How amazing that Google ranks Privately-published content, and I am expected to believe
I wasn't aware of semalt, Val, so looked them up and found this. I hope you find it useful:

You have to pay them to remove it there is another site that gives instructions on how to remove it.
Thanks very much for this link, Phil. Wow, all this time I've put up with semalt only to now find I have plenty of company. It's a wonder that semalt has existed for so long.
I meant the semalt main website, it isn't opening for me, and I am now wondering why? lol I also noted the same with Valerie.
Weird. Opens fine for me. See attached. It also included a pop-up inviting me to sign up using my Google account.
It may be a blocker on my end; I will go look in browser settings - Thanks for the image, Phil!
Oh my gosh get rid of it. I read there is a way to get rid of that annoying ghost bot. Google Analytics admin then you go to referral exclusion list to remove it. I sent you a PM on how to remove it free no need to pay someone to remove it.
Thanks so much, Brenda. I haven't had time to check your PM as I had a Zoom meeting straight after asking the question! I will respond to you PM.
I just did a quick Google search and found Blue Corona. Not sure how good of a website/service they are but looks like they have some sound advise on Semalt.
Abie, I haven't checked anything directly on their website. I've wanted to avoid one-on-one contact with them.

I hesitated to ask this question, but I do need to find a solution.
I received advice from Canva that my monthly subscription didn't go through. As I had not made any c
Valerie, I had nothing from problems with PayPal when it connects through my bank. I am in the United States of America (USA). To solve this humongous crap issue. I applied for a PayPal credit card and also a cash card. Now problem solved. All transactions go though the card. I pay it off every month in full balance. My credit line was small at first but now I have a big credit line with them. I only keep my balance low at least 1 percent below. Making it affordable for me to pay off my balance on time every month. Try applying for a credit card if you have good credit score. I am not sure what New Zeland's version of credit score is as compared to USA.
Hi Brenda, thanks very much for your response. My transactions through PayPal have always been debited to my credit card, meaning I can no longer use it to pay Canva. However, it never occurred to me to keep a balance in PayPal. I will contact them regarding depositing funds meaning I will have a credit to make payment directly to Canva. They may not agree but as I've had an account with PayPal for many years, they just might agree! I'll let you know!
There is another one called payoneer, I have set it up but not used it as yet. It is a Chinese app that I was going to use to buy Chinese goods, but didycome to fruition. However I have heard good th about it…another option.
Yes, Stephen,I agree with you regarding Payoneer. My Amazon commissions are paid into Payoneer. They are right on-to-it! However, they are not on the list of Banks Canva accepts. They advised me yesterday of the Banks they accept payments from.
So, the good news is that I paid Canva last night via my PayPal account! Thank goodness it worked!!
Thanks so much, Brenda, for your message. Yes, it is a relief.
And, while I'm here, I see you are now a WA Ambassador. Wonderful, and congratulations to you. Well done!
Shhhh. Don't announce it yet. I was Ambassador much earlier. I only last a few days then my rank dropped. Mike took over then Mike dropped then I went up, now someone else is trying to beat me to it. There is something wrong with the ranking system. I do not want to announce it until I can clear this up with Kyle about what happened why the ranking got messed up. Mike and I are not happy about the confusion so I am waiting for Kyle's response.
It's like it is playing games so not yet confirm it. I do not like a fierce competition, I am too humble for that so I do not think it will last probably be short and drop down again. My main focus is build my website.
Thanks Valerie.
My lips are sealed and fingers strongly taped!! I also am humble and that's why I'm not asking why my rank was 90 today from 85 yesterday. I haven't been all that active in the community recently, but the last few days I have been. So, it's a mystery!
I agree, our websites are the most important factor. I hope you receive the answer from Kyle soon, Brenda.
Try XE, you can download the app from the App Store or just google it up. They do money transfers…or PayPal I guess.
I think XE have $10 introductory offer at the moment, you get $10 for using it…maybe a week overdue..don’t shoot the messenger..good luck Val.
