Affiliate Marketing has been a passion of mine for the past 7 years but, due to owning a virtual secretarial business, there hasn't been enough time to dedicate to it. I have recently taken a step back from secretarial matters and I'm now enjoying time doing what I love the most in respect to being on the internet. I have three websites, one that I started in 2010 and another two in 2014.

It is now Thursday 3rd September 2015 and I have been a Premium member of Wealthy Affiliate for the past 5 weeks; the best 5 weeks of my affiliate marketing life ever!

Prior to becoming a Premium member of WA I believed that I had a fairly good knowledge of what affiliate marketing is really about. Well, the past weeks have shown me that in spite of being the owner of 3 websites prior to joining WA Premium, I really didn’t have a great knowledge of affiliate marketing at all.

The tuition provided to WA members is outstanding! Wealthy Affiliate leaders share all of their knowledge. They hold nothing back! They are totally generous with sharing their affiliate marketing skills, their knowledge of tools that make for easy website planning and building, along with their knowledge of how to research products and information. There is nothing hidden at WA. Knowledge is available at the finger tips of all WA Premium members to take advantage of.

My motto now is – "Don’t hold back – Move forward and live your dreams"

Finally, I now have my first WA website live. It is still a work in progress but it is a work that wouldn’t exist had I not joined Wealthy Affiliate University.

The thing about online success that I have come to learn is that there is room for ALL of us within the online world. There is no marketplace that is bigger and there is nowhere that represents this kind of opportunity, regardless of your niche, passions and interests (and it only continues to grow!!)

Take action on the training here at WA, immerse yourself within the awesome and helpful community here at WA... and ask for help when you need it. You will be well on your way to achieve your goals Valerie!

Thanks very much Kyle. I'm really enjoying the amazing WA community. People are so helpful and I'm even getting into contributing. It certainly is a great 'family'.

Just by the way, I know my goals appear to be large but breaking them down to per month, I believe they should be attainable by means of focus and constant application.

Well, I apparently did not find the fix for banners and images. All my pages that had banners or image now are void of them. I tried to edit the page put attempts to copy and past proved unsuccessful. I can see in the text references to banners but I do not know how to fix this. Unfortunately my access to Support does not work so if you have any suggestions I would covet them and if you know a way to get to support via email that would also be appreciated. This is just so frustrating

Valerie, I have been trying all afternoon to upload a banner but always get hung up at the media file section. The media file shows the page URL and there is no way that I can delete that and replace it with the HTML code. Do you have any suggestions??

Hi Valerie, I just stumbled upon your post and found it very interesting. Here you were already very knowledgeable about affiliate marketing and it really sounds like you knew what you were doing having had three of your own websites. I'm inspired to hear that despite your knowledge in this industry you still decided to become a premium member! I was on the fence but after reading your post as well as a few others I may be coming around! Thanks and good luck on your WA journey!

Hi Stacey, I see you have gone Premium. Congratulations to you. There is so much to learn from WA and it doesn't matter how long one has been doing affiliate marketing, there is always more to learn. Affiliate marketing is not set in stone and that is due to the changes that go on with the search engines, mainly Google, but Bing and Yahoo play a part.
I look forward to seeing you in the community.
All the best :)

Hi Valerie, thank you so much for your warm welcome and the follow...A little over whelmed to say the least, but never the less excited too.

I like that you have a website on dog training tips.

A huge interest of mine, I adore dogs( all animals) and would be a dream career to work with them. Maybe one day!

You seem to be very well on here, fare play, I hope I'll do half as good some day :-)

I am sure you will do very well with WA.

And, I'm pleased to know that you adore dogs. I think they are the most wonderful creatures on earth. But then I have to say the same about cats, as I have Mandy to keep me company. I think she's got some dog instincts because she follows me everywhere I go, just like a little puppy!!
