Hi, I'm Tim :)

If we haven't met yet, feel free to drop me a comment below and say hi!

I joined WA because I was pulling at straws trying to create an income online. Turns out joining WA was one of the best decisions I've ever made and what I'd been searching for all along.

About me... I'm a super determined guy who believes you can achieve anything you set your mind to, as long as you work hard enough to get it! After going through the training and (most importantly) taking consistent action almost every single day, I managed to create an income online doing something I love. I'm not a guru and I don't have some kind of 'secret' trick to success. I just work my butt off and follow the training here. Plain and simple.

My #1 tip for newbies trying to make money online: STOP thinking about making money online. Really? Yes. Focus on the value you can GIVE to people. The more value you give, the more value you will receive in return. It is important to set your money goals and believe in them, absolutely! But successful online businesses are built based on the value you can give.

The training here within WA shows you the absolute best way to give people value with your website, and set yourself up for maximum success.

Follow your passion. Follow the training. It works.

Feel free to reach out to me if you need help with something. Why do I care? When I first started at WA I got all the help I needed to build my business, so I'm passionate about helping others succeed and achieve their goals!

Cheers,

Hi Tim:
I just found out that Google indexed my site. I was going to post a note but I was looking for images, but can't find where to get them. In the blank post, there's a link to the image page, but it's not working, or I'm missing something. Any ideas?
Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Congrats on getting indexed! Awesome stuff.

The image link within SiteContent should be working, if it's not I recommend contacting support to see what they say:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Alternatively, you can add images to your site directly. First download the image from somewhere like PixaBay.com and from there, upload it into your post. To upload an image, click on 'add media' and follow the prompts to upload your image.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Tim:

Thanks, I figured it out & got it to work. Have a strategy question:
I have a couple Keywords I can use for my site. See Below:

Keyword QSR Traf Avg
Exercises Tennis Elbow 106 886 5206
Exercises for Tennis Elbow 189 886 5206

Which makes more sense, the 1st one with a lower QSR, but poorer legibility, or the 2nd with the higher QSR but more legible?

Would I be better off with a lower QSR but lower volume?

Best Exercises for Tennis Elbow 54 25 144

My goal is to monetize Elbow Braces with this Post & Knee Braces with my next Post.

My other option is to go straight to Elbow Braces:

Keyword QSR Traf Avg
Best Tennis Elbow Brace 90 37 217
Best Braces For Tennis Elbow 48 14 80

I hate to give up the volume but is 189 QSR too high? Would
Exercises-Tennis Elbow work? I could make that work legibility wise, but would it cut down on the search results/traffic? I did some searches in Google using the different versions, but can't tell if there's any difference...

Thanks for your help.

Hi Steve,

Great questions, and I'm more than happy to help you out with this.

1) I ALWAYS go for a legible keyword. No matter what. So exclude "Exercises Tennis Elbow" unless you can use it within a headline that makes sense. Like "Exercises Tennis Elbow - 7 Ways You Can Beat This Once and For All".

2) Disregard 'Traf' and focus on 'Avg' and 'QSR' going forward.

3) I definitely recommend going for the lower QSR. A QSR of over 100 is very competitive for a new site like yours. I would absolutely be targeting much lower competition keywords to begin with. This way, you can compete with the 'big guys' much easier and establish authority with Google. Eventually, you will be able to tackle these higher competition keywords and rank a lot easier.

4) My favourite keyword is "Best Braces For Tennis Elbow". This is low competition and a good keyword. However, you could still target something like "Best Tennis Elbow Brace" but I would expand it if possible. See if people are searching for stuff like "Best Tennis Elbow Brace For ___ (fill in the blank)". There could be some gems in the mix so take your time to research different variations. The lower competition the better.

Hope this helps, and reach out if you have any other questions!

Cheers

P.S It's probably better to send me this stuff via PM going forward, because this is more a one on one coaching discussion is all.

Is there any way through WA to buy SEO. I have a friend that can give me the phone number of Indian Gurus that work full time for large corporation as full time SEO Engineers. They also like to do SEO on the side for $10 per hour. Any thoughts as I am going to invest $100 per month for 3 months to see if I can get on page one with my web site. I am the #1 on You Tube for the search Laser Golf Instruction.

Not that I'm aware of, no. WA teaches you how to get your site ranking but there's no option to pay someone to do it for you. So if you want to go this route then you'd need to look outside of WA.

Hey Tim, thanks for the feed back I'm just cruising through the first courses to get into it. I set up a niche of carbon roadbikes, but I am interested in niches that would be strategic. So I'm just going to continue to try to finish beginners school, and then get rolling, if you have any direction as far as mentorship and direction to hit the fast track that would be swell! Thanks DZ

Because the process works and I am here to help you as best I can.

Anyways, thanks for reaching out and talk soon!

Good morning,
After reading discussions about privacy policies, I went to review my site to make sure that I had all that I needed. LOL , I can not find the one that I first installed or the europe policy.
I went to pluggins and re-loaded the first policy we used. It said that the new Euro one was already activated. Well I can't find that one either.
I am sure that this is clear as mud!!!
I have to run so I did not have the time to keep pushing buttons. If you can figure out what I am asking .....answers would be great.
Thanks a lot, Heather

Hi Heather,

There's a couple of ways you can go about getting this sorted. Let's try this way first and see how we go.

1) Go to SiteContent ( https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/content )

2) Click on 'templates' up the top right of that screen

3) Click on 'privacy policy'

4) Insert a heading and modify this document to reflect your website URL where appropriate.

5) Click on publish, then select your site and make sure you click on 'page'.

This should publish the correct privacy policy to your site. From there, I would delete any of the old privacy policies from within your site.

To do that:

1) Login to your site

2) Click on 'pages'

3) Look for any old privacy policy pages you have and delete them

You can also check your 'posts' too just to be sure

Once you've done this, all you need to do is add this new privacy policy to your menu, so people can find it. Let me know if you want some help with this.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions or if you need more help getting this sorted.

Hi Tim,
I have been discouraged and very frustrated about this program. I am not technological, so I've been having a lot of trouble understanding things. I have to keep reading the lessons over and over. When I ask for help, I don't seem to get my questions answered correctly. Probably because I don't have the correct terminology. I still have not been able to complete my website, so I have given up.
I feel like canceling the whole thing.
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Ludmilla,

It's ok if you are not very technological, neither am I and neither are a lot of folks who are getting solid results here at WA.

The best advice I can give you is to follow the training and complete EACH task as you go. Each lesson has some tasks to complete so that way you don't get lost along the way, and you know exactly what you need to be doing to get results.

After writing this message, I'll re-send you a PM with a link to your day 15 bonus, which walks you through exactly how to get all the help you need, when you need it. You joined 3 months ago but since then I've updated it for the new interface of WA. So this will help you ask the right questions to the right people.