I've never heard of XE, Stephen. Any transaction that goes through PayPal is recorded in my bank account as PayPal plus the receiving company. I'm going to get back to Canva and let them know about this issue. It's there problem to resolve. No mine!! LOL!!
Actually it's not Canva's problem it is yours. It is your bank that is refusing funds. It shows as in the case of my bank refusing to pay my bills while I am in Mexico, the banks are in control of your money not you
It's in the past now, Catherine. It's sorted by using PayPal. I couldn't use Wise, nor Payoneer where I have an account. Canva sent advice of the Banks they do business with at present and neither of those were included.
I pay through PayPal and have no issues.
However, I agree with Edwin to confirm the email is genuine.
Thanks Muslimah for your response. I cannot pay by PayPal as that account is debited to my credit card. The end result in my Bank Credit Card is PayPal plus in receiving company.
Yes get a wise card it is a wallet you can store currencies on. I use it all the time I'm Mexico as my bank in the UK won't let me use my cards. So I pay Canva with Wise
Thanks for your response, Catherine. I have not been aware of Wise so I will check them out today.
Hello Valerie.
We all have to pay online when we sign for pro version.
I pay for canva.....via PayPal which you can link either or bank debit card or a credit too instead of directly linking you bank cards to canva
Try using a paypal set up for Canva. If you Still have problems..keep chasing up the support team at Canva to help.
Hope you get this resolved.
You know where I am...if you need further guidance
Clare
Hi Clare, thanks for your response. I cannot pay by PayPal as each transaction through PayPal is debited to my Bank Credit Card as - PayPal plus the name of the receiving company.
Thanks, Abie.
Paying by PayPal will not work because the charge is going through PayPal but the end result is my Bank.
However, having said that, maybe it's worth a try!
I will contact contact Canva and let them know my Bank's reaction to their business.
Paying by PayPal will not solve the problem. I've checked my Bank account for other PayPal payments I've made. Each payment is recorded as PayPal plus the the name of the receiving Company.
Yes please and let us know how that works for you. Oh, mine says PayPal and has a transaction id.
It is between PayPal and the bank, but equally you can use a credit card or simply upload some US cash into your PayPal and keep the sum for online purchases. Many folks do that, so they do not lose on the exchange as well.
Hi Abie, just a quick message to let you know that the problem with my Canva account has been sorted. Last night I set up automatic payments through PayPal and it worked like magic!!
Hi Valerie,
Are you certain that the message you received from Canva was from them? Sometimes scam artists send out emails like this for you to take action so that they can capture your account info. I’ve had emails like that before. When I checked the hidden details, the sender had weird looking addresses.
I could be wrong but just saying.
Edwin
For sure, Edwin. Just happened to me with a McAfee payment.
Had to white wash computer, and change passwords, cancel debit card, etc.
Not pretty!
Good warning!
Barb
Hi Edward and thanks for your response.
My first reaction to the message was it could be a scam. So, I logged into my Canva account, and it shows that my subscription is outstanding.
I then phoned my Bank and the person I spoke to was positive about the reason they will not honour transactions with Canva.
It sure is hard to believe!
I appreciate your message.
Valerie
I use a PayPal credit card for my business expenses. I have it set up to automatically pay off the balance in full so no interest ever accrues.
Thanks for your response, Nathan.
I do have a PayPal account, but the end result of the transaction is my Bank account.
You're welcome Valerie. A Paypal credit card though is separate from a Paypal account.
I actually had the exact same issue with my bank. About 50% of online business purchases simply could not go through.
But ever since I opened up a credit card, the credit card makes the purchase with the vendor, and my bank pays off my credit card balance.
I haven't had a single issue since.
Thanks for your help, Nathan. I wasn't thinking about a Paypal credit card but that would be the ideal solution. I will apply to Paypal tomorrow - Monday in NZ!
Hi Nathan, just a quick message to thank you again for your help and to let you know the problem with my Canva account has been resolved. I set up an automatic payment with PayPal and in spite of my doubtfulness, the transaction was honoured. So, all is well.
