Is Google Feedburner still necessary, relevant, worthwhile to use?
it is relevant and necessary if your niche is heavy on newsletters. You can do the same thing and much more with the free version of MadMimi email responder. https://madmimi.com
I have training for the Feedburner on my training page if you want it.

Although WA directly builds sites using WP, has anyone wrote product reviews about other blog platforms on their website? Just wondering if it's a good idea (or not).
I don't see why not. Although I am not familiar with many other platforms beside WP. Is Joomla a blogged platform? I looked at Joomla before and I was totally confused by it...
I have not, but I have seen it done, also it appears form the answers here, you can affiliate that....
That would be interesting. I sorta have I think? At least I have mentioned it...no I haven't because WA is the only one so far that I have reviewed that had one. So I guess that is a great idea.
Tried and true
Elaine
Good question and I see others recommend it. I would like to know more about how to do this to monetize as well.
Thanks for this post Phoeby.
Yes I have. I signed up as an Affiliate for each. Obviously WA got the better review.
As Kyle says, never leave money on the table.

In my product reviews, I'd like to include others' reviews/ratings of the same product.
Where can I find well-recognized, top product reviewers? For example, when I think o
You can find other bloggers you respect who are in the same niche, and approach them about doing reviews. Depending on the deal, you may get the chance to trade articles, get their review for free (just a backlink) or you may have to pay them for the review. Focus on your reviews first though, to build your credibility, before you start sharing the power of your site with someone else.
I think sending them off to reputable sources such as government sites can add credibility to your posts and articles but generally speaking longer you can keep them on your site the better. I know personally seeing links to reputable sources sometimes instantly gives me a warm fuzzy about the information on the site it legit.
I would be careful re-directing possible customers outside your domain.
Once you have them at your site you want to try and keep them there don't you?
Mick
I have found that pointing people to more information usually builds loyal readers. When I do this I don't point people off my site until they have read an article.
Start with trade magazines in your niche. Find out the people who are influencers.
Use BuzzSumo to find who is getting the most shares on Twitter, etc.
You can also use advanced Google operators inurl: or allinurl: for the word "review" (without quotes) coupled with the influencers names to see if you find any matches that way.
So, if John Doe was an influencer in the pottery field, you could try the following Google search:
pottery reviews "John Doe" inurl:review
You could use variations such as the product name itself, etc.
Best Regards,
Jim
Here are a list of notable reviewers on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/review/top-reviewers
After you've reviewed a certain number of products and become credible as a person who helps make informed reviews, Amazon adds you to their ranking. Hopefully this helps.
Good question. I don't know the answer, but have you tried searching "(your product) reviews" or "(your product) product reviews." Just an idea for you. Hope you find some good reviews.
This is going to be so not helpful - I simply look for the niche profile on google searches. And then hit multiple sites to see how much is "manufactured" versus not. If you are going into product sales specifically there is always amazon
I do agree - but it allows you to see whether a product has enough reviews to warrant some value. Like I said, I'm not certain that I would be giving you the best advice - so this one is worth about a cent's worth - not two. :)
