Domain renewal question? website indexed when I didn't renew domain name?

Hi, Cynthia. I could be wrong about this because I haven't experienced it, but I am assuming that the two things are not related. Indexing has to do with the browser and renewal has to do with WA or any other webhosting site. Until WA turns off your site, any browser will continue to see it and go through its normal functions. I think.....
Thank you! I was able to renew the domain names, so apparently no one else snapped them up! BUT, none of these domain names have a website created yet, so that is mostly why I was wondering how they got indexed! I haven't done anything with them at all as of yet, except sit on the names.

I do block, not to offend but to limit my emails to me. I don't feel apologetic but I do get so much I get overwhelmed that I get my rating numbers lowered by not responding.
That's why I block.
Cindy I did not block you, did I? I go check!
I haven't experienced anything like this. Maybe this is a honest mistake or they thought it was someone else.
Perhaps the person accidentally unfollowed you and blocked you from private messages. Maybe they thought they were blocking and unfollowing a different person.
They've started following you again which is easy but it's not possible to unblock someone in private messages.
Try leaving a message on their profile page.
I did leave a message on their profile page.
Very interesting to know they are not able to unblock someone in private messages.
Thanks Marion for replying!

I actually created a post in site content today that was a bit over 3,000 words long. I created a new document, titled it and put the content in. It says it is published but
I think in this particular case the answer turned out to be error on my part but I am not 100% sure since I did create a totally new second post and copy everything to it and it still didn't publish correctly or with the proper link. I haven't had the issue in the past in site content and if it happens in the future I will try and go further with finding out the cause.
The easist solution for me as indicated earlier in the comments is simply to revert back to creating the post via logging into the website and add new post...copy the content into that and publish it from there.
I will fool around some more with the site content for new posts and see what happens. It's either me or a glitch!
I have published short 750 word posts directly form Site Content. Off course I can only publish to websites hosted at WA. For websites not hosted at WA I do the copy paste thing others have described. I like site content for its available photos and the error correction. My work flow is usually to write my text in open office. Then cut and past into Site Content and do the tune ups Site Content is good at. I will then post directly to my WA hosted website or I will cut and paste if it is on another host. Once it is on my website I use the Gutenberg editor to finalize layout and make the tweeks only allowed by WordPress.
So far as the link is concerned the only thin I can think of is you selected the wrong website by accident and you post is in another website. You should still have your document in Site Content. Any effort to update will do the update in where ever in cyber heaven you document was posted. Try creat a new page in Site Content. Paste your document from the old page to the new page and try publish again making sure you select the right website.
Hope this helps. Let us know.
Thanks Bill,
My site is hosted here, I had chosen the correct website, I first tried creating a new page and copied the content over into new page but I got same thing...link was to an existing post on the website, even with different title but none of the content was there when I previewed the post. The easiest fix was to just create a post after logging in to the site and copying the content into there.
I think I've figured out now the issue was because I originally was trying to add the content to an existing post I had already published in site content.
I appreciate ya brainstorming the issue with me.
I've lost things and I'm a big believer in backing up my content everywhere. I type all of my content in Google Docs so I have access wherever I am - then I copy and paste right to my website through SiteManager.
I guess the alternative could include copying the content into SiteContent and publishing from there.
I know a lot of people love SiteContent. I'm afraid I'm not quite there yet. I've had too many glitches. I hope you find your post - that's awful to lose something that's 3,000 words.
Yes I agree wendy...all good ideas. I had the content elsewhere and it is sitting on a doc. in site content. I just couldn't get it to publish. I was able to get it done by logging into site and creating post. Thank you for the tips. I think I prefer just adding the longer posts after logging into site until I get a bit more comfy with site content.
Cindy, I would gladly help but it goes beyond me. I think Ryan can help! Sorry my friend, maybe the next help question you need I could help you!
Frank
Thanks so much Frank! I really appreciate your reading the question. I think I jumped the gun posting it before giving more thought to a solution. Ryan straightened me out with a quick solution.
Good to go unless it happens again, then I will contact site support to see what's up!
I wish I had an answer for you. That would stink if you lost all that work. Have you tried siteSupport?
Thanks Jerry! I didn't check with site support because I was thinking it had to be something simple I did. The content is there in site content it just won't publish or at least I can't find it on a page or a post and the link to the new post has somehow connected with an existing post (even when I edited the link to change it) Weird!
I think Ryan had a good suggestion which should work. If not, I'll be back here to let you all know. ;-)
