I have had it resent a couple of times and have not gotten it so I can't verify. I set the site up yesterday and never got any email.

Scott are you referring to Domain registration. You might check the junk file

yup! Checked all the folders no email from them!

You might think about contacting site support then

OK!

I choose a pretty tough niche in electronics. I am doing the getting started lessons. I am starting lesson 9. I have about 37 keywords, my site set up and have been following t

"Most of those guys would be the affiliate programs I would promote". I would say these are not your competition. You will promote them from your angle and people will like to hear some extra opinion about these big guys.

I do not think there is such thing as a low competition niche.

I understand, my point is there is probably no way I am going to beat them out for a page 1 ranking. I feel the best ranking I can hope for is page 2 or 3. Most of page 2 is covered with the big guys. Would that be good enough or is it possible to get ranked over them on page 1?

I have posts ranked in front of Wikipedia and some huge authority sites.

Cool! Guess I just have to be super good when writing out my content!

I have decided to go into the electronics and technology niche. I know it is huge but like Kyle says you can do well in any niche if you do it right. I have narrowed it down to

I would say both, choose a product to promote(and if you can earn commission from that even better) and also do product reviews on similar products, like that you become an authority in that niche...good luck!

Yes, you are right in the the electronics niche is huge.
Actually, it is probably more like 100's of niches so again you are correct about breaking that down quite a bit

As Kyle says, if you do it right, and doing it right consists of narrowing things down.
.
Going too broad is the kiss of death and it will be difficult for you to establish authority, get rankings and ultimately, make money, been there, done that, couldn't afford the T-shirt.

For example, in the electronics niche, I have seen sites on things like iphone cases, audio cables and fitbit watches,

Here is a tutorial on how to break down a niche Once you have a list of possible niches, it is time to do your niche research and keyword research, as you seem to already have done some of that.

In google, search for: yournicheidea + blog and look at all the other blogs on the first couple of pages to see what your competition is doing.

Doing that will give you a lot of ideas on what you could possibly do on your site and will educate you on that particular niche so that you are not going blindly into your niche

Here is a tutorial that can also help you with this Also, here is another tutorial that is very helpful in doing keyword research Remember, focus on creating helpful, informative content including "how to" articles, reviews, informational articles etc so you would be building authority and trust within your niche and then the money part would naturally become a byproduct of that.

Sorry that this is so long but, you know what they say about teaching someone to fish and all of that :)

Good luck

No problem on the length of your reply, good info. I am going to read all of those tuts. Think i did the KW tut but will probably do it again. I want to get going. I know I need to learn some things but I don't want to get into read, read, read! Been there, done that! you get to the point where one tut leads to another and all you do is read and not take action. I got to the point where I didn't think I knew enough and kept on reading looking for something that was going to put me over the top!

My niche is a product for a specific group of people. Several brands and I can get a buy a.... dot com which would be a keyword domain name.

Yes, you are right.
Some people struggle to come up with a niche but once you do, do some niche and keyword research then focus on the step by step training in the order given and keep moving forward.

I think concentrating on one brand would be a bit limiting. One type of product maybe but not a single brand.

I think if you concentrate on a single brand you are limiting your audience.

This is right. I will probably go with a review/comparison blog

I have about 5 websites hosted at Godaddy I am not even doing anything with them but I got some good names and don't want to give them up. I will probably do something with at

if I point the Godaddy websites to WA with the nameservers do I still have to maintain my hosting there. Also will the wordpress move here too? I don't care about any content I have on them.

Your hosting here is included in your Premium membership, and if you don't need the content then it will be easy to set up your wordpress again. And no, once you have moved your hosting you can cancel your GoDaddy hosting, but do remember to renew your domain each year!
But if you do want to keep your content, make sure you back it up using WPClone plugin which makes it really easy to move content from one site to another! :)

You can buy your domains at WA also?

Certainly, that is really easy too. I am sure that is covered in the starter training.
Just go to Siterubix and click on "domains" :)

Here is some training which may help you:

I would suggest buying your new Domains here. Yes you can move your Domains here.