And I am here to help you too, so you can always reach out to me and I will be more than happy to help you out.

If you want to cancel, that's totally up to you. But I'm confident you can do this so I encourage you to work through this, and let me help you with your business.

Anyways, hoe this helps and I'll shoot you that PM now :)

Tim,

I'm trying to promote golf as you know thru my website justthingsgolf.com. I do want to help others and want to someday do this full time.

I am also promoting WA at YourAlternateIncome.com. So far I'm ranked in Google on my golf site but It seems I'm not getting any traffic. I am going for the low hanging fruit by the 30/30 rule.

I want to interest people in WA because I truly believe in the community, the training and value and the like.

I have been doing this for about 3.5 months with very little traffic and no sales.

i guess I'm looking for advice because I think you're the right guy.

Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kyle,

My advice is to focus on ONE website, and give it your full focus and attention. Both of these sites are good and have the potential to bring you a significant income over time, but I have found focussing on one site at a time in the beginning is far more beneficial. Especially when you have work commitments which you probably do.

To be completely honest with you, 3 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things. It literally took me 3 FULL months just to make a dollar, and it wasn't until 6 months in that I was earning regular small commissions. But that persistence is what led me to where I am now- earning a full time income doing affiliate marketing.

So my advice is to think of this like you are planting a tree, as funny as that may sound. You learn what you want to grow (your niche site), you do the planting (actually building your site and getting the foundational elements in place), then you water and continue to water your tree (add value to your niche, through your site, with your content and with PPC and YouTube if you like). As a result, over time you start seeing the fruit (traffic and sales). Which will lead to you developing a thriving business, which gives you the freedom and flexibility to completely change your life. And like a tree, you will reap the rewards for many years to come.

You just need to be willing to put that initial hustle in, and count the 'small' wins. Because they are ALL building towards your reaching your goals and in creating passive income with your site. At times it will be hard, yes, but as long as you don't quit you WILL succeed. There is no other way. I am yet to see anyone who didn't quit, fail at this. So you can and will succeed. Your sites are looking good, you just need to continue learning, applying and pushing forward.

Anyways, hope this helps Kyle, and I am here to help you in any way I can. So by all means reach out going forward!

Cheers

Hi Tim, I am stumbling on photos on my site. If I take a screen shot of an image in a catalog can I put it on my site?
I tried dropping it on goolge advance screen but it showed me all of the other places that are using these same images.

I have reviewed the lesson for this but still I am having trouble . Any extra thoughts would be great.

Hi Heather,

You can use images from within SiteContent if you're creating your content through the SiteContent platform, or if you're creating content directly within your actual site, you can use free image sites like PixaBay to get images.

I can't give you legal advice on whether it's ok to use images you take from other sources (ie. screenshots of other sites or images of products etc). However, if you're chasing images of the products you want to promote, then I recommend reaching out to the vendor/ affiliate program you are working with to request using some of their images.

Hi Lavern,

Not sure why you'd need to view the page source? That's not really something you need to worry about but it depends on which training you'e referring to, let me know and I'll check it out.

You will probably want a device that allows you to 'right click'. There are times you will need this but I guess just do what you can do if all you have is a touch screen, or research your device using Google, to see how you can achieve this with a touch screen. That's what I'd do.

Hi Tim. I was watching a video by Anthony Morrison. After watching it, I wanted to know if it was a scam. You had reviewed the video and there was a link in which I clicked on and ended up here. So far, I'm glad that I did. I was laid-off last year after working for a great company for 9 years and it seems that I am having the most difficult time finding employment. I have a PhD and I still can't seem to get hired. So, here I am, attempting something I've never done before and have always been skeptical about. I am 55 yrs. old and at this point in my life, failing is not an option.

Hi David,

Awesome, glad you found WA, and that you are finding the platform worthwhile.

I'm sorry to hear this, and I think this is a story many people can relate to. Highly skilled professionals being laid off because that's 'just the way it is'. I think the concept of job security these days is non-existent.

In my opinion, building an online business is far better and creates more security than any job can provide. Because YOU are in full control of your future, not some 'other person' higher up in the food chain. You put the work in, you reap the rewards, and no one can ultimately take that away from you.

I won't sugar coat it though. It does take time and effort to reach 'full time' status as an affiliate. But you can do it. Even if you are a complete newbie as I was in October of 2015 when I first started here. And it's well worth every effort.

Anyways, I recommend you keep going through the training and by all means reach out if you have any questions, I'm here to help you in any way I can.

Looking forward to working with you if you do decide to stick around! :)

Now I have some questions. I chose theme from Vogue for my website. They have their own Web press and it keeps coming up when I am trying to make changes in my back office. Since I don't know what I am doing yet it is confusing trying to navigate and get back to my WA Dashboard. Any suggestions?
Also they have suggested plugins for their theme. The lesson said there is a list of plugins to look at. Where would I find them so I can see what they are recommending? Should I automatically go with Vogue's recommendations?
Thank you
Cindy
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Cindy,

If the theme you have chosen recommends that you install plugins to make it work, or work how you want, then choose a different theme. Especially if that theme is trying to get you to buy something.

I always recommend going with a simple, clean looking theme. Because the most important thing is what you put into your website, not how it looks. Especially at first.

And you don't need to install ANY other plugins other than the free ones Kyle shows you in the training.

Hope this helps!

So, I'm ready to move my siterubix to my new domain. I had already done some affiliating on my site. Will that specific code transfer or do I need to go to the affiliate website: update them with the new domain, and then change the affiliate links within the new domain site?

Hi Brett,

You can just go ahead with the transfer, you do not need to change any of your affiliate links.

However, you may need to update the affiliate program with your new domain (URL) if they require this. You shouldn't need to do this, but feel free to send their support an email letting them know if you're concerned.

Hi Tim,

Just a heads-up: You invited me to ask you questions when needed and I have decided to take full advantage of your wisdom! I do, however, promise to research first so that I won't be a pest.

1. Do you think it best to build my site with a more personal, blog type platform? I ask because i have done tons of research on Jeep accessory sites and the ones I like are directed more at the parts than a person. I have been working on content, such as changing my headlights (win, win!), making a "How To" tutorial.

2. Also, I have a couple of names I have been throwing around. I would like your take on them.

MyjJeepLife.com
JeepGeneration.com
JeepHounds.com (a play on the Jeep Transformer...Hound)

Much thanks!

Jessica

TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Jessica,

Not a problem at all, more than happy to answer your questions :)

1) It does depend on the niche and you, as to how personal you want to make it. There is definitely value in 'humanizing' your brand though, this shows people you're real and will lead to more trust and engagement within your site. I prefer the content rich approach, where you are talking about all kinds of relevant topics, rather than just listing parts. This will lead to a much more authoritative site over time, and potentially a lot more traffic since you are offering unique value with your content. The more traffic you get the more money you can earn promoting stuff.

