About Cindyda1

I live in sunny Florida. My work background has primarily consisted of administrative related services for over 30 years, which has involved helping other people with physical and mental disability related issues (Accredited Social Security/SSI Disability representative). 20 + years of this work has been as self-employed. I have spent the past 2 years working toward retiring from this work and pursuing new interests. I don't think I will ever completely detach myself from the work I have done for so many years, however; I am anxious to dive deeper into other interests and it would be nice to earn a supplemental income along the way. I'm still young enough to start new ventures!

I have spent many hours surfing the net, reading blogs, ordering information and subscribing to this, that or the other in an attempt to learn as much as I can about succeeding in the online world. I have learned quite a bit over a long period of time but apparently not enough to figure out how all this online success stuff REALLY works in terms of being successful. As I am sure most of you know, there is a lot of false promises out there. That said, I proceed with cautious optimism here.

My goal for being here is to continue learning as much as I can and then successfully apply what I have learned. I have a web site and it would be awesome to be able to get an honorable amount of traffic coming in, possibly offer a few site related products/services, sell some ad space and generate a respectable income. Also, I have more than a few domain names I have been wanting to turn into web sites. I have been sitting on them for shamefully several years. It is time to either do something with them or let them go.

Not that I don't have bigger goals, but managing to even grow just one online business that I could be proud to refer folks to AND make some money, I would be very happy!

Interests and hobbies are flowers/gardening, my 2 border collies Molly and Lucy, my chickens ( I have 11) and my Pekin ducks ( I have 6). Sadly I am a total 60's/70's music junkie!

I do have a website for folks who need help with SSDI or SSi. I created the site after I decided to retire. The Reps and Attorney's I have listed are indeed experts in their field and hand picked by me....I get nothing for referring you to them and fees are the same for experts in the field as BSer's who string you along!

Hi Cindy,
Super Happy to meet you and be connected ! You are right, 60's and 70's rule musically ! Went on a similar journey through the internet. Lot's of "Best Answers" that fizzled, a few with the jury still out. Plenty of chances to part with different amounts of your hard earned, some resulting in nothing but a lesson learned. Always glad to compare notes if you ever want to hear from someone who has "been there and done that".
Looking forward to following you and your success in the future !
Regards !

Mike

G'Day. Thank you so very much for the follow. I am returning the compliment. Love 60s/70s music?? Pop folk like Peter Paul and Mary? Bob Dylan et al. Of course who could possibly forget people like Gene Pitney etc. I was in a band in another life and that was the type on music we played. Just love. It is still played here in Australia, indeed some broadcasters only play our music.
All the very best here at WA
Kindest regards
Frank

Hi Cindy, thanks for following me back and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate! It's great to meet you and be a part of your network here. Wow, interesting profile, btw!

I see you must love animals too...border collies are such beautiful dogs! Now, chickens and Pekin ducks I've never had the experience of taking care of, but it sounds like you must be busy with that many, lol. Not to mention, your other work you do in the SSDI/SSi field, which I think is awesome of you to be doing for people, btw.

Anyways, like yourself, I spent a lot of time searching for ways to make an income online and came across sooo many scams before stumbling across WA. The search stopped here, and here I've been for about 5 years now.

So, I definitely can relate to being wary about it at first, I was too back then. But, I found the training courses here do work, follow the training, do all the tasks set out in each lesson, and you'll get there! If I can do it, I'm sure you can too.

Looking forward to hearing more from you, and I do hope things are going well for you here as you go through the training. If you ever get stuck just ask for help, I'm always happy to help and so are many others here.

Anyways, I've rambled on long enough, lol.
See you around WA!

Best wishes in all you do :) ~Sherry

Thank you, Sherry, for taking the time to read my profile. My ducks are dwindling btw, I think a fox has been picking them off! ;-( I'm down to only 4 now!

I appreciate the offer to help and it is encouraging to know you have been here for about 5 years now! I look forward to staying in touch.

Thank you!

Oh no, sorry to hear about your ducks! Hopefully, you won't lose any more to the fox! Anyways, I was just about to call it a day for a few hours or so anyways, now that it's morning here, lol.

That'd be great, I look forward to hearing from you again sometime. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Best wishes :) ~Sherry

That's a great profile bio! I really like the way you help people that need help the most! When I was extremely ill I found it very hard to get on disability even though I'm not in the US, and over a decade later I see other very ill people having all the same struggles no matter what country they are in all over the world. And then so many people seemed positioned to prey on ill people with consultation fees for this and that, so it was really nice to see what you do :)

Enjoy the training and best wishes online!

I appreciate your comment..I'm supposed to be retired from my former career but have a hard time staying away! It's about the only thing I know how to do well and there are plenty around who take advantage of a vulnerable sector of our population. What I'm learning here is a bit foreign to me but I am learning a lot and enjoying it! Thanks a bunch!

Hello Cindy
Thank you for returning the follow. Absolutely nothing to be sad about the 60's 70's music genre. Best era ever in my opinion. From Motown to the British Invasion to the west coast beach bands to the long hair American bands. You have an excellent taste in your tunes. To your HUGE success, Mark

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)
