About MeganW

I'm Megan, a single mum from Australia trying to find more ways to provide for my kids. I want to be able to work from home so I can support my family whilst still undertaking all my care responsibilities to my children and elderly relatives. I am prepared to give this my all to make my dream a reality!

Update 5 November 2017 - well I've been back for just over two weeks and I'm working hard on my site. I have given up so many times over the years but this is my year and I am going to make this work. I am excited about how my website is looking and once this one is working well I will be fixing up the other two I started. I'm focusing on one at a time instead of trying to do it all at once and now it feels doable.

Looking forward to sharing the journey with you. You can connect with me on my profile below.

Regards,
Megan
MeganW's Goals 3
Money Goals
I would love to earn enough that I could give up my traditional job. As a single mum i only work part-time because I need to be at home for my children and help my elderly parents and grandmother. I earn about $1200 per fortnight after tax and If I could earn enough to replace that income it would mean I could do all my care responsibilities whilst providing for my family.

I would be ecstatic to earn $4000 per fortnight as this would reduce my reliance on government support.

I would love to be able to devote all my time to achieve these goals but the reality is I need to continue working in order to support my family until I can have enough revenue to be able to leave my job. It's a bit of a chicken-egg dilemma. I will plug away at this slowly but surely and whilst I might not get there rapidly if I keep doing a bit at a time the results will eventually come.

While I'm not a mother yet, I'm joining this website in anticipation of being able to stay at home with my children. I would love to network with you so I can learn from your experience.

Not a very good economy is it despite what the politicians say! My age doesn't help either - 64! I have always been able to get jobs as a Personal Assistant until a couple of years ago. It is very scary. I have neither the money nor the desire to retire!!

I'm hearing you. I'm a single mum who gets no help from their father. I have numerous medical conditions and have a son with special needs whom I home school. I work part-time as well. Single parents seem to be getting hit in all the big budgets - Howard's last budget attacked us, Gillard's budget attacked us, and Abbott's budget will just about finish us off. Seriously I think they want women to stay submissive in abusive relationships! I just seem to be going backwards no matter what I try so I'm wanting to get this going and after the comments on my site so from WA members I am beginning to think I might just be able to make this work! I have an idea for another site going on in the background that I want to get up and running once this one is bringing in some money.

G'day Megan. Just wanted to stop by since I saw you in chat. When it starts jumping get distracted, then it's difficult to write fast enough to explain. Hope you got all your important questions answered.

Are you close to district downtown by UQ? One of my cousins will be graduating next year, still lives on campus. Hoping to get to my reunion and also visit family. Our ranch outback isn't in a township, but the northeast plain is closest to Maryborough, inland of Frazier Isle.

Welcome to the WA. Several Aussies here. Have you met Jude Banks? She lives in Sydney, but closer than me. A good ten hour drive up/down the coast is better than a 13 hour air flight from/to Oklahoma. LOL. Will be happy to help if you get pommeled. ^_~

Hi Caylynn, I'm about 20 minutes drive from UQ. I know where Maryborough and Fraser Island are. Haven't been up there in a very long time though I keep meaning to go! I met Jude last night, she was very helpful with a problem I had :)