2) I do like these ideas but I would avoid using the word 'Jeep' within your URL as it's a registered trademark and not something you want to use. Maybe think of other words this audience would use or come up with something simple that will resonate with your audience.

Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Richard,

Yeah you won't be able to post a blog here within WA unless it's unique content, this is just a rule WA has in place to keep the content as unique as possible.

As long as you are running a WordPress site, then you can easily transfer it over to WA, and continue to build and grow your sites from here.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Not at all, Richard. More than happy to answer any questions you have :)

In terms of ranking in Google (the important thing), pages and posts are exactly the same.

The only real difference is that your posts (or an excerpt/ snippet of them) are displayed in chronological order on a designated page (often your homepage) so that people can find your latest posts. Whereas pages are not automatically listed anywhere, so you have to link to them within your menu or somewhere else on your site (ie. within your content) if you want people to find them.

But again, they rank the same in Google so people will still be able to find your page through search engines. Obviously how well they rank depends on how well you follow the training though.

There are two other difference worth mentioning though...

1) Pages normally have comments disabled by default. You can enable comments for all your pages through a master setting, or on a page by page basis. Not a big deal either way.

2) Pages cannot be put into 'categories'. So with posts you can categorise content based on what it's about. For example, you might have 50 posts under 'weight loss tips' and 74 under 'supplement reviews' if you run a weight loss site. Whereas if you create a page you cannot group content in this way.

In any case, you would typically use a page for stuff like privacy policy, terms, contact etc. or anything you don't think people will want to read as they scroll through your latest posts.

Just stick with using posts for the majority of your content. The training walks you through ALL of this so nothing is left to chance. You will know exactly what you're doing and when to use a page or post as you progress through the training.

Hope this helps! Cheers

I earn commissions when people join WA through me, so this is the only way I can viably help people on such a personal level, and still make a profit, without actually charging for my time.

So you learn how to complete your website, and generate revenue with your site, within the training. Not sure where you are up to exactly, but there are 5 levels of training all up. Im stuck and need a little advice.., My Niche idea is about a focus on specific group. but Im not really selling a product. Im focusing on blue collar and white collar work labels and wanting to create an online site that caters to both by offering DIY videos and a few different products, that anyone of them may want to use?
does that make any sense to you?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Chris,

A niche is really just a group of people anyway, so you are on the right track by thinking in terms of groups of people you want to help.

However, targeting 'blue and white collar' workers is quite broad and is not really a niche. You would want to get more specific than this. So what would your DIY videos be about?

So for example, ask yourself something like... " I want to help blue collar workers that __" and fill in the blank. Try to think of what specific problem you are solving for them with your site and you will be much closer to coming up with a good niche idea.

Feel free to swing some ideas past me via PM if you like too.

Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi: Yes, it had become a challenge to get a foothold online than you wonder where did the money and the time go. It had to be several years now! wow.

I would catch them in lie's and still tried to hang in there. Until the money ran out. Then they could just disappear and I couldn't find them again. My wife said she would never put any of her money
online again. She really doesn't really know what I'm doing. I told her I would let her know when the money hits the account. Well, that hasn't happened yet but I believe it will happen.

Hi Arthur,

Yeah it's challenging finding legit ways to earn money online. For sure. I think most of us can relate to what you're saying. I certainly can.

The thing with WA is that it's not a 'system'. It's a place to get a real education in affiliate marketing. So it takes time but if you stick with it you absolutely will see results. Because the training works and the potential within the online world is massive.

I think a lot of people are naturally skeptical, it's only once you're making money they start to take you seriously. Which was pretty much the case within my circle of family and friends too. Before that I'm pretty sure most of them thought I was 'playing' games or something lol. It's kind of frustrating but it's just the way it is. I think mostly because the majority of people don't do this sort of thing, they work the 9-5 like I once did (more like 6am-8pm though). So they struggle to comprehend how something like this could actually be real. But it is. You just need to be willing to work at it.

Anyways, thanks for reaching out Arthur, and looking forward to continuing to work with you!

>when writing content should I be filling in the section below that says keywords?
>is it beneficial to requests comments and feedback on my site?

I am a little apprehensive about writing a review on another product, I really don't have much knowledge on other programs in affiliate marketing. I guess I could write one on other keyword apps or website building apps.

Hi Brian,

1) No. This is called a 'meta keyword' and it's not something you want to be concerned with, as it has absolutely zero use these days. So do not use this.

2) Yes. The more feedback you get on your site the more you are going to be able to improve your site. Try not to take every point within every piece of feedback as gospel, as it's just people's opinion. But overall it can be very helpful. Comments can be a good tool to increase the value of your content and encourage more of an open conversation with your audience. So getting comments is a good thing :)

You don't have to write reviews. There are TONS of great keywords outside of reviews so just review stuff you feel comfortable with and work on creating other content alongside this.

Hope this helps!

Hey Tim I hope all is well. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time and going out of your way to really welcome me and all of us newbies. I think I can speak for everyone who is new that you make us feel comfortable and like truly have our back through this process. How can I get my wife set up as a new account or at least lay it out for her and let her decide for herself? I honestly think she would be amazing at this and enjoy it. Thanks again

Hi Michael, you are very welcome and thanks for reaching out. I really appreciate your words :)

To get your wife started you'll want to send here to your WA affiliate link, so that you get the credit if/ when she signs up. So you just copy your WA affiliate link and maybe send her an email with that link might be easiest at this point, unless you have your site setup.

In any case, to get your link you just need to go to this page:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/links

Let me know how you go and if you have any other questions. Cheers

Thank you TimMckinlay for the kind support that I needed to hear. I am working and trying to take this on as a secondary job. It will happen. I will do my hardest to apply all that I can. Hello, my name is Monique, it is nice to meet you. So far everything is going good. I am at the part where I start to design my web page. I do like some of the premium designs, but I can not use them yet and I am having problems locating a web design that does not require me to upgrade to premium before I am able to do so. Is there a way that I can design my own web design. It is my first web page and I am really excited about it. I would like it to be completely mine by creating my own web page. I appreciate any help that you can offer me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Monique,

Yeah so the websites here at WA are built with WordPress, which is based on 'themes' or template designs. WordPress is awesome for many reasons (the important ones like ranking in search engines) but to create your own site from scratch means learning how to code. Which I do not recommend as it's unnecessary for earning an income as an affiliate.

There is a LOT of flexibility in terms of what you can create with WordPress, it's just not 'drag and drop' simple to make major modifications to your theme. So the best thing to do is pick a theme you like and make minor changes which is easy.

I know you said you were struggling to find a theme you like, but my advice is really to not worry about your theme too much. With this business, the more important thing is to be getting the foundation of your business setup and focus on the actual content within your site with how the training shows you.

This is what will lead to rankings, traffic and sales. Then, in time, once you have these foundational elements in place and you're earning, then you can spend more time on the look of your site. Fine tuning it to get it how you want.

