Yes, I'm not only using it on my websites, I've created some videos here at Wealthy Affiliate and a full video course at Udemy.com which is receiving lots of 5-star reviews.
The plugin keeps getting better with every new release. WordPress Gutenberg: Create a New Post using WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg
I just turned it off, it was not stable enough for easy editing, I think they have some work to do before it's a good product.

I haven't used it yet because I too use Thrive Architect on all my sites. So no need for it really while I'm using that.

If so, how long did you wait before reapplying? Did Amazon accept you back into their program relatively easily or did you have to go through some hurdles?
I made the
Yes Michael. I reapplied when I got the email and was reaccepted in a couple of days.
Derek
Nice! That was much quicker than I thought...I was thinking months down the road to reapply. Thanks for your feedback.
Good question. I really didn't know what to expect. I expect that I will be revoked sometime in the next month if I don't have 2 more sales. Didn't really know that I could reapply. I thought it was permanent. So... thanks for asking a great question.
You're welcome. Yes, I know you can reapply because Amazon sent me an email when they revoked my status a while back saying I could. Unless they've changed their policy, it should still be the same. Also, if you're needing 2 more sales in a month, try and see if you can get friends and/or family members to purchase stuff on Amazon through your link :)
Oh yes, I've been revoked from Amazon before, but it was a major struggle for traffic back then and I didn't get the amount of sales needed before they fully accepted you in. I waited nearly a year before I re-applied and got accepted, but this time I was able to get the required amount of sales and have been with Amazon Associates ever since.
Yes I was and don’t regret it as Amazon is not the be all and end all... I have never reapplied as in reality it was not the best affiliate program for me.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen
You're absolutely right, Amazon is not the end all, be all. I'd say CJ may have better affiliate programs anyways.
I have not had my status revoked but I have lost my fill account
When they updated they changed the logging so that you had to verify it with a code text to your mobile phone. But they have an old number for me, one that I no longer have assessed too
So i called them up and told them and after some security questions they said can you call back tomorrow
I didn't bother calling them back, I will need my account back tho cause I have published some Ebooks With there KDP program and I need in to manage that, I am still getting money from the ebook into my bank but I can't even log in lol
What I would suggest you do is get your website set up and maybe drive some traffic to it using Facebook groups or something
Then re-apply under a business name and give them your site URL when asked for. If your site looks good and is indexed by google you should have a good shot
Trying to get your old account back seems like a losing battle, to be honest
OR go to google and type in your "niche affiliate program" and see what other sites have to offer
Most sites have an affiliate programme and they are better than Amazon
Amazon only has a tracking cookie or 24hour - meaning they have to buy within that time for you to make a commision
Most other sites offer 30day tracking cookie or more
Plus Amazon only offer about 4% to 8% I think it is now depending on the Niche
Other sites offer you more as they need the custom more than Amazon does normally 10% flat rate for physical products
Hey, thanks for the useful tips Tamzon. I'm in no rush to reapply as I'm in the WA Bootcamp but I was thinking sometime down the road I may reapply.
No probs
If you are looking for products in a niche better looking at another affiliate sites before amazon, for the reason I mentioned in other comment
I was revoked only due to moving to a state where their affiliate program doesn't operate. I would recommend waiting until you're getting at least 1k traffic/mo to your site (30-50 visits per day). However, that being said, there are plenty of other affiliate programs out there in the meanwhile.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm actually in WA Bootcamp but I thought I might promote books like Tim Ferris's "4 Hour Work Week" through Amazon sometime down the road.

Hello there,
Just curious about whether adding descriptions and keywords to our images would help the related blog post as far as ranking in Google.

Hey Michael,
If you want the biggest "bang" for your time, you should use your Title and Alt tags for EVERY image properly so that Google will reward you.
See screen print below for an explanation.
If you use the ALT tag properly, Google gives your site points!
Hope this helps you.
Hi Michael
There's a lot of contradicting information about this on the internet (and even on here).
Previously one could stuff as many keywords in there as you wished, but these days, Google doesn't like that anymore.
That said, it does help if you do have information in there, but it should be relevant to the image. If you can add your keyword as part of the image description, awesome, but else, don't try to force it.
The purpose of the image title and description is to make it assessable for vision-impaired people who uses a screen reader.
Let me give you an example to make it all more understandable. ;-)
Let's say I have a post about making money online, and how I'll be able to eat ice cream at the beach all day long. ;-) So I've got a picture of a big ice cream cone on there.
In the title, I'll say something like: "Wafer cone with scoop of vanilla and choloate ice cream"
In the description, I can write something like: "This picture reminds me of the ice cream cone that I will be able to eat at the beach all day long, if I succeed in this make money online business."
Let's pretend that "make money online" was my keyword. So I can try to weave my keyword into my description like that, without getting penalized for it. Or you can just simply repeat your title in the description.
But to write some like this: "ice cream cone, make money online, keyword 2, keyword3, keyword4", is a no-no.
In other words, close your eyes and pretend somebody is reading your post to you, and because you can't see the picture, they've got to read what the picture is about to you. That is what you should write in there.
Keep it short - my example is probably too long. ;-) But I hope it will give you the idea.

I'm using Ewww Image optimizer at the moment which to be fair has worked pretty well so far. But if you want even more compression (lossy compression) you'll have to pay a sub
Lossy and lossless.Sounds like you're into computer forensics. Are you compressing for encryption?
Nope, just trying to reduce the file size for my images as much as possible without noticeably sacrificing the image quality. I ran a speed test on my website and noticed that I needed some optimization to increase page load speed.
So, using some of the recommendations below, I was able to reduce the file size on my images by another 50% plus on all my JPEGS and PNGs. Now my pages seem to be loading faster so I'm happy :)
Mike
Hey Mike,
You could always manually compress your images before uploading them.

Hope this helps you.
I have written a blog about image compression. It would help you to compress images before you upload them to your worpress site.
