I took advantage of the Black Friday yearly special last year. How do I make sure I am not automatically renewed for another year?
you do not want to renew at the $24/month rate?
ok... lol.
go to yoru accont and then account settings. memberships and cancel rebiling.
I don't know where to find my account. Can you send a screen print of where to go. Thanks so much! :-)
Hi Lisa,
You can access your account here:

Not sure how to downgrade to be honest, I think you are best off hitting 'cancel and stop billing' then reactivate your account, selecting monthly as your preferred membership status.

Hey Lisa,
If you allow auto-renew you receive the same Black Friday discount going forward. If you still do not want to receive that savings then yes, doing as Chris (aka BenjisDad) suggested will cancel your membership for sure.
However, if you really are cancelling your membership, you might want to review this video to make sure you are not charged going forward: Cancel Wealthy Affiliate Membership and Stop Billing Hope you find this helpful.

I have been trying to build my email list and get subscribers by offering a free eBook. It doesn't seem to be getting a lot of response. I am in the skin care niche. Is anyone
Are you emphasizing your credentials as to why you are an expert on this topic? The ebook may not currently appear as worth it in exchange for giving up their email address. Perhaps review how it is presented to make sure it sounds valuable to prospects.
Hey Lisa,
I would have thought that people would be jumping at the chance for a free ebook!!

How about using a video to attract your visitors to optin and subscribe to obtain your ebook?
I could possibly try that. Thanks. I haven't made any videos yet, but I've been wanting to start.
Hey LIsa,
An eBook must be offer a "hot topic" on the niche else your visitors will not be interested in it.
Perhaps Jay's webinar replay will offer you some helpful tips: Email Marketing 2018: 1st Steps to List Building Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks, I already saw the training. I just want to know what is working in the skin care niche.
Hmmm... I just Google searched "freebies for skin care" (without the quotation marks, of course) and found some rather interesting products others are offering as their freebies that juuuuust might interest you.
Give that search a try and see what you think... I would love to know if this helps you.
That's how I got my current eBook. I actually paid for the eBook (PLR) and updated it to the way I wanted it, and I thought it would be a great freebie, but people are not signing up. They actually suggest selling the eBook for $4.99, but I wanted to give it to my visitors complimentary to build my list.
Thanks for all the great suggestions! I appreciate it.

I recently had to change my theme because it would not allow comments. The new theme I installed shows all my posts centered as opposed to being aligned to the left. Everything
Hi Lisa, I believe you're talking about the layout; probably at the time it's set to 2 sidebars with content centered. Look at customize theme in your dashboard and most likely you can select from different layouts; it sounds like you want content on left and right sidebar. Hope that helps!
Thanks, I already switched to another theme as I wasn't happy with the last one and I only had it 1 day.
Great Lisa, I realize I should have read some of the comments before me. Anyway, I would advice for you to choose a premium theme you like and get very familiar with it for the long run, that way you minimize problems down the road. I recently went that route and chose Genesis, which is robust and well documented, although it has a learning curve. Another I found worth looking into are Thrive themes, which are easier to customize for what I've read. Marion's suggestion is a good way to test free versions in the process, or even paid ones which you could be refunded if not happy. Best wishes!
Thanks Fleeky! That is way above my pay grade (lol)
I just switched to another theme, since I had only had that one for a day and wasn't real happy.
I can write good content, I can do great keyword research, but anything website related, I'm not so good.
I appreciate your help! :-)
Lisa
It may be due to the theme setting which I find quite strange. Anyway, if you like the theme and all you want to change is the text alignment, try to see the CSS element that controls the text and change it to left (I suspect it is center now).
If you want me to suggest the CSS change required, PM me your site and let me see if I can help further.
:)
Joe
It may be better if you keep looking for another WP theme that you are happy with.
However you could add the following code/text to each of your posts / pages and it may do the trick for you. Time consuming way I know, but it should work for you.
See attached image. Be sure to add both the instruction at the top of the article AND at the bottom of the article EXACTLY as provided.
The other way is to change CSS, usually in WP dashboard, appearance, customizer, additional CSS. However you have to know CSS to do this. And ensure that the CSS changes are still there after every time the WP theme is updated (if ever).
I still think you best option is to continue looking for a WP theme that you like.
I saw another website with the text centered and didn't like it.\
Elementor is a great page design tool but you should fix this in the theme template - which may not be easy. Every theme works differently. For a last resort you can probably fix it in the HTML code.
Lisa, can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing/doing so maybe we can help?
When you highlight all text and click the align left icon, does the text shift to left justified? And if so, when you update the post you are saying it reverts back to center justified text?
Choosing a theme we can be totally satisfied with can be a like a hard job. It took me a while to find one I could be satisfied with. And still, I'm not satisfied a 100%

I have been having problem when people are trying to comment on my website. They say they are getting a blank screen after hitting enter and the comment is not showing up. This

Thanks Elaine, I ended up changing my theme. I really wish I could have had a different outcome, as I really liked my other theme.

I know you said you can't get a hold of the theme people but that is what it seems like to me you have to change themes if you can't get a hold of them. Someone else on here is also having problems with comments. But her is she can not respond to the comments
Yes, I'm thinking that is what I am going to have to do, which is a bummer because I really like this theme.
Thanks!
I am sorry I have had to do a couple of times to themes that I really liked as well. Wish I had more advice for you
If the problem is both pages and posts, then you've probably got a plugin or theme related issue.
If it is just a problem for pages, make sure you have checked the box at the bottom of the page under "Discussion" to "allow comments."
Jim
It is both pages and posts. That was the first thing I checked. But I appreciate your response. Thanks :-)
It does sound like a theme issue. If they don't have good support, try doing a search regarding your problem related to the theme you are using, chances are other have had the same issue and may have a solution as well.
Hi James,
I had installed a fonts plugin, but I deleted after the problem arose, per the advice from site support. I have recently changed my theme too. I am part of Bo Tipton's mentoring group, and I have all the same plugins as the rest of the group. None of them are having any problems.
Lisa
Hi Lisa. Changing your theme, even though you really like this one, could easily upset your website. Before changing it to eliminate if this is causing you this issue, I would eliminate your plugins one at a time to see if any of these is causing some conflict. Don't deactivate your SEO plugin though. If nothing solves it, then I'm afraid you might need to try a different theme.