It's totally up to you what you do, but in terms of making a profit this is what I recommend. Choose a simple theme and focus on the more important elements like content.

Anyways, hope this helps Monique and by all means reach out if you have any other questions going forward. Cheers

I have been thinking about opportunities and I know I had mentioned personal development. My thoughts are focused on the power of positive thinking and how to achieve wealth. This is a competitive niche and wonder how you are doing with being a WA affiliate? I love to read books about positive thinking and desire, erasing the negative in your life whether it be people or experiences from your own past. Thoughts?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Brian,

A competitive niche means people are making money. So while it does pay to target lower competition keywords within your content with a new site especially, you can still dominate high competition niches. It just takes time.

I do well promoting WA. Within arguably the most competitive niche of all. So if I can do this then there's absolutely no reason you can't either. As long as you are passionate about what you are doing and plan to put in the effort, you can and will succeed.

The process is the same regardless of the niche. You give people valuable content, which brings you visitors. You can then promote great products to your visitors, which earns you revenue. It's very simple when you break it down and it's a process anyone can follow.

Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Tim, Sorry to bug you once again. Your explanations are usually more helpful to me, that is the reason I come here often.
My concern now is this;
I still don't quite understand how niches as explained at phase 1 lesson 2 relate to the promotion of Wealthy Affiliate. If for example iam interested in helping single mothers and women generally to achieve some financial freedom, aside writing on "how to make money online " what else should I be writing on that would be of help to them. Anything explanation/suggestions would be appreciated please.
Thanks a million for your time.

Hi Regina,

So my advice is two-fold.

First, know that pretty much everyone on the planet can benefit from WA. I mean, how many people do you know that can't benefit from earning, even just some extra money? Let alone the benefits of creating passive income. What you will find is that the vast majority of the 3-4 billion people online can benefit from WA in one way or another.

Second, try not to think of your content as 'promo material'. It must be relevant, but it certainly doesn't need to have a promotional element within in. Quite the opposite in fact. You do not want to just try to be selling people stuff. You want to actually give them useful content, so even if they don't buy something through you, they've had a beneficial interaction with your site.

Here's some examples...

Say your site is about 'side hustles for single Moms' or something. There are literally 1,000's of awesome keyword ideas for this niche alone. There's the obvious topics like 'how to make more money as a single Mom' but you can go MUCH more granular than this.

For example: 'ways to earn extra money while on maternity leave/ breast feeding/ caring for children etc. Or 'ways to earn extra money as a __ (insert job role- there are hundreds of good ideas here). Now this may not be specifically aimed at single moms but it is relevant, and you can personalise your content for this unique audience.

You can also step away entirely from 'making money' related posts. Stuff like "grants for single moms going to college" is an excellent keyword. If you rank for this you could rank for dozens of related keywords (overall there's a lot of traffic potential within that one article alone). Or something like "homeschooling as a single mom" can work too. You can literally write about ANYTHING relevant that your audience will find useful.

These last ideas may not be about making money, but they are highly relevant to your niche. And when you have targeted traffic on your site, you can promote WA in a highly relevant manner, which will lead to conversions (sales).

Hopefully this has given you some insight into things so you can begin looking at the different topics you can write about. Also, I found this video training super helpful for coming up with a massive list of keywords: Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Mary,

Not at all, I'm happy to help you out here :) So it sounds like you just need to make sure you are linking to this page within your menu. The page itself exists (by the sounds of it), but if you don't link to it from within your menu then no one will be able to find it.

So the best thing to do is watch this training on creating menus: This will show you how menus work and how to make sure you have what you want in your menu.

Hi Tim - I found Wealthy Affiliate today because of your blog post - I was checking out AWOL - which is another training site for affiliates - but they are charging $17,997 for an elite program and there are other high ticket training packages too. I just paid $99 for their AWOL Pro Academy and $49 to get into their FB community which is NOTHING like this community.

I came across a post of yours about WA - and I tried to sign up and it told me I was already a member. I clicked the "Forgot my Password" link and got a link to get in. I signed up in April of 2013 - I must have signed up as a free member -- so I wanted to thank you for the re-introduction. I like WA so far- I signed up as a Premium. I am checking out the training- and the community is very active.

I have since moved my site to my domain about a month ago. Though I have effected the changes in the name on my domain website and the url has the new name in it, but the problem is that on the theme it is the old name that is there.
My question is, how do I change this old name to the new One?

Hi Tim. I'm still waiting to hear back from Kyle regarding signing up for premium through your affiliate link. I'm curious - does Kyle REALLY help folks as they go through the training? His silence (and all his canned bot messages) have me worried about what you talk about in your email autoresponder about "guru's" doing good at getting you to sign up for their program and leaving you high and dry. I've got 1 day before the $19 discount ends and I really am hoping I can use your affiliate link to sign up. I think it would be great to get your extra support. But....no response from Kyle. Thoughts?

It seems you joined through WA directly so it's probably too late to change it now. There's nothing really I can do about that unfortunately. I do reserve most of my time for my referrals, but I still do help others in the WA community so by all means reach out to me if you want some guidance :)

Kyle should (and normally always does) reply. He's the real deal and absolutely will help you, same goes for Carson. I know this even more now because I literally just got back from the WA Vegas conference and met Kyle and Carson in person. I can say without a doubt they are among the most ethical and sincere people I know. I am SO proud to be part of WA now more than ever. They do get a lot of messages though as you can imagine, so sometimes it can take time to get a reply. But normally they reply within 2-3 days. So by all means reach out to Kyle and Carson directly via PM and they will help you.

Hope this helps and welcome to WA :)

Hi Tim,
I would be very grateful for your help on this issue. I was trying to publish a privacy policy on a website I just built but got the warning below.what should I do?
Secondly, should I want to delete a post on my website, how do I go about it?
Grateful for your quick response and thanks for your time.

Hi Regina,

The system is just telling you the content you're trying to publish is not unique. The reason it's not unique is because you have copied and pasted the privacy policy from the training, which is exactly what you want to do. It's ok for your privacy policy to be a copy, it is not meant to rank in Google at all so disregard that warning.

To delete a post you just log into your website and click on 'posts'. Then, just hover over the title of the post you want to delete and the option to 'trash' comes up.

Hope this helps :)

Hi Tim, I haven't " seen you on the inside " or heard from you since I joined about eleven days ago....lols. You promised me personal mentoring and support, remember? Now I really need your help here.
In the beginning I did the OEC training up to level 2 lesson 2 and during that training i built a website and bought a domain. Upon Kyle's advice I paused with that training and moved over to bootcamp training ( i intend to complete that training later).
Now I am required to build a website at the bootcamp training.
My question is since I had earlier bought a domain, in building this new site , on which of the 3 options on the screen shot below do I commence my building?
I need your answer urgently to enable me to go on as I donot want to do anything to mess things up for myself.

