I have been here at WA for 5 months now, and thought I would update my profile.
I really enjoy the concept of WA. I am amazed at the body of data available here and the knowledge of WA members who are always ready and willing to help out. People here are really great!
If you are willing to invest in yourself, put in the time and trouble to learn and apply the lessons here, you will go where you want to be.
It's really up to you, and yes, you are sitting alone in front of your computer thinking, can I really do this? Well, get off your A-- and find out!
Time to see if you have the heart and soul, the balls to succeed. If not? Well, better luck next lifetime sweetpea.
DO put in the time and trouble. BE successful in your life because you took responsibility for your life and didn't depend on anyone else. Then you can HAVE what you want to have. This is the classic BE-DO-HAVE scale found in the book "The One Minute Millionaire".
Sorry folks, you can't HAVE all your money and stuff until you DO what you need to DO and BE who you need to BE to succeed. Pretty Basic, but very powerful.
WA is a dream for anyone who has run a business OFFLINE (not on the internet). No payroll to meet, no inventory headaches. No accounts receivable. No worries about rent, leases, federal, state, local, and other taxes, shoplifting, damage to property, none of the employee nightmares and all the myriad of problems that just aren't there. Plus it is dirt cheap.
After you do all the above, this is what you can expect. 95% of all small business OFFLINE fail in the first year, and 95% of those who make it the first year fail in the next 3 years. I don't know about you, but I think those odds SUCK.
As far as money outlay, Are you doing any of the above here?
I thought not. Beginning to see how cheap and easy WA really is COMPARED to your other options?
WA makes it as easy as they can. Everything is laid out in small easy to manage lessons. If you get stuck, just ask anyone! Can we say business school? What is tuition now days for business college? Whatever it is, are you paying more here? I thought not.
There will be times when you are going to feel like you just can't do it. You will run into a stone wall, just can't figure out something. Life is going to throw you a curveball. You are going to want to give up. Do you think you are the first? The last? It happens to everyone.
I don't have a magic formula for you here. If you grit through it and keep trying, you will more then likely get through it. If not? Give up. Make excuses. Cry. Pout. Throw stuff and curse. That's what I do. Blame Kyle or Carson. Blame Me. Blame anyone you want. Then get back to work.
I usually give up a couple of times a week myself. Welcome to the club. Generally the guy or gal that fired you (that's you) will hire you back. With no wage increase or vacation pay. What did you expect? A free lunch? At least you like your boss.
Why are you still here? Quit reading my stuff and go make your own. Maybe I'll come by and read your work.
