Hello everyone, my name is Tadeusz. I am 64 years old. I am married and have two beautiful adult daughters. I emigrated to United States when I was 11 years old. During my senior year in high school I decided to become a physician. I applied to Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland where I was accepted and commenced my first year on 10/1/1972 and graduated on 9/30/1978. It was a 6 year curriculum. I slept 3 hours per night 6 days per week. I had only Sunday of each week to catch up on my sleep. This continued daily for the first 2 years. During this time I lost 20 pounds of weight without any effort on my part. The first 2 years were the most arduous and stressful. Many students dropped out during this time because they could not handle the enormous stress that they were exposed to. When I set my goal to become a physician, this was not a light decision. I did more work than I ever imagined. Did I know for certain that I would be able to complete the entire curriculum? No, I did not. I am a licensed physician in the state of New York with a passion to make a positive change in people's lives because I love helping people. I pursued my goal to the end and did whatever it took. I gave it TOP PRIORITY. Am I proud of myself of this achievement? Yes, I am very proud of it. I am practicing Internal Medicine in lower Westchester County of New York for the past 36 years and I am very proud that I am able to alleviate suffering and help put a smile on people's faces.
I enjoy swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling , parasailing, water skiing, alpine skiing, brisk walking, ballroom dancing and reading. My goals are to continue to work in my profession and become successful in generating additional income through affiliate marketing.

Hi Dr. Tad and thanks for following me. It's nice to meet you. You've come a long way with some difficulty. When comparing mastering internet marketing with becoming a physician, well there's really no comparison. Here's wishing you very much success and prosperity here in the WA community.
Stay well and have a great evening.

Hello, Dr. Tad.

Nice to meet you. I enjoyed reading your most intersting profile. I can relate to the stress you mentioned during your medical school days. My training as an occupational therapist at Washington University School of Medicine was very intense as well. I always felt like I should be in the anatomy lab when I had to finish assignments for other classes.

It's too bad you're in NY and I'm in NC...I need a new dance partner. My website is on ballroom dancing. I'm really enjoying the research for my posts. I'm currently writing a series of posts about different brands of dance shoes, but I discovered that there is an organization for dancers in wheelchairs who compete in ballroom dancing! As a therapist, I'm intrigued, and planning to do a section on my website about that when I finally get away from shoes!

As a retired nurse who worked at a "teaching" hospital I know how difficult the schedule of a resident doctor is. I really tried my best to help the young residents. They were always so sleep deprived and tired , I have often wondered how they ever get through it and become practicing physicians.

Hello Chin,
I thank you for your follow. It is a pleasure to meet you among so many interesting people here at WA. ED is a subject that many men do not feel comfortable to speak about openly to their physician. I feel that this niche is something very valuable to explore on the internet.

Cheers,

Tadeusz

Welcome to WA which I have joined since 9/2017. In reading your profile, I noticed you have been an IM physician for 36 years. coinciding with my career being a retired urologist after a 37-year practice. For that reason, I like to ask some personal questions if you do mind and agree. If yes, let us me know. For the time being, I invite you to review my WA profile.

Look forward to hearing from you.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)