Hi Regina,

I can understand your frustration. But the reason you haven't heard from me, is because you didn't actually join WA through me.

I just checked out your profile page and I can see you joined directly through WA itself. This is why you never received a welcome message from me, which all of my referrals get when they join through my affiliate link.

This can happen for a number of reasons, but the most common is if you didn't join WA directly after clicking on my affiliate link. Or you don't have 'cookies' enabled in your browser. But there can be other reasons too so I am only speculating here.

In any case, this is why you haven't heard from me. But all the same I am happy to help you with your question here :)

Ok so each new website you build, you get the option to use a free ( .siterubix.com ) domain name OR your own 'top level' domain name ( example.com ). So you can choose to use either a free or paid domain. If you use a free domain, good and well. You can still get rankings and traffic this way. However, it is always best to use your own top level domain if you can. So I recommend getting yourself a new domain for 14 bucks (per year) as you will get better rankings in my experience.

You don't have to buy your domain name here either, but it does work out very cost effective and it does make your life easier when you do so. Because your WA purchased domain name integrates perfectly with your WA website.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any followup questions. Cheers

Hi Tim Kyle and Carson and then you were the first faces I saw on WA, or maybe your face was first I can't fully remember but I know your smile intrigued me and the horse I got on led me to believe this site was totally different than all the rest. I want to help everyone that's who I am; and I know that something good is happening here because you treat everyone the same when they come to this site. That's the foremost part of it that drew me in and got me to sign up for premium. Personally because I don't know to much about exploring how the internet system works I do know that the sky's the limit and everyday I learn something new. When I finally get my website up and running I will say to myself, oh yahhhh now I see it; now I know it and then off to learning something. Our minds are like sponges so when we think we have forgotten something it may come back to us later. Thanks for inviting me to this site and making something new of my life and knowing that there are others who want to achieve a new outlook in life to create greater stability as a Community. I know that someone will answer my questions and I will leap over these walls that have held me back for quite a long time. Thanks again. Carla

Absolutely, the sky is the limit in terms of what you can achieve. As long as you put consistent effort into learning and applying, there's nothing beyond your reach. I remember when Kyle was encouraging me when I first started, saying my business would "snowball" in due course. Admittedly I found it hard to believe at first because I hadn't gotten very far at that point, but it's so true. Every effort you put forth now builds on the last. Before you know it, you are kicking goals and people are asking you for help! So I have every confidence that you will be successful.

hey Tim i had a question. this is only an example but what if i based my website on brewing beer niche how am i gonna make money blogging about that? i know theres more training that probably covers that but am only on the starter package right now but its breaking my head trying to figure out how all that works.
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hey Manuel,

Absolutely, you can create a site about brewing beer. The training does show you this in more detail but I'm happy to give you an overview on how it all works.

The first thing you need to do is break the niche down into it's main segments by researching, and decide on what your site is going to be about. So your site could be about "home brew beer" which is broad but can still work. Or you could narrow it down to "organic home brew beer" or "home brew beer kit reviews" for example. I wouldn't go too crazy with this, just pick something that makes sense and that you are interested in writing about. Trying to find the 'perfect niche' is a mistake, it's a lot more important to just get rolling as a newbie. You are going to learn a lot by doing this.

Next, you setup your website which is really easy with WA. The training shows you how to do this as a free member too.

Then you learn all about keyword research. This is how you know what your audience is searching for in Google, and what your content will be about. A keyword is just a search term someone types into Google and you create your content to target those keywords. This is how you get high quality, free traffic (visitors) from search engines like Google and Bing.

Then you promote stuff on your website. There are tons of great affiliate programs within this niche. I recommend you Google "home brew beer affiliate program" and see what you can find as a start. Even Amazon sells this stuff so that's a good option too. You could promote home brew kits, DIY courses, recipes and pretty much anything relevant. The cool thing with this is people will repeat buy the recipe kits too, so there's some real evergreen income potential there. In any case, there's plenty of relevant products within this niche and plenty of potential for profit when you get into the swing of it.

So that's the general outline without writing a novel. To get the step-by-step process and make this happen, you'll need to follow the training within WA. You don't have to go Premium but it's well worth it if you can. You are going to learn a lot and set yourself up for success in doing so.

Hope this helps and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions :) Cheers

Thank you so much for all the support. I have some questions before building my website. I would like to go premium so that I can get more help. But maybe a year from now, I want to stop being premium is that possible?

And can I add a button in my site, so it can transulate to portuguese?

Before I start the product and niche, I have some ideias, can you please tell me if I am making the write choice:

- How to get a flat stomach, and here I could recomend dieting and a specific workout.

- products to rejuvenate and the ideal make up for a quick natural look.

- Self help getting over Depression

I would also like to know, where I could get content, banners, pictures etc when I choose a product.

Thank you

Hi Denise,

You are very welcome, I'm happy to help you out :)

You can stop being Premium whenever you like, and transfer your sites to another host no probs. Cancelling your account is a super easy process and one I can help you with if you need me to.

Not really sure about translating a site in another language. Unless your site is targeting a specific country, I'd be writing in English and letting the web browser (example Google Chrome) translate your site for you automatically. Although there are plugins you can use to help translate I am pretty sure. I can certainly help you with this if need be.

All of these niche ideas can work, tons of potential here. I personally recommend choosing one niche to start with though, until you get into the swing of things. Then move into other niches. But it's up to you. In any case, out of those three ideas I would be choosing the topic you are most interested in helping others with. Your main role as an affiliate is going to be helping your audience, so pick the niche you are most passionate about/ interested in. I can also help you refine the niche once you decide on one of those, so you have a clear path forward to making your site profitable.

You will get banners etc from the affiliate program you choose to work with. The training shows you how to signup to relevant affiliate programs and get all of that stuff from there. You will be writing the content on your site though, unless you plan on outsourcing it to someone. Which I don't recommend this early on. The training shows you how to create awesome content, which leads to rankings and traffic in search engines like Google and Bing.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions going forward :) Cheers

Really enjoyed reading your profile and a number of reviews on your web site. You have done an unbelievable amount of leg work to help the rest of us understanding what really lies behind many of the "make money online easily" ads.

You really do create value and I expect to see your name among those going to Las Vegas Super Affiliate Conference in 2018.

I have been here two years and it has been personally very rewarding to create a family history web site that individual relatives appreciate. Now I want to see if I can follow in your footsteps and develop a website to help seniors and babyboomers understand what is behind bitcoin and the blockchain.

I will be reading your Posts.

