I'm a Lifestyle Activist and Internet Marketer at KOHA Inc. Lifestyle Improvement and Media Company. I help people with life hacks to improve in relationships, businesses, and person development.

Since I joined WA, I've chosen to breakup my non-niche-specific lifestyle blog into several niche blogs in hopes that the audience will appreciate the brand portfolio better that way. My sites are:

Personal site (author and speaker) - Tiffanydomena.com
My main business site - kohainc.org
Personal Finance: Money Growing Mom - moneygrowingmom.com
Entrepreneurship: How To Entrepreneur - howtoentrepreneur.org [the one I work on daily]
Healthy Living - Nutrition and Fitness: Healthy Living Mom - healthylivingmom.org
Christian Lifestyle and Bible Study - www.kingdomofheavenambassador.com
Emergency Preparedness, Survival Training, and Video Gaming (will be run by my 10-year old) - www.survivalgamer.org

My goal is to create a full time income for myself thru my blogs - replacing my freelance income no later than July 2018 (6 months after joining WA), and I can't wait to give away some great jobs! I imagine that I will keep my hands full (especially before I get help).

I plan to work 40 hours or more per week (in between my kids schedule) since I'm a stay home mom. I work during naps and stay up late because that's how bad I want this.

I do make a full time income from home now thru freelancing but I'm scaling back to take this journey by the reigns. I'd like to convert the majority of my income to affiliate marketing, ad revenue, and digital product sales.

The worse case scenario is that I try, right?

I'd love if you stop by my sites, follow my journey, I'll be posting all my strategies for success in each niche on their niche specific blogs. I'm guessing most people will be interested in how I take my business full time within the next 6 months, and it's likely those strategies will be posted mostly on www.tiffanydomena.com and www.howtoentrepreneur.org.

I look forward to connecting and encouraging one another along the way. To your success,

Tiffany Domena

My original post said I wanted to replace my freelance income within 6 months of joining Wealthy Affiliate and that did not happen. It may be possible for some, but it wasn't possible for me. Instead, I put my best effort forward, made a lot of mistakes (many I didn't realize until people in the community pointed them out) and now, it's been one year and I'm still working towards my full-time income.

I know how some of you feel that have been working at this and feel like you're not getting the exact results you want. The reality here is....

It was my fault.

My biggest mistakes so far were:
Dividing my time on too many sites
Dividing my time between too many offered services (creating content, managing SEO for others, doing web design, doing logos here and there, etc.)
and, Not honing in on a narrow enough niche

I realized affiliate marketing is a career field of its own and if I want it to work, I need to focus on it for now. Otherwise, if I continue to balance marketing as a whole, it'll take me longer to get results in affiliate marketing

This career field is much more complex than I originally gave it credit for. I thought my background (mostly in social media marketing online, digital book publishing, and with basic Wordpress tech skills) was sufficient to translate into SEO, and it wasn't.

Starting about 3-4 months into this journey, I decided to stop dividing my time on all of the various sites, and I started focusing on one. If you visit any of those, you'll notice a basic site structure, but only 10 or less posts (aside from the blog I had before joining here).

In my first year, I was publishing just about daily. In total, I was able to publish nearly 300 posts (when you combine all of the sites) and 250 posts on the one I decided to focus on. I wrote nearly 600,000 words and got up to 3000 pageviews/mo. I know that may not be that exciting for some people, but I want to be transparent about the work it has taken me thus far in the Entrepreneurship niche which is a lifestyle niche.

I was able to make nearly $1000 thru affiliate marketing, but my priorities still clashed quite a bit since I was doing local speaking, live networking, tending to my kids, managing my home, and offering marketing services.

My goal is to build an authority site in a broad lifestyle niche (entrepreneurship) and in my first year, I still didn't realize an exact strategy of how to hone in to create that result (even if I plan to branch out later).

Now things are different.

My husband has agreed that instead of balancing the freelance work, the family, and blogging, that I can work on blogging and the family. That's a big pay cut (a full-time income pay cut).

I'm grateful for his support, and I've been working every day from 8AM-530PM blogging since January 2019. I enjoy being available and present for my family and having my profession. I want both. I want to be impactful helping others using my skills in the community as well as in the home.

Prayerfully, I'll achieve my full-time income from affiliate marketing soon. It's truly my favorite way to make money even though I've made enough money from home freelancing to cover my middle-class lifestyle. I truly prefer affiliate marketing over a service-based business (especially since my husband has one and we have young kids). I'm committed to sticking with affiliate marketing, then adding additional income streams from there.

I'm now at 19 months of working on my website. It's funny how things have evolved since I came here (great decision, by the way!). Now, I haven't paid any attention to those original sites in nearly one year with the exception of the one that's currently bringing me almost a full-time income from affiliate sales--that's howtoentrepreneur.org.

I'm very close to earning 100% of my full-time income from affiliate sales alone. I've been shooting for $5000/mo in sales and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's crazy how website growth goes after the first year. At first, I felt like I was creating content for myself and a few crickets, but now, I'm having lots of people watching and listening to the content I'm creating and it continues to increase.

I started recording case studies of different experiments I'm trying and many of them are working very well. I also started recording updates with my journey. I started these video case studies at 15 months and I plan to do this monthly at least until I'm full-time. Your goals are totally realistic and when you achieve the first one, it will be just a matter of scaling to reach the second one. The Internet works wonderful when you have your formula for success down which you are going to be getting from the training here at WA.

