 'Cost of Un-Education.'

I went yearly after going premium. I am involved for the rest of my life at $359.00 US (I am locked in). The Internet is not going to go away. I have now committed to the Internet through a 'Safe Haven...Wealthy Affiliate University.'

I am getting a university level education if I choose to attend the classes on a consistent basis. For less than a $1 a day all is good.

For me, there is no better place to be as I enter the final chapter in my life.

Feel free to converse with me at any time, and do not hesitate to use the Private Message feature offered here.

You are blessed as all those here at Wealthy Affiliate University.

Sent with my kindest regards,

Paul.

Greetings Paul,

Thanks very much for the Follow!
As a student of WA and college I really appreciate your attitude with regard to education.

Education should never end but for many I have known that is sadly not the case.

Regardless should you need a hand with anything feel free to drop me a note anytime, all my best to you Paul,

Thank you, Gary.

Actually, education never really ends, just our perception of education ends because most of us associate it with sitting in a classroom or classroom environment.

The Internet has changed the traditional concept of learning and has, to a great extent 'leveled' the field for those that do/did not have access to education.

I'll give you a personal example. My career has been that of a Professional Chef. Advancement in that profession was based on what each Chef knew. We all started at the same place. i.e. we wanted to be a Chef and had a desire to do so.

Some of us went to school to get the basic training. Other's like me, just 'jumped in' for the practical training and learned by doing through apprenticeships and working with well-established Chefs that were 'leaders' in the field.

In those days, we did not have instant access to 'How to make a consomme' or 'how to make puff pastry' for example. You were hired based on what you had in your head.

Today, 10-year-old kids have the capability of putting out what it took 20 years of experience to do in the past.

What I'm trying to say is that an individual can become 'anything' he or she wants and at any time in life they want. It just basically boils down to 'if they want to or not.' Is that not correct?

That is because of the access to education, especially in the 'Open Education Arena.' I'll give you another example: Google Khans Academy. Look at what's available there. If information like that were available 40 years ago, I wouldn't have struggled with my 'Calculus' classes LOL.

Regardless, sorry for such a long response, and yes, I will definitely drop you a note probably more often than you will expect.

I am very pleased to know you.

Kindest Regards,

Paul.

Paul,
I really could not do a better job of summing things up.

I so much agree regarding the education of the mind, it is an ongoing thing for most healthy folks.

Thanks so much for the tip on Google Khans Academy I will check them out. I am a full time student working on my degree, I have another math course to take and I do not do #'s well.
I managed a a high B somehow in my Business Math, but I am looking at College Algebra or Intro to Statistics
Ugh!!

My younger brother did 4 years at Johnson and Wales and became a Chef, for you to do so simply by accruing knowledge is a wonderful accomplishment you should be very proud of.

I fully understand the lack of technology back in the day, I still recall my 1st PC and going online around 1991. My how things have changed and the internet is truly a 2 way street.

Paul thanks again for sharing, if you need anything at all drop me a note, I would be happy to help out.

Also pleased to know you,

O.K. Gary.

I think you have a good grasp.

Should Education be Free or almost Free?

I ask in a selfish manner as my website will be dedicated to 'Free' or almost 'Free.'

Paul.
Reply
GFHaze Premium
I suppose the answer to that question would have a lot to do with how one feels about socialism.

If education comes without cost will it still have value?
Also would this force educators to take cuts in salary so the government can afford paying them?

I have even heard the selfish logic of why should kids now get free education when I had to pay and pay for student loans etc.

I am all for education, this education here at WA costs monthly but is privately controlled.

I trust you are only talking accredited learning institutions for your website with a .edu?

I will be interested in seeing what you come up with Paul, so be sure to let me know when you publish.

All my best,

Gary

Thank you Paul for the follow and many blessings to you here at WA. If you need any help remember to post your question in the comments section or on live chat, and someone will be able to help you.

I created a short but informative training tutorial for all New Members that tell you what you can do here at WA and most importantly give you a link to the RULES of WA and what you cannot do here. If you have the time or wish to, please check out the rest of my training (Bottom Right Blue Button) on my profile page. I explain ways to help you build a better website, ways to make some extra $$$ with your WA training, and best practices here at WA. I also post a humorous blog on first Sunday of every month. Enjoy!

Hi, Rika.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your network by replying and commenting.

Rest assured that as long as the WA platform and my PC and Internet are working, any communication you send directed to me will be responded to.

All these emails, comments and such may seem to be a bit of a nuisance in the beginning and may also be overwhelming.

There is a reason that you should actively participate. It is practice for the future.