Hey Roger, I appreciate your kind words and support! Turns out I am going to Vegas so you were spot on there ;)

Love your idea for a site, the cypto space is full of opportunity. I've been considering going into that space myself actually, but I'm pretty busy with my other sites so I haven't done proper research on it yet. So many avenues to explore and absolutely something you can be successful with. I'd certainly read your blog so send me a PM when it's running :)

Thanks for reaching out Roger, and I wish you the best of success in 2018! Cheers

Yea - I couldn't believe that prediction came true. Your website was so engaging and you had done so much work - if you didn't make it, it would be literally an impossibility for me. Was it a written goal you had made before or just a result of your efforts and persistence?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Not sure that I wrote that goal down (probably should have lol) but I just knew this was something I wanted to achieve and worked hard to make it happen.

I think you'd be surprised at how simple it really is to make Vegas to be honest. It seems so far off in the beginning, it did for me too, but it's actually very achievable for anyone. Once you get the process right it's really just scaling things up.

I think more than anything it's just a matter of giving yourself the time you need to succeed. So persistence is a huge part of it.

For me the biggest battle was finding something legit to begin with. So once I found WA it was full steam ahead. The 'work' part was easy for me when I knew I had something real.

I agree with you Roger! Although I am a fresh newbie, got here to this site through Tim... I was researching an online wesite building learn academy and read Tims review on that company, then followed his link to here!
I too have learned so much just by reading the questions ppl are asking him and applying it to my own situation, plans for a website and how that could generate money.
Keep being Extraordinary Tim!

First of all, i want to thank you for everything you are doing for me. If you go to the website: https://www.budgetebooks.com

If you see where Menus are you will the contact page menu, and if you open it you will see a banner to.

I put both of them in the bottom widget and they ended up there at the top. Site support said there be something wrong with the theme.
Have you ever seen that before?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hey Veril, you're welcome, I'm always happy to help out :)

Sounds like you are talking about the banner at the bottom of your contact page? If so, that is a theme related issue. Because your theme dictates where the widgets will be placed. Short of messing with the code on your site (which I don't recommend) it may be worth choosing a different theme or leaving that banner out. There are tons of awesome themes to choose from though so no big loss either way.

Let me know how you go! Cheers

Hi @VerilGillett! I'm Rita! Just signed up myself. Taking the plunge after realizing I needed to be free from the constraints of a job that did not align with my ethics and found myself in a boot camp for coding software/web development as an early option. So reading about your problem with the banner I thought, yes as Tim pointed out the only way to make it do what you want is to code the widget to come at the place in your page where you want it. The theme templates are nice because it's been done for us noobs in a nice package without having to have coding background. This being said, if your really like ur current theme and that is the one thing you'd like to change, it shouldn't be a big coding problem, quite simple really but for sake of keeping it simple as Tim recommends you could just keep it thay way. If you really want this change but wish to keep your current theme, you may try asking your local coding school if they have a student who wants to help you tweak it in exchange for an endorsement for the student coder's future portfolio that may get you the help you need with no cost to you. From what I see it's a pretty simple modification that could be fixed by one of those in their field of interest.

I myself will no doubt be tinkering with mine a bit when I get there...lol!

Hope that helps!

Hey Tim,

I'm a professional Astrologer trying to seek more clients to do strictly Astrology full time, until then I've been working another mundane job semi-full time just to make ends meet.

I have so many questions on how to create the website I need to advertise, can I use photos from my library to create the background wall paper? Can I put a video? Can I put indivual pages in the website? Have you heard of Weebly? I've been using the app on both my smart phone and tablet but I'm barely getting any views.

How likely will people see this one I'm about to create here on wealthy affiliate?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Argentata,

You can use whatever images you like in your website, but as far as a background image, this really depends on your chosen theme. The best way to do this, is find a theme that has a background image, and change it to your image. Or, you can follow this tutorial to do add a background image in any theme: Although the above link takes you to a more advanced training, that I don't recommend you worry about at this stage. The look of your website is really not the important thing anyway at this stage as you will soon learn. So I wouldn't be too concerned about this.

Yes, you can put videos on any page you like, and you can create individual pages in your website. All of this is covered in the training.

The difference between Weebly and WA is, here you have a LOT more than just a 'website builder'. The reason no one is visiting your site, is because you have to learn how to get traffic to your site. Which places like Weebly do not show you as far as I know.

The main method of getting traffic to your site (as taught here in WA) is creating useful content for your audience. You learn how to find low-competition keywords, create content based on those keywords, and Google, Yahoo and Bing will rank your content. Which means, all going to plan, you get free traffic.

So in your case, you would focus on finding keywords related to astrology, create content based on those keywords, and in time your content will rank for those keywords. Which means you will get quality, free traffic, which means you can make money promoting whatever it is you promote. A course, an ebook or a product of some kind.

I'm sure you will have a lot of questions still, which is perfectly normal. I recommend you follow this training carefully (step-by-step) so you can learn exactly what I am talking about, and how to apply this in your business.

Hey Tim,
I left a link and indicated I'd reciprocate in the "Give and Take" section. I actually left 3 comments and didn't get a response back at all. Curious, that's not normal is it? I left my website and indication of reciprocity again and I hope that isn't a problem either.

Hey John,

The best way to get comments on your site, is to use the official WA comments function here:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/comments/requests

This guarantees that if you give 2 comments, you will receive 1 comment in return. This is a lot more reliable than various pages where people 'give and take', because it's a moderated system.

Does this help?

Hi, Tim,

You are the one who brought me to WA after reading a review of yours about Clickbank University and CB Builder 2.0, the upsell after I joined CBU. I resisted the temptation to jump on the upsell after reading your review, since I have already taken or followed several other online marketing gurus, training, etc., at considerable cost, many of which seem to be a platform for selling their own products or promoting others as an affiliate.

I will stick with WA starter program and CBU basic training for now until I am convinced to invest more. I truly believe in the potential of online marketing and ecommerce, but at this point, I am suffering from info overload and shiny object syndrome. I have a pretty good grasp of the concepts, but now need more help with the putting it together and taking action on it. I am hoping WA can do that for me quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Once I start making even a bit of money, I will gladly invest commensurately more and more as I progress. I look forward to this journey.

I don't think that I will ever be able to build my website. I have been trying, and I have about 6 sites. It;s confusing. Do u know of anyone that I can get to build it for me? I really don't know a lot about this technology. Can I delete most of my websites and start all over?
Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hey Myra, thanks for reaching out :)

If you've already created 6 sites then you must be doing something right! :) Building your site with WA is something you can absolutely get a handle on, I'm sure of it. I recommend that you take your time with it. Try to do ONE step at a time, and note down anything you are unsure of along the way. Then PM me with each question you have and I will walk you through what you need to do.

Yes, you can delete all of your sites if you want, and start again from scratch. See screenshot attached to learn how it's done.

You could hire someone I guess, but it's worth getting your head around this stuff because your goal is to create content on your site, so you can get traffic and make money promoting stuff.

