What happens if you upgrade to premium plus during an annual premium membership? Do you get a prorated membership? Do you get extended time in the membership? What happens?

Some good answers here Tiffany! Best success to you, going forward!

Jeff

Thanks!

You're welcome!

Hi, when clicking upgrade to PP+ and depending your options, it will work out how much credit you have and the price will be prorated.

If yearly, it will deduct whatever value from $795 and you pay the difference.

If monthly, it would give you many days free you have before you monthly at $99

Now if are subscribed to Jaaxy Pro, you need cancel before you upgrade.

In future, if you decide to downgrade, you can go back to your previous plan i.e. whether the full price, BF sale or grandfathered depending, however am not yet sure on one thing.

Would they give me back my Jaaxy Pro that some folks pay $19 or they would charge me $49 -- And if I do not want any, am stuck with the Lite Plan.

This last point need clarification.

Hope you find this answer helpful, should you require something else, kindly let me know.

Hope this answer finds you well and that you are enjoying a blessed Sunday.

Thanks so much AbieAJ! You definitely helped with your answers.

I could have answered via PM, but I chose to write it above, as it may be beneficial to someone else who's looking for an answer.

And you are so very welcome.

I agree. Thanks for doing that.

Just to clarify, Abie & AJ's reply is correct, except for BF members, as the system is not automatically prorating these. Carson has mentioned that this will be coming later this week, but in the meantime, they will extend your current expiry date by 1 year upon paying the full $795 offer price.

Ok. Thanks.

Makes sense. Do you know anything about if someone cancelled their special offer $19 Jaxxy Pro, upgraded to PP+ and later downgraded. Can they still retain that right, or they have to pay the full $49.

It isn't clear to me. Thank you.

I'm not sure Abie & AJ, sorry, all I know is that your WA Yearly plan that you are grandfathered into will still be honoured in the future when/if you ever downgrade. The fact that there is no noise at all about the $19 Jaaxy Pro, I think it will be at the new $49 price point. I believe they are only honouring yearly plans.

Great answers below.

So I joined in May and when I went to look at yearly it looks like it discounts me till November next year. So its a good deal but I have not clicked through yet based on feedback that it is not quite ready. Any feedback welcome as the discount only last for a few more days. I presume come next November I would go up to the usual plus fee but that would give me a year. Phil

I'm a little confused on this one Phil, are you on the May BF Offer ($299)? When you say it is discounted until November, are you seeing a prorata credit applied to the $795 for your remaining time on your current yearly plan? I have just replied to Edwin, below, if you want to take a look :-)

Great yes that is helpful - its showing as per below...so I joined in May this year so my account would say for upgrading for a year I get a discount for diving into plus now and then my account works out what I would save going yearly early and accounts for that so :

November 2020 till November 2021

Order Summary

Premium Plus+ Yearly

Renews at $795 yearly

$795

Current Billing Unused Time

-$247.00

Total

$548

Does that seem right, it looks right...

Ahh ok, you must be on the regular $495 plan to receive a 6 month credit of $247, and not the BF plan. Looks like you missed out on BF by about 2 weeks :-( That will explain why the prorata is working for yourself and Abie & AJ, as neither of you were on the BF offer. I have just checked mine and it still isn't being prorated. For yourself, if you upgraded today, you would in fact only end up paying $45 per month for a whole years worth of access, and it would then auto-renew at $795 this time next year.

Great thanks yes that is what was confusing me, that makes sense now and very good value for the year...I really appreciate your help I am normally good with this stuff but got totally confused! I owe you one..Phil

Thanks Phil for sharing your experience!

No worries and you're welcome :-)

That's ok sorry if I hijacked your post.. it is useful though so thankyou...

It's supposed to be prorated if you go from Premium Yearly to Premium Plus+ Yearly, although this is not working at the moment, and for a lot of members, although there is one member, AbieAJ, that it has worked for, so you might want to ask them. But according to another member that Carson messaged recently, this feature will not be rolled out for a couple of weeks. In the meantime, your renewal date will be extended by 1 year, meaning that it is an awesome discount ;-) I would check with Kyle/Carson first though, as I have only just heard this. As the last I heard from Carson, is that the prorata should be working, and that he was looking into it.

However, if you want to go from Premium Yearly to Premium Plus+ Monthly, you will have X Days Free, in effect, and this is working and you can see your duration on the Upgrade page. For example, my renewal is the 2nd May 2021, but of I went PP+ Monthly, I would have it free until the 26th January 2021, before paying $99 per month, as it eats into your credit twice as fast as it's twice as expensive. But this is also a great deal if you are on the BF Offer, as it is time-based and not monetary based. I.e. my renewal will change from 6 months time to 3 months time.