Once you get this formula down the sky is truly the limit Tiffany! I look forward to working with you and seeing you make your goals a reality. :)

I am super excited to learn from everyone here on WA and start listening to how I can become an amazing affiliate. I know for a fact that anyone who has the right motivation, substantial amount of time, the right confidence, and goals set in place can accomplish anything in life. Thank you for sharing your goals. :)

Hi Tiffany, I'm touched by you being sincere about what happened, you owned up to why it happened and you presented your plan to get back on track. You said "it was my fault", you owned it, it's hard to admit that - publicly. "We fall down but we get up....." I'm inspired. I'm following you starting now, many blessings and great success!

Thanks so much Beverly. I don't expect to live or portray a perfect life. There's enough people doing that. Hahaha. I'm much happier when I can be honest about being me: faults and all.

I look forward to getting to know you better. If you enjoyed my bio, you might also like my video case studies where I share my learning lessons, income and traffic growth. You can find them in my "training" tab if you're interested.

Thanks for the follow. I know what you mean by spreading yourself too thin. I have done that in the past as well. This guy once told me that you will never catch any chickens if don't put your focus on one. I will be looking for your upcoming training and results in your PPC campaign. Have an awesome day!!!

Thanks for your support Louis! I have quite a bit of training already. Maybe some things I’ve already done might interest you. My most popular trainings are my monthly site case studies, my business planning series, and my high ticket sales series.

Hello Tiffany,
I am having trouble transporting what I write from my Word content to my Website using my mouse. I cannot configure the Page or Post well, that is, I cannot format the content well once I transport it. I must communicate that this happens to me after updating the Plugins. Please, can you help me?
Thanks so much

Hello Tiffany,
Thank you for the brief interactions we have shared but I want to give you a little more insight on my goals so my questions could be easier to respond to.
My goal is to create a blog based on healthy eating. I plan to teach others how to eat intuitively and not how to painfully diet!
I have a little bit of a dilemma because I currently have not been able to work due to some chronic illness. My work is very limited, right now I am doing delivery through apps like postmates and instacart and such. currently, I am trying to make enough through those delivery apps to buy a domain and hopefully get the limited time offer deal so I can get full access.
This means money is very limited and currently very low. I am currently living with my mom, I was in college and had a rough exit so I had to move back in with my mom.

so initially, my goal was to try and make a couple hundred in the first month because I have all the time in the world right now reinvest it and then work towards making it a full-time income.
but as I do research, I get super discouraged because no one approaches it that way.
So in your opinion, do you think it is possible for me to make enough profit in the first month to then reinvest it and actually work to scale it to a full-time income?
thank you for your time!

Thanks for sharing so much backstory with me! I think SEO wouldn't be the right marketing strategy to expect results like that. Maybe you could generate those types of results doing cold calling, cold email, or social media (if you have a following), but if you're starting with a small social circle, a low budget, and without the skills, then that's not a reasonable expectation for most people.

There could be anomalies, but I like to forecast conservatively. Regardless of business type, you typically wouldn't expect those types of results especially if you're starting without money, without the marketing skills, and without much time.

I'm not sure if you'd learn how to put everything into practice in one month--most people have a longer learning curve than that. Technically speaking, if you write an article today using SEO, you shouldn't expect to start driving traffic from it until February next year. In order to make profit from that article, you'd have to write on a high demand and low supply topic, and the monetization would have to be calculated very well to ensure the numbers make sense.

For example, if the article that you write drives 1000 visitors/mo 6 months from now, it's unlikely that more than 10% would buy, so you'd need a high ticket offer or higher traffic volume. Even then, since you're just starting out without the training, it would be a learning curve. To make a long story short, the first month expectation isn't really reasonable with a low-budget startup because you're relying on free traffic. It would be an anomaly online or offline to start a business with that expectation.

Hi Tiffany,
Thanks for the follow. Reading your story, I was intrigued. Despite the struggles encountered, you press on. I just joined yesterday and have been amazed my the gut-honesty from people like you. I intend to keep my day job until my website (started 8 months ago) successfully launches. My niche was born from my passion - CBD (hemp oil). I started using it over a year ago as a healthier alternative to opiates to treat my arthritic lower back.

Here I am over a year later and I no longer wake up with debilitating inflammation that for years has limited my physical ability to perform even the simplest of tasks. This passion moved me to share the therapeutic wonders of this product with others.

The truth: I want to earn a "full-time" income with this business yet, I get more gratification seeing others benefit from the product.

All that said, I want to be more than a follower of your's, I want to be able to call on you for advise as I respect your years of experience & understanding in Network Marketing.

That's a very cool story. I'm a definite believer in alternative medicine. I feel honored to be thought of so highly by you. Thanks for that. My experience is not in network marketing, but in marketing (with specializations in online marketing and promo product advertising), but if you need help, send a PM, and I'll do my best. I'm not big on relationships that aren't for mutual benefit, so I typically ask for something in return that benefits my business when people ask for favors.
The content I give that you can access is in my training tab (including training on High Ticket sales, Business planning, and my video case studies)--that's probably the best place to start. I look forward to getting to know you better.