Eventually, we will get to a place where we have our websites up and running generating traffic with 'Comments' enabled.

If at that point we do not respond to each and every correspondence then we have done ourselves a major disservice and all of our efforts 'fly' out the window.

Most of your questions can be answered by using the toolbar and search functions that are provided.

Most importantly, it is important to realize that the training is step-by-step. From personal experience, I wasted a couple of months by thinking that I could do everything on my own by not following instructions. Try not to make my mistake.

We are one of the most loyal, trusted and closely knit communities on this planet and you will make many life-long friends, acquaintances, and business relationships here.

Over and out for now.

To your success.

Paul.

Hi Shawn,
I just visited both sites.
They look, feel and read really well.

To give you a completely objective opinion, I'm going to take some quiet time and go over them with a fine tooth comb, if you don't mind.

The Sleep Apnea site is full of 'the right stuff." Have you thought about a newsletter or subscriber type approach. On my initial visit, I did not see anything of that nature.

If I missed it, I'll find it. If it's not there then it is some food for thought for you while I review your sites.

Kindest regards and have a pleasant evening. I'm knocking off for the day to catch a few innings of the Jay's game.

Cheers.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for taking the time to look over my sites! I don't mind it at all, in fact I appreciate having another set of eyes to review my sites.

I did have SumoMe installed on my sleep apnea site at one point, but I didn't like the ads that were being displayed. I'm not really sure of a newsletter at this point. I've never done anything like that before and don't consider myself to be a strong writer. I wouldn't mind doing that at some point, but just haven't figured out what I would put in a newsletter.

So you're a Jays fan as well. Good to see! Donaldson had a couple more home runs last night. I hope Tulowitzski isn't out for very long.

Thanks again Paul for your assistance.

Shawn

This is a wonderful community. What I had to do was unlearn some of the things I learned the wrong way, when I had joined many different online money making scams. And now, I follow each lesson exactly as instructed. And do each lesson's tasks. Not making any money yet, but I won't be taught to scam anyone. This is a very ethical and honest program.

If the green button says: Unfollow - it means you are following that person. It does seem backwards to me but what it is showing is what you would be doing, if you click the button. If you click it when it says: unfollow, then you will be unfollowing that person.

I am now following you.

Wishing you all the best.

Hey Paul,

When they take the MRI for the Arthritis, the end result may be taking anti-inflammatory meds (either injection or oral). Make sure the ENT knows about that, it may affect your upper respiratory tract.

Heck it might even reduce the tissues and surgery may become mute.

Keep me updated.

I tried writing to you, see below but the entire content of what I wrote just vanished.

I was distinguishing between 'Homoeopathy' and 'Homeopathy' and trying to tie in Homotoxicology.

My father, recently departed devoted over half of his life to same.

Not sure what happened, but seems like my post was 'hijacked.'

No worries, hope something is learned from it.

Peace.

Paul.

No, homeopathic medicine is on the upswing. I agree with getting back to nature and getting away from synthetic based meds.

Do what is best my friend and take care.
Reply
PMindra Premium
Again Greg, the distinction is Homo as opposed to Home.

I had many discussions with my dad and he did come to the realization that the term should be 'HOMO' meaning homoeopathy as opposed to homeopathy.

One is 'Quack,' the other is complete 'Quack.'

Now border either with homotoxicology.

Homotoxicology is the science of toxins and their removal within the human body. It offers a theory of disease which describes the severity and duration of an illness or disorder based on toxin-loading relative to our body's ability to detoxify.

You no longer need to reply if my communication has become redundant.

As far as 'Cortisone,' is concerned, yes I am completely familiar.

In my high school and university years, cortisone was the norm for any athlete that had a future. In my case however, the cortisone 'hid' a problem with my Achillies until it exploded.

Back then it was not 'microspocpic' surgery. It meant a 13-16 inch incision and the re-development of the tendon using 'Goodyear' rubber.

Just want to elevate this discussion other than 'Thank you.'

Defer to PM if you would like, because there is much value here with what you have to offer.

Thank you my friend.

Kindest regards,

Paul.

I completely agree. The overload of prescriptions to and for whatever condition has become the protocol. Unfortunate as it is, the reality exists. The body (liver) can only process and eliminate so much causing "back-up" and eventual failure.

The medical industry needs to employ more idiopathophysiology (individual treatment for individuals themselves) rather than trying to place them all in generic treatment protocols. This is where the toxins start.

In my stint as a Paramedic, it would not be uncommon to pick up a patient with a gallon bag full of their meds.

Your Dad is a smart one. We need more in the field like him.

All the best,

Greg