Thanks Christopher! I really appreciate you responding to my question. I'll check with the people you've referenced to find out about their experiences. I have a referral who is concerned about this, and I want to make sure I give them the most accurate info.

Thanks so much Chrystopher!

The only reason that I am not going to go PP+ Monthly, is because I do not want to lose access to the Yearly Only Training, such as the one below, and others. So I am awaiting for the official word about Yearly to Yearly, as one member who has upgraded lost their remaining time and their renewal is now showing as 6th November 2021, unless this has been corrected manually by Kyle/Carson.

Yes, I've made yearly only training also. That's an interesting dilemma. I wonder if the trainers have the option to modify the access. I'll have to look into that.

Do you have a link to the message Carson posted?

Thanks for this tip Chrystopher. Is there a link to access Courses for Yearly Premium members provided by other Super Affiliates and Experienced Members?

I have a question regarding my $299 Premium special I got last May. Since I already had a yearly $359 subscription I purchased in March, this was grandfathered to give me a renewal date of March 20. 2022. I am concerned that if I upgrade to Premium + before this Special expires I will screw up my current deal.

When I entered an upgrade application at the monthly rate, WA gave me a grace period of 88 days after which I would be billed $99 monthly.

When I entered an upgrade application for the yearly rate on the surface it appears I will get billed $795 right away and renewed annually. AbieAJ stated when she took this option her initial fee was prorated down to $595 to take into account her $299 subscription. Then the annual renewal will be $795.

On the surface the annual subscription of $795 is good since that averages out to $66.25 month. In my case where I have Premium till March 2022, I feel like I will be leaving money on the table.

What do you think? Perhaps I should ask Kyle? I am afraid to fill in the yearly application for Premium + because once I click Pay. there will be no option to go back and change it.

What do you think?

Edwin

I completely agree Edwin. However, are you sure that your current renewal is March 2022, as the 88 days sound like it is actually May 2021. It would be great if you could confirm this, because if it is only 88 days, and you feel it should be March 2022, then going Monthly would be a very bad deal for you.

The Premium Yearly to Premium Plus Yearly is still up in the air. The Upgrade page states $795, and it is not prorated and it does not state that 1 year will be added on to our current expiry.

I know of one member that has upgraded and their renewal date is now November 2021, meaning they have lost their remaining time. I haven't heard if this has been resolved just yet.

Abie & AJ are the only members that I am aware of that have received a prorated payment.

My last conversation with Carson in Live Chat a few days ago, was that it should be prorated yes, and that he was going to look into my account. I haven't heard anything just yet, and I have also added it to the bug list, with screenshots.

Another member messaged me last night, to state that Carson's reply via PM was that no, prorata is not in place at the moment, but that it will be coming within about 2 weeks. He then went on to say that if you upgrade before prorata is available, that your remaining subscription would be upgraded to PP+ free of charge, and then 1 year would be added on to the end.

This particular member renewed this year in September, meaning if they upgrade today and pay $795, they wouldn't have to pay $795 again until September 2022. That's a pretty sweet deal ;-)

If I were to do the same, my current renewal is May 2021, meaning I wouldn't have to pay $795 again until May 2022.

It would be great if this information was clarified and made public by Kyle or Carson, as I am only going on PM's that were not sent to myself (even though I have seen a screenshot), and on two other members who both have different outcomes.

It's all very confusing and I am therefore remaining as BF Premium Yearly until I know more, but we only have 2 days left at the $795 rate :-(

I have a referral who wants to know whether or not he'll lose access to anything on the platform if he cancels his rebill date prior to the next payment coming up. I don't pers

He will get everything he's paid for but it will all go offline for him on the renewal date if they have not paid for a new subscription. Also if paying annually they will not be entitled to their former locked in rate so if they subscribed yearly last year then they will pay $100 more a year if the pay by the year again at a later date.

Great point!

This is what Kyle stated on this.:

"This is a question we get fairly often, so I thought I would spend a minute offering some clarity on how hosting works when you cancel.

If you decide to cancel your membership, your hosting will be turned off immediately upon your date in which your premium is cut off."

Pretty definitive to me.!!

Trust all is well Tiffany!!;

R,.

Thanks for clarifying all that for us.

That's true that hosting ends but only when "your premium is cut off" - and premium doesn't "cut off" until the end of the billing period which has been paid for.

Welcome Rick!

Thanks.

You are most welcome my lady!! ;

No they don't. If they cancel they will have access to the WA up until the time of their renewal date.