I recommend keeping your site super simple. Choose a basic theme like 'Omega', build your core pages as per the training, and then just focus on keywords and content. That's it. Don't worry about getting your site 'perfect' or anything like that. Just do the basics. In this game, it's not about fancy websites, it's about what goes into them- good content based on good keywords.

Hope this helps, and reach out if you have any other questions moving forward :)

We all started somewhere, myself included. So I'm a big believer in that if I can do it, you can too. The most important thing is to just keep at it. Each new thing you learn and each step you take, will build on your success. Before too long you will see the rewards of your hard work and see that is was all well worth it!

Reply
TimMcKinlay Premium
Hi Keyondrea, nice to meet you too :)

Regarding your question, it depends entirely on where you are getting paid from.

WA shows you how to setup a business as an affiliate. So the idea is to join an affiliate program (like Amazon for example) and they pay you commissions on any sales you make. I won't explain the entire concept here, because it's all explained in detail within the training. But the affiliate program itself (for example Amazon Associates) pays you. How each affiliate program pays you, depends on the affiliate program. Some pay direct to your bank, some PayPal, others by cheque.

To learn how to promote anything, and join ANY affiliate program, start this training: If you join WA's affiliate program however, and make sales, you get paid via PayPal at the start of each month. From there, you can withdraw your earnings into your bank account.

To learn how to promote WA, go to this training: Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Hi, Tim! Thanks for the introduction. I am really new at this idea but I like your views as to how to succeed at this venture. It makes a lot of sense to me that earning money should not be your primary focus. As I read your quote: "My #1 tip for newbies trying to make money online: STOP thinking about making money online." I too believe that anything you do with passion will be a good stream for earning income. That said, I am thinking as we speak of how my passions can meet new financial potentials. I hope to use this program as a bridge to getting there. Would love it if you can help me to cross that bridge. I am excited about the possibilities.

Thank you for contacting me again. I appreciate this support.

I have three questions:

1. I saw a post by a member of WA indicating that WA paid him some money. I thought that WA only teach people how to get business running, how does WA pay a member?
2. I saw somewhere that I need to introduce 300 persons to WA. How does this work? Does WA operate as a network?
3. If I decide to sign up for the premium membership after my first one week expires, do I lose the discount?

Kind regards,

Hey Joseph,

1) WA has an affiliate program, which means you can optionally promote the services WA provides if you choose. It's a great affiliate program so it's worth looking into if your keen.

2) You don't have to introduce 300 people, only if you want to make it to the Vegas affiliate conference hosted by WA. You can learn more about that here: 3) I'm pretty sure you can still get the discount after 7 days. But the emphasis is placed on 7 days because after this point, your free account is limited in some respects.

Good morning Tim, I just wanted to run this by you so that I can get your advice on it.
I am having trouble with changing up the way I was going. I am on lesson 9 of course 1 and I am now feeling I should come up with another niche because I have been going along wanting to have the money making niche and I'm just not sure I want to tackle that 1st off.
Can you please help me by possibly offering some options as I go forward from here?

Hey Tammy,

For sure, it can be a good idea to start with a niche outside of 'make money' for several reasons. One being it gives you a chance to make money first, then you can relate to people how this worked for you.

But it depends on what you are passionate about. There are many ways (low competition ways too) to promote WA. Apart from the obvious.

The first thing I recommend you to do, is to think about what you like doing, things you are interested in personally.

Then, go through the first bonus I sent you. In this training, I help you generate ideas, and help you figure out if there is potential in those ideas.

Also, send me a private message if you want to run specific ideas past me. Even if you have a broad idea, I can help you drill down to find a good niche.

To send me a PM, scroll up and hit 'private message'. That's the best way to work on this moving forward.

Talk soon!

Hi, Tim, I have problem in managing the content of my website, If I search on google there is written like:
About Me - Be a Oneleo Star
oneleostar.com/about-me

... oneleoStar · About Me · Privacy Policy. About Me. Coming Soon ! Home · Welcome To oneleoStar· About Me · Privacy Policy · Proudly powered by WordPress.

Why is my about page coming on google, and why all this other details.
Why my main page is not coming there.

Hey Asad, I just took a look at your site and it seems every page (when you look at the tabs on the browser) has the term "Be a Oneleo Star" after it.

I'm not an expert on some of these more technical matters, but it has something to do with your SEO settings I believe. For some reason, the term "Be a Oneleo Star" is attached to the title of every page you create.

I recommend showing the attached screenshot of the source code of your 'about me' page to support. As you can see, the area highlighted in orange is the culprit. There should ONLY be 'about me' inside the <title></title> tags.

My guess, it's either your theme settings/ crap theme/ or the most likely, the settings within your SEO plugin.

Let me know how you go.

Hi Tim, I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know what is going on. I am really into the path that is set up here at WA. I am learning so very much in so many different ways. The lessons are outstanding and I really enjoyed my 1st live webinar with Jay just last night. I am also getting a lot of encouragement and positive feedback from fellow members via commenting on one another's messages or posts.

Loving my journey here at WA,

Hi Tim...
Great to heard about you. I am starting here as it makes me clear that this is possible to get success if I am willing to work hard and smart, and in the process I am sure that I will enjoy it and learn a lot about internet, mkt, etc.
Ok... any advice you can give is welcome, as I am planning to run a website about Artificial Intelligence applications in any kind of human activities... I've been around this topic for 6 years or more and I find it very exciting.. it is something I really enjoy with all the things it involves (programming, applications, electronics, etc.)

Thank for you time and hope we can come across in this process, and all the recommendations you can give me are welcome. Now, I feel a bit anxious but I know everything is gonna be ok I thank to life starting at this time and at my age and not latter :)

see you!

Hey Mike, it's great to have you as part of the community :)

That's awesome you have knowledge, experience and a passion for this field. There are so many possibilities with this, and you could absolutely create a profitable website in this niche.

My advice would be to try and drill down a bit. Rather than start an 'artificial intelligence' site, you may get better results if you specialize somewhat. For example, AI in the medical field, in the home, for business analytics (massive potential here if you can help businesses with advanced analytics like IBM Watson) or in any number of industries. Think about what products are in this space already, and ones that are coming out too.

If you can't think of anything, you could also look into products/ niches associated with advanced technology such as home security, drones, smart robots and so on. There are many possibilities here.

The best thing to do is follow the training to learn about keyword and niche research. By doing this you will start to see how you can tap into some of these niches and launch a profitable site.

Hope this helps, reach out if you need anything!

Thanks for your advice... Actually that's something I was thinking about... to apply a 'somehow shorten', I mean, to reduce this AI niche as it is very extensive. I am interested in Data analysis, that has to do with Machine Learning; another topic which I am interested in is Neural networks in its connective approach. Well, now I am getting course 1 lesson 3 if I am ok, where the niche definition is reviewed. So these next few days will be critical for me to choose the niche I will be working in.

