About MeganW
Joined June 2014
I'm Megan, a single mum from Australia trying to find more ways to provide for my kids. I want to be able to work from home so I can support my family whilst still undertaking all my care responsibilities to my children and elderly relatives. I am prepared to give this my all to make my dream a reality!

Update 5 November 2017 - well I've been back for just over two weeks and I'm working hard on my site. I have given up so many times over the years but this is my year and I am going to make this work. I am excited about how my website is looking and once this one is working well I will be fixing up the other two I started. I'm focusing on one at a time instead of trying to do it all at once and now it feels doable.

Looking forward to sharing the journey with you. You can connect with me on my profile below.

Regards,
Megan

Hey Megan. It is great that you are looking to support your family with this amazing technology and community. When I was a single mom, it was really tough to juggle family commitments and building a career. These days, with this training, it is not like you have to spend 3 years in entry-level positions to make it happen. Woohoo!
I think your decision to concentrate on one website at a time makes a ton of sense. Do one, following all the steps, and maximize its potential. Then take on another, visit the first, etc.
I am a newbie to this, but I have owned and run businesses in my past 'working' life. I write a lot for our local paper, because I am active in the community for our schools. It takes me about 2-3 hours to write a blog including some research and putting up pictures. I am not at the point yet (see where I am at www.AnniesArtSupplies.com) where I am doing links or adding affiliates or videos or other stuff, so that will take more time I think.
Research takes the longest, writing is pretty quick for me, finding and adding pics takes a bit of time, but I have a bunch now, so I expect that to take less. I have a list of a bunch of topics, have a bunch of saved keywords, and love the WA keyword app (although I wish you did not have to click to get each result!). It is what it is, right?
Hope this helps!

Yeah just wish it hadn't taken me 3 years to work this out lol. Hate my job now even more than I did 3 years ago so I probably could have saved myself at least 18months of heartache there! Anyway onwards and upwards. I just need to stop overthinking everything I post!

Your site looks good - clean but it will look awesome when you get to adding things to your sidebars :) Your content reads well but I always struggle to comment on art sites as I'm in no way artistic - much to my daughter's disgust lol

Hi! Megan,

Welcome to WA and thank you for following me.

Here I would like to applaud you for making a right decision to join the right Internet program with unparalleled training and member fellowship and support.

Now you can await the coming of success if persistently taking the right actions as instructed in the WA training course and the help from its members, though hard and tough. In reality, there has been no such a program like WA.

To illustrate what I stated and assured above, welcome to peruse few of my WA posts and some contents in my site, www.ebettercare.com, built with WA's WP platform.

If encountering any questions, just ask the WA members, who will surely and timely lend their helping hands.

Here I wish the best for your success to come,

James

WOW, Megan, we have a lot in common.

I'm from Australia (Sydney)
I'm cooking every night for my daughter
AND I made the same mistake as yourself, trying to do too much at the one time. 3 websites exactly. We both NOW know it is much better one at a time.

I thank you for following me and I wish you the best in all aspects of life.

Cheers,

Brad

Yeah when I read you were from Sydney I added you - I try to add as many Aussie's as possible :)

I lived in Sydney for nearly 4 years as a kid - Punchbowl and Holsworthy.

Good luck to both of us this time around! Although I'm feeling much more confident this time and my website is looking great. I have pages and pages of scrap paper with ideas jotted down :/

Good luck

Thanks, Megan,

I lived in Wattle Grove next to Holsworthy for a few years before moving to Perth. Now I am back in Sydney.

Good luck also.

Hi! Megan,
Congratulate on gaining a mega-leap in WA ranking by 30, which clearly says you have worked hard and smart. And you will be my model of an effective E-marketing pursuer inside WA, which is the right place and the best of its kind in the market as what I have perceived over my past 44 days in WA. The more I studies, the more I learned, and the more I can perceive what I may expect. To know each other for mutual supporting down the road, welcome to peruse articles in www.ebettercare.com, which I have been building soon after joining WA some 44 days ago.Of course, do not forget to leave your critical comment and suggestion so I can have a hope to push this digital baby into the orbit of E-Marketing sphere, in case you have time to do so for me and us.

Here comes with my sincere welcome and my invitation for networking.

Best to your health and success,

James

Welcome, back, Megan!
You are just one of many that has seen frustration, but having the courage to get bck in, is admirable.
I tried back in 2008, and got ripped off for 1000's of dollars...a little company right hear in town. That certainly took the wind out of my sails.
I've nothing but wonderful help from fantastic, caring folks!
I, too, think starting fresh, is the best approach. I started a personal website, but have, also, put it on hold, as it's with Go Daddy, which I need to wait on a transfer.
Best success on this NEW adventure.

Thank you. Welcome to you. I'm very excited about my site. I'm now in the increasing traffic stage. This is where it gets hard. I'm launching my Facebook page on Saturday and will put it out to my friends then. Scared but excited.

Megan, I just found you on the site comments section. I got so interested in your site that I wrote the comments there instead of the 'Site Comments' section. Oh well I can't win them all!

Why don't you put your internet links over to the right at the bottom of the page. That makes it pretty easy for the rest of us to visit you.

See you around.

Hi Helen

I've posted a comment on your site to repay you :) Not a fan of sci-fi myself, although my son is, but I found an eReader review and I LOVE my eReader.

Megan

Me love eReader too! But books come first. At night though I love being able to read and not leave a warm bed to put the lights out. And if I can't sleep it's so easy to grab the eReader and read in the soft light.

Did I read somewhere that you are in Queensland?
Reply

Hi Helen

Yep in Brisbane. I love my eReader in bed too and when I go out or away I always have the next book without filling a case full of books! The one issue with an eReader in bed is it hurts more than a paperback when you doze off and hit yourself in the face with it ;)

Whereabouts in Tassie are you? I fell in love with Tassie when we did a road trip down there in 2014.

I know all about the eReader cover belting my nose.

We are down south of Huonville (south of Hobart) in a village named Port Huon.

Hi Megan,
I saw your request for constructive feedback on your Genealogy website.

I think you have made a good start it now needs filling out. It was interesting reading about your relationship with your grandmother, but I think there could be more information about other in your family. You tell us that you originally did a lot of work on paper but neglected to inform your readership as to how far you were able to trace your family back. That may prove an interesting read.

Keep working on it, you are travelling in the right direction, if you have completed the training, don't forget to revert back to it when required.

I wish you well on journey with WA. I am following you to see you progress.

I have sent you a private message.

Kind regards