Thanks Leo! I thought so, but I don't want to mislead someone when there's something I'm not confident about.

I get it, I do the same thing. I want to be sure. It also applies to monthly members as well.

Thanks again.

Good to know. Thanks for the answers!!

Many great answers. With such a great savings, everyone should be on Annual if it fits into their budget.

One of my starter referrals says they only have a Welcome template in their Site Content dashboard. Have you heard of this? Don't all members get the affiliate disclosure, abou

I remembered there are some templates I could use when I was a starter member, otherwise I didn't know what to write and how to organize.

Thanks Manie!

I believe they do.

Thanks. You’re right.

You are very welcome

Tiffany, they are supposed to unless they are working on them and revising some of it.

Laura

Hmmmm. This is strange. I'm thinking maybe they're in the wrong area looking for the templates? Hopefully, we can navigate this. Thanks for responding Laura.

You are welcome. Hope you get this worked out. Can they send a screen shot of where they are looking for it.

Laura

They figured it out now. I’ll ask how they navigated it.

Way to go. Good news.

Laura

Thanks Laura!

Yeah I think they should have privacy policy and affiliate disclosure at least. Maybe have them contact support?

Yes, I agree. At the Starter level, they don't have support access, so I'm trying to help him figure it out.

I've been reading about the trap of getting stuck in a circle of always chasing pageviews. It tends to happen alot when you're monetizing with ads, but it can also happen with

Tiffany I was once thought that 50,000 valuable visitors to your site will give you a steady income, but there are other factors goes with that, as you stated you can have less visitors with higher income or spending power. as you know page views is not products bought or money spent, but you still have to get that views in order for that product to sell right?
The most important thing is I learnt and take away from that lesson is, what ever product you're promoting you have to have it in front the people who really needs it.
That will sure raise your income rate with less views, I know you get the drift.
So 50,000 Valuable Visitors having the correct product in-front of them can be better than 100,000 that mostly just viewing instead of buying.

I completely agree with that Earl! I just like those channels who are doing nursery rhymes for kids and getting millions of views, but little to no sales. They don't have a buying audience. I agree the audience and buying power is important.

You know as you mention about buying audience! For my facebook business account, I only request or accept friends from buyers group, to add to your point, you sure know why I do that.

I guess one of the pertinent points of that question is what would be a full time income Tiffany?

A marketer operating from a third world country could make a relatively fantastic income from say 500,000 page views from a western country than the other way around when you consider the relative spending power and cost of living in each regions.

That's one of the crazy things about this whole internet thing, we aren't bound by geographical limitations, only our own.

It reminds me of Nathaniell's bio and the opening paragraph from it which I reproduce here....

"I started internet marketing while living in China. The idea was that I could make American money while in China, and live like a King. I could make money in different time zones and, and essentially have cash flow 24/7. I didn't realize then how well it would work."

I know that doesn't particularly answer your question Tiffany but it does illustrate my own thought that everything in life is relative and comparative to something else.

Mark

I agree Mark. I know it's relative, but it would be nice to give a general answer, and I wanted to hear opinions about what that would be.

You and others have brought up about the differences in buying power, and I agree with that. I've also seen ad companies who pay less for different regions than others, and it's cheaper to pay for ads in other regions, so you're absolutely right.

I consider a full-time income in the US to be $3000+ because I think it's comparable to what jobs would give for a low to middle class standard of living. California and New York might need a little more for middle class living, but $3000 would be doable.

As I'm not an adsense user, or similar network, I don't have an answer but here's a grab of something you might find informative.....hope it helps!
Mark

That's fantastic information, Mark!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, you're welcome.
Mark

That’s a cool general guideline. Of course, the site would have to be optimized well and the products and services that are being sold matters too: in terms of relevance, price, and demand. That’s a good general guideline though. Thanks Mark!

No worries Tiffany, any time!

Mark

You really don't need many IF they are all buyers, but it's like fishing, you can spend hours on the water and get nothing and other days 10 minutes and get a fish. What counts is to know why you are not catching fish and not worry about the page views.

Great advice!

would think that the ratio of page views to sales conversions would provide what you're looking for when it comes to earned income.

Case I point, I get an average of 1900 hits on one photograph image viewed Per Month.

Yet no sales....

The number of hits, pretty good...conversions, zero.

Thats a problem...

So, in essence, pageview counting i good to see how many, but unless they convert to sales, don't quit your day job just yet...grin.

I agree Rudy. Once you get the pageviews, conversion optimization should solve the second problem of converting the interest into sales.
