Does anyone use Easycron to send newsletters or emails to your database. If not Easycron - do you use some other program? Please share...
I have never heard of them Kevin. I used to use AWeber but they are costly if you are on a tight budget. I use RocketResponder now on my projects before WA. It is very easy to use and very affordable.
Thanks for that info, Kevin. I had never heard of them. When it comes time to do an email list, I plan on using Aweber.
I looked at aweber but they are pricy... have a look at easy cron when its time for you to go that route - 7 day free trial
Aweber is still the best for email marketing and is what kyle uses. I like there service and things you can do and it's only $1.00 to try our.

I've always set up cron jobs within cPanel to run automatic backups, etc, but never to email newsletters. No cPanel with WA though.
I once had a self hosted email system and found that newsletters didn't always get sent or ended up in spam boxes.
There's a reason why AWeber is the best - they spend a lot of time making sure that your emails don't look like spam and actually arrive where they're supposed to. Downside? Fairly expensive!
I believe Mailchimp does not accept affiliate marketers so if that is your field you need to find another company such as Aweber, Getresponse etc.
It's a website devoted to setting up and sending mass emails or newsletters. You need to use a plugin to set up your page and then you go to a cron programmer to set up your automatic emails. Here is the info for the one I use - https://www.easycron.com

New user registration on your site Heart And Soul Graphics:
Username: sidneyholeman8
Email: gnomewebhost@yandex.com
who is this??
yes Kevin I have also had people showing up on my blog and posting spam., (its as if they new my Admin password).
How about 65+ post of spam! I too have been asking different people for suggestions, Ive finally gone in deleted all people and changed my WP admin password to see if this helps will let you know.please keep me updated on yours. Hope you get it figured out. Btw, after this post to you i went in and checked todays post on mine and there are none.
So maybe changed you WP admin pw, its worked for me so far???
Steveo5770, russstewart both suggested it was necessary to look in General Settings and un-check the 'anyone can register' box. I also changed my admin password too. LMK if this works for you!
Kevin
Believe me I did everything every one suggested, and was still getting spam post from Gambling to nursing on my home page., i basically went in and deleted every post and person manually, changed my settings and again changed my admin password, and as of this morning no post are showing up hope this helps.
Go into Settings>General and make sure the box is unchecked that says " Anyone can register". Otherwise it will happen again.
I haven't had this happen, but Wordpress is apparently notorious for getting hacked. Change your password immediately if you didn't already. I use free software LastPass to remember, encrypt and create really strong passwords. I hope no damage was done.
That's very interesting. the .ru extension on the email is Russia. I just looked it up. I don't understand how this could happen, so I'm hoping somebody knows. I would take her out and change the password fast.

I invited folks to wade in on my latest project the other day and one member sent me a link saying we couldn't solicit people to go to our web pages/blogs, yet I've seen many ot
We are allowed to ask for feedback on our sites, we are not allowed to put links for selling stuff on here.. see S Simpson has given you a link
When you post pages for review there are special places to do that ... you will find them as you go through the training lessons. Also you can put your website under your picture on your profile page and others can find it there to look at it and offer comments and feedback.
Hi. I don't think that we are supposed to solicit to others, but I think it is common for WA members to team up and visit each other's sites and post comments. There are a few places where you can specifically ask for feedback, like this one: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/getting-started/please-give-me-feedback-on-my-website/
At the beginning I do remember kyle saying that which is why when he asked us to post our websites later in the lesson I was surprised. I think what he meant is that you can not bribe or encourage people to buy product recommended on your site. n_n
I've visited plenty of other sites and blogs from members asking for our opinion. So if that's bending the rules then there's a lot of other people bending the rules.I thought we were suppose to give advice on our work. If needed.
Invite as many as you like. During the course lessons, Kyle has designated pages where WA members can leave comments and so forth

