Hello WA community! Just curious if anyone has made the leap and am curious to read some opinions on it. I actually use Thrive Architect on my main site but am planning to cr

I think this is an inner space Which is not limited by expression, you can add rich features, regardless of the source, so long as this is useful,

Yes, I'm not only using it on my websites, I've created some videos here at Wealthy Affiliate and a full video course at Udemy.com which is receiving lots of 5-star reviews.

The plugin keeps getting better with every new release.

Thanks for the input, Marion.

I just turned it off, it was not stable enough for easy editing, I think they have some work to do before it's a good product.

Hey Dallas, thank you for your feedback.

You are welcome, wish you all the best!

What is Thrive Architect and what does it do? for a newbie.

Thrive Architect is a premium page builder.

It's still in beta

I haven't used it yet because I too use Thrive Architect on all my sites. So no need for it really while I'm using that.

If so, how long did you wait before reapplying? Did Amazon accept you back into their program relatively easily or did you have to go through some hurdles?

I made the

Yes Michael. I reapplied when I got the email and was reaccepted in a couple of days.

Derek

Nice! That was much quicker than I thought...I was thinking months down the road to reapply. Thanks for your feedback.

I haven't gotten that far yet but thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind.

You're welcome. There's some good advice in here from the others.

All this good to know. Thanks for the post and messages

You're welcome.

Good question. I really didn't know what to expect. I expect that I will be revoked sometime in the next month if I don't have 2 more sales. Didn't really know that I could reapply. I thought it was permanent. So... thanks for asking a great question.

You're welcome. Yes, I know you can reapply because Amazon sent me an email when they revoked my status a while back saying I could. Unless they've changed their policy, it should still be the same. Also, if you're needing 2 more sales in a month, try and see if you can get friends and/or family members to purchase stuff on Amazon through your link :)

Oh yes, I've been revoked from Amazon before, but it was a major struggle for traffic back then and I didn't get the amount of sales needed before they fully accepted you in. I waited nearly a year before I re-applied and got accepted, but this time I was able to get the required amount of sales and have been with Amazon Associates ever since.

Nice! Glad to hear that it worked out for you.

I did the same thing and I'm sure mine will be too because there is no traffic to my site yet.

A tip that I picked up from another WA member is to get friends or family members to buy stuff from Amazon through your affiliate link so you can meet their minimum sales requirement :)

Yes I was and don’t regret it as Amazon is not the be all and end all... I have never reapplied as in reality it was not the best affiliate program for me.

You're absolutely right, Amazon is not the end all, be all. I'd say CJ may have better affiliate programs anyways.

I have not had my status revoked but I have lost my fill account

When they updated they changed the logging so that you had to verify it with a code text to your mobile phone. But they have an old number for me, one that I no longer have assessed too

So i called them up and told them and after some security questions they said can you call back tomorrow

I didn't bother calling them back, I will need my account back tho cause I have published some Ebooks With there KDP program and I need in to manage that, I am still getting money from the ebook into my bank but I can't even log in lol

What I would suggest you do is get your website set up and maybe drive some traffic to it using Facebook groups or something

Then re-apply under a business name and give them your site URL when asked for. If your site looks good and is indexed by google you should have a good shot

Trying to get your old account back seems like a losing battle, to be honest

OR go to google and type in your "niche affiliate program" and see what other sites have to offer

Most sites have an affiliate programme and they are better than Amazon

Amazon only has a tracking cookie or 24hour - meaning they have to buy within that time for you to make a commision

Most other sites offer 30day tracking cookie or more

Plus Amazon only offer about 4% to 8% I think it is now depending on the Niche

Other sites offer you more as they need the custom more than Amazon does normally 10% flat rate for physical products

Hey, thanks for the useful tips Tamzon. I'm in no rush to reapply as I'm in the WA Bootcamp but I was thinking sometime down the road I may reapply.

No probs

If you are looking for products in a niche better looking at another affiliate sites before amazon, for the reason I mentioned in other comment

I was revoked only due to moving to a state where their affiliate program doesn't operate. I would recommend waiting until you're getting at least 1k traffic/mo to your site (30-50 visits per day). However, that being said, there are plenty of other affiliate programs out there in the meanwhile.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm actually in WA Bootcamp but I thought I might promote books like Tim Ferris's "4 Hour Work Week" through Amazon sometime down the road.

You're welcome.

Wait until you're confident that you can generate the needed sales. They you will need to swap out all of your inks.

OR

Use different merchants, not just Amazon. You'll have a longer cookie, higher commission rates and no silly requirement like this one.

Thanks for your advice.