Awesome, sounds good. Data analysis is HUGE and definitely something people are interested to know more about. You could target these topics towards anyone with a website, or local businesses or any number of fields.

Keep at the training, and let me know how you go!

Hi Tim... Now I just decided to start with this niche: Data Analysis (which involves Machine Learning techniques) in busineeses and industrial applications, it can even be targeted to people interested in a data analysis applications for a particular goal.
This will involves to create content for example, comparing software brands, making recommendations, posting information and links to courses, and obviously, Mkt focused on this area.

So, please let know your opinion...

Hi Miguel, I love your idea and it sounds like you've been doing your due diligence! Nice work.

Try to come up with a site title/ domain name that describes what your site is about, and (optionally) includes your "main" target keyword naturally.

Then, come up with 5-10 "main" topics/ categories that you will cover within your content. For example, one of these could be "data analytics for small business" and another could be "software reviews" and so on. This is going to form the foundation of your website and content moving forward.

You will then want to (if/ when you can) continue with the training to level 2-5 where you will learn about keyword research, content creation and so on and start building your site out so you can generate traffic and sales.

Anyways, good work Miguel and reach out if you need anything.

Cheers :)

I've created my own domain website and need help with it being indexed by google, I've found good keywords so far and I don't what to do.
-Bowling Equipment.com
I've searched this in the site domain and it turns out it would work very well with high searches and being a keyword. I'm confused to why it has yet to be indexed yet by google, how long does it normally take for my website to get ranked by google?

"I've created my own domain website and need help with it being indexed by google"

This is covered in the training steps, go back through these. Also, this will help: " I'm confused to why it has yet to be indexed yet by google, how long does it normally take for my website to get ranked by google?"

This is perfectly normal.

Once you create your site, and a sitemap as per the training, you will submit your site to Google for indexing. It can then take days/ weeks for your site to be indexed. There is no one that can give you a set time for this, it has nothing to d with WA. This is Google. That being said, most people have their site indexed easily within a week, so don't stress.

Also, it is not just about keywords.

Just because you have a domain name with a good keyword in it, does not guarantee you will rank. Not at all. You must have good content on your site for Google to deem your site as one that offers people value. You need to be creating useful content as per the training.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Thanks for the email Tim. I took yesterday off because of doctor appointments with the va. I will start following people like you, carson, and Kyle soon. I bought the premium plan and so far I love the fact that I havee so muchh more help with it and I can hopefully go through the lessons and start generating some money soon. Even if its a couple bucks. It will reassure me I'm on the right path and I've also got my first website up and that's where I will have questions on how to make it ranked in Google.gonna get to my next lesson now and I'm sure ill be asking you and anyone else who can help for help.
Thanks again, Jeff

Awesome Jeff, sounds good!

Personally, I'd keep my focus off the money for now, and more on the value you can give to people in your niche. I know this may sound a little crazy since you are here to make money, but it is the key. I promise you. It took me 3 months just to make $1.17 lol... but that did make things more real for me so I know what you mean. Being successful in this game really is about persistence above all. It's really just a matter (with WA or some other method) of giving yourself the time you need to succeed. You will get there if you want it bad enough, and I'm here to help you along the way.

Cheers

Hi Tim. Thank u so much for yr help. I am setting up my website. I put some content (writing a few posts) and I just need some pictures too. I have chosen a natural products for a niche, like organic products, I mean, personal care, natural fibers for yr clothes, natural cleaning stuff, supplements, etc... I think is a little hard, but, it's what I think I can relate too. I need some pictures now. I have just activated the SEO settings, but I couldn't do the paste thing. I have the code already, but I have failed to paste to the page that I am supposed to paste too. I am tired and will try it again tomorrow during the day because I have to work tomorrow night. I want to say again that you are being very good to me. I really apprecited so much. See if u can tell me anything about paste. i am a premium member, if u didn"t realised yet.

Not sure what you mean about "the paste thing" thing though. Could you please be more specific or point me to the page of training you are trying to complete. Do you mean pasting pictures or pasting code for the All In One SEO plugin?

Also, if possible, please respond to my private inbox so we can keep your business details confidential.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. It's To drag and paste the code to the All One SEO plugin. I am supposed to authenticate it.. Google sent me the code and I can't paste to the page. I am not sure if it is my mouse that is not working. I have done it before, but this time is definitely not working. I was thinking if I send you the link or try to use someone else computer. I know that I need to get the link done. Someone sent me a comment saying that there is room for improvement on my website. I haven't even finish yet!

Ok, I can do this for you if you like. But maybe try on another computer first.

If you want me to do this, I will need your WA login details AND Google login details. You can change them immediately after I'm done, and I recommend this for security.

Please *** ONLY send this to my private inbox ***

Do NOT post any login details here under any circumstances. Click on "private message" above to send me a private message if you want me to do this for you.

Also, don't worry about that lol... I don't know who that was, but everyones site needs improvement. Even mine :) They probably were just trying to help, but don't worry about that in the slightest.

Hi Luzia, to use Wealthy Affiliate with your website, you will need t use their hosting service, which is included in your Premium membership. However, you can use your existing domain name from another company. Let me know if this makes sense, and if you have any questions.

I am going to find a tutorial to show you how to use an existing domain name with a new site here..

Hi Alisa, you absolutely can and will succeed if you work at it! By simply following the training and taking massive action there's nothing holding you back from achieving your goals.

The idea of focussing on value is key. It's a shift in mindset but once you grasp this fully you will realise how simple making money online really is.

Just give people useful content and do it better than the next person. I am not kidding when I say that's all I focus on. It works.

Reach out anytime you need help or want to bounce ideas around, I love helping beginners get started so don't be shy :)

Nice to meet you Tim, and I do really agree with you that to start with is to build your friends first before you have to think of your business.
Think of this motto "It is better to give than to receive." because you just don't realize that grace will just come to you in so many ways.

All the best and may god bless you.....

Hi, My name is William. It sounds like you are doing great! I just might call on you. I am kind of behind, but its not because I haven't been working on it. I guess I am a little slow at learning this stuff. I know once I get my first website up and find out what to put in for content I will move right along fine. Well, I am so glad to meet you and keep up the good work, you might have to show me how! lol

Hi William, you are most welcome to ask me questions and I'm happy to help! Don't worry about the time it takes, we all work at different paces. I've achieved some pretty cool things since joining WA but it's only because I worked my butt off and followed the training here, that's it. The point is, YOU can absolutely do this no matter how long it takes! I found the best way to learn is really just to DO. Don't worry if your site is 'perfect' since no one's site is perfect- my sites are far from it! The best thing you can do is just get into it and get something up because in my experience, this is where you learn and grow the most. One of the things I love about this business the most is just how much there is to learn, it never gets boring. It can seem a little overwhelming at first but you don't need to know everything to achieve awesome results, it's a journey.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by and it's great to connect! Feel free to reach out anytime :)
