Hi,
Well, I've been off the radar for quite a few months. My properties in the Caribbean have been sold and I'm ready to return to work.
I received an email abou
Generate Press One is simply a bundle of their premium theme and their entire suite of plugins. I have used Generate Press Premium in the past and it is a great theme.
Hi Mary-Elle.
I'm sorry to be so late in responding.
Ok, that sounds great. I think I'll get this. Thank you.
Regards,
Monica
Hello Monica,
I didn't subscribe to it. GeneratePress One has GenerateBlocks Pro and also an upcoming GenerateCloud. According to their website:
"GenerateCloud will give you the power to save and share custom patterns across all of your GenerateBlocks websites. It’s a game changer for efficiency, letting you perfectly replicate any function and style with just a couple of clicks."
I think it is only if you want to all of Generate* products as a bundle. They do acknowledge that if we already have GeneratePress Premium, they can't pro-rate it but they are offering a 40% discount.
The details here:
https://generatepress.com/generatepress-one-a-single-license-for-all-our-products/
Hey Richard.
I'm sorry to be so late in responding.
Cool. Thank you for the info. Ummmm, now I can't decide. I didn't know about the 'GenerateCloud'. I'll look into that.
Thank you for the link, it's getting late here so I'll go into it tomorrow.
Regards,
Monica

Oh, cool! I forgot about Chrystopher's post. I remember reading that some years back. Ok... I'm going to be very busy and this will be fun.
I have been using Bing Creator but not specifically for destinations because they look so artificial. I was going to pay for DALL-E via ChatGPT but I feel like it's going to give an artificial look, yes, I looked into Leonardo, same thing. I didn't get far with MidJourney.... it looks like they want me to pay first. And I did look into the Adope Firefly... arrrggg, I can't remember... I'll go back into it again.
I found these two, that comes with free images and look real.... I downloaded a lot.

I started using Grammarly Plagiarism Check and that's been very interesting too. I don't know if you're using that but it helps.
Nice! I have been undecided on whether to pay for the ChatGPT 4, is that the same thing as ChatGPT Plus Subscription?? What is ChatGPT4o? Hope you don't mind me asking, what are you paying for the ChatGPT4o?
Hi Monica
Yeah, ChatGPT 4o is the latest version of the paid subscription.
It costs about $20/month.
Hi Frank,
I'm sorry to be late in responding. Yarrr. it's very hot here and I'm not even motivated at the moment, to do anything.
Are Chat GPT 4o images similar to the Bing Create Images? Do ChatGPT4o images look real?
Hi Monica
Yes, ChatGPT4o uses DALL-E 3, and they are high quality.

The easiest way is to go the customizer, click on colors, then click on primary navigation. This opens to show you the:
Navigation Background
Navigation Text (THIS ONE)_
Sub-Menu Background
Select Navigation text- You will see three circles:
The first one is the initial color.
The middle is to show the hover color
The third circle shows the current color.
Choose a color for the initial color. This will represent the menu items color.
Select a hover color. The hover color will show you what the menu item will look like when you hover.
The best part about using the customizer is you can see the changes as you do them before publishing the changes.
The third circle shows the color of the selected page.
Home, Contact, About and Blog
The 'current' color will show which page you're on.
If on home page, the home menu item will be a different color than the rest of the menu.
Each page will be highlighted on the menu bar with tat 'current' color.
Hope that helps!
Remember that dark colors on a white or light background show up better.
Use a complimentary color for the hover, and a third color to show the current page.
Rudy
Hey Rudy,
Thank you. This is awesome.
I went back into Customizer...I have the hover colour to the colour I want now and the text is visible.
Thanks again!

Hope all is well with you!

Rudy
Hey Rudy,

Have a wonderful weekend playing pool...
Monica
Hey Batman!
Thank you. I watched it just now. Very cool! I went into Colours > Content > Link
I like the consistency of having the same link colour. I was going for a pale blue for my hover colour and that worked. I copied the colour code and pasted it into the 'Choose Initial Colour' but it changed the colour of my post titles to pale blue and it's hard to read. I'm leaving the 'Choose Initial Colour' to black.
How can I change the colour from black to a lighter colour (see image)? I can't read the text when I hover over the menu item.
Regards,
Monica
You change the hover color, the initial color, etc. all from the customizer just like in the video 👍🏼 That's exactly what the customizer is for. You just have to pay attention to what is labeled what or you might be changing the color of what you think is the text in your menu, meanwhile it's actually referring to something else, so you have to pay attention.
When you're doing these changes it will show you in real time what those links look like, so don't publish the changes until you have it right. If you can't get it how you like it or you start to confuse yourself, you can just cancel out and start fresh without any of those changes taking affect.
They only take affect when you hit publish which is a good thing. Play around with it. You'll get it 💯
Hi Eric,
Thank you! I'm tinkering around with it. I'm understanding it a lot more. Thank God, I'm able to do this in real-time without publishing. I'd have no hair left if I couldn't do that.
I accomplished what I wanted, yeaaa! Thank you again.
Regards,
Monica
yeahhhhhh!!!!!
That's the beauty of the customizer. it's like a sandbox you can play around in without the changes being concrete until you hit publish.
Great job, Monica!

Yes, add one - but rather than thinking of it as a conclusion, think of it as a CTA. At the end of your post, you should always have a section telling your readers "what to do next".
Hey Dale,
Ummm, yes, good point. I made up a heading ' Are You Ready For Liveaboard Diving?
Now that I've answered your questions, are you ready to embark on an incredible liveaboard scuba diving adventure? Check out my reviews and plan your next unforgettable vacation!
If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comment box below, and I'll get back to you promptly.'
Anyway, something like that. Thank you for helping me, Dale.

It might be worth considering that as you do have a lot of FAQs, Google might see this as keyword stuffing especially if the questions have come from the Google search of what people are asking.
Its hard to say one way or the other but I did write a review a while back now and had about 32 FAQ's and my review was never seen, in fact I couldn't find it because Google actually de-indexed the post.
Yes, Google does that and for what reason, who knows becuase that review was written from the heart and full of facts.
Mick
Hi Mick,
Thank you for responding. Good points here... when I researched to gather up my questions, I wrote my questions in a natural way. It was not word for word.
Today I'm going to put the post as a category and stick it in the main navigation and on the right side.
I'm sad to hear what Google did... hopefully, that doesn't happen to mine. Lots of writers have FAQs. Tim McKinlay (hope I got the spelling right) made an interesting video on FAQs.
I appreciate what you said.
Dale responded back, see below... so I made a CTA heading.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
Regards,
Monica
If this is a sufficiently long list where the reader is likely to lose their way, yes, I would add a summative statement at the end to enable the reader to achieve a my-takeaways-are moment.
In any piece of writing, it is the writer's responsibility to guide the reader.
Apart from being helpful, it projects the writer's authority over their own material.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