Hi, agree with most commentators, lose the side bar to the left and reduce the google ads. I would only link the images to affiliate sites also. By the way you're a busy man two sites at once, that's what I call going for it.
Kevin, Just give you the heads up on posting your website!
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/leoemery/blog/one-of-the-no-no-s-at-the-wealthy-affiliate
Great website by the way, I did leave a comment on your site. Love the layout and information....first class work....well done Kevin!
Good well written article. I think your book ads should be targeted and relevant to your subject. The other ads on the page detract from the authority you are trying to develop in your article.
Hi, I like the photo on top, it really sends the message of what the website is about. Great subject too, it's good to talk about those things and that people understand them better.
If I may make a few suggestions in design:
Since what you offer is very informative, I would use a bigger font size. The ideal size for screen reading is 16px. I don't know why people keep putting smaller fonts on their website (I've done it too), but if you want people to read your stuff, why not make it easy for them?
The title of the website is a bit hidden, I had to look for it. Why not put it on the header, there is a dark background there and it would stand out nicely.
I know the idea is to make money, but too me there is a bit too much advertisement and not necessarily relevant to your topic. What could you find that would be in the same theme? If I go in a website to look for information about bi-polar or depression, I may be interested in an ad about some medication, therapy, counsel, help, herbal remedies, hypnosis, nlp, sophrology, meditation, well anything that would relieve my pain. And your visitors will be more incline to click on the ads because they don't feel like you just want to sell them something.
Overall the information you already have there is very valuable and well written, keep up the good work.
Thanks Zenn, Absolutely great feedback - I will have some work to do to fine tune the site - I know its not finished - just so new - I needed some opinions. Much appreciated!
Hi Kevin, checked out your site. Not bad! A topic like depression is generally depressing ( no pun intended!) however you have done well with it.
So, no criticism here, just some things that jumped out at me.
Couple of things might help out. Like, generally you don't want your privacy page above the fold, It's fine on the left side. You have it above the fold and on the left side. Generally you want your selling points above the fold.
You have two search options. One on the left, and one on the title bar.They both search the same thing?
The menu is also duplicated, top and left side. Why? As you grow the site you might run out of room
Lots of google ads. For me a bit cluttered.
Go to Live Video classes and watch "Wordpress: Themes and the Appearance of Your Website" It came out in May of 2014.
I am NOT saying I don't want to stay on your website, although it says that in the video title. Just some pointers from Jay the WA trainer on content and look of a site.
Take it for what it is worth
Kevin, keep it up! Great job
Byron
Your site is coming along nicely. I'd like to make 1 suggestion.
You should remove links to the images unless:
1. It's an affiliate banner
2. It increases the size of the image for reading purposes
The reason I mention that is because, people may click the x to close out the image rather than using the back button and they will lose your site.
Hi Kevin, love the content of your site, and to be taken serious, I would put the wealthy affiliate add down and place it somewhere else, the page of FAQ I would put all the qeustions at first at the top in a list, was very surprised to see the dutch adds, are you dutch?
Thanks Loes, No I'm not Dutch. Must be a glitch there... :-) I will move the WA ads - good idea.
I like your main graphic. I read the Bipolar page as I have 3 kids with that; have raised 4 kids with varying degrees of mental illness. You need a space on Bipolar I. It's run together. I will check it out more when I have more time. It's a topic many people are searching for information on. Where I live, psychs take no insurance and the going rate is $350 an hour cash up front. So I'd say many are searching the web for this info. Good Luck!

It reads: "You may use these HTML tags and attributes..." I found the code to correct this - I just don't know where to paste it. Please help!
Big thanks to Adam @ AJLPartners for all his help. Here is the right code to eliminate the annoying statement - "You may use these HTML tags and attributes..." . The proper code to remove is:
add_filter('comment_form_defaults', 'remove_comment_styling_prompt');
function remove_comment_styling_prompt($defaults) {
$defaults['comment_notes_after'] = '';
return $defaults;
}
and it goes on the theme functions page
The code (assuming it's the correct code) would go in the functions.php file of your current theme - all the way at the bottom of the file, after the closing } :)
No problem - if you need any help with WordPress let me know. It's kind of my thing! LOL - Peace, Adam
