About the article 'Are Diet Pills Bad For You?'
Having checked the keyword in Jaaxy which has a QSR of only 55, it is troubling to see the article ranked only on page 5
This is a damn good question and one I am sure will raise an interest.
Maybe it is because the site is not really built out? OK it was used for training purposes but was the site pursued after this? Was it promoted on social media etc? I am sure Kyle can answer it :)
To be honest it is a question I have asked myself many times as before I have selected and used keywords with sometimes 10 or so QSR.. but have still been ranked in page 7 and 8... how is this possible when the QSR is so low?
Lets hope we can get some info here..
Personally though I like Jaaxy. I think it is a solid tool and has helped me a lot. SO I will keep using it.
Chris
Ranking on page 7 for QSR of 10 is not helping you. That is my point. The article above ranks at the very bottom of the QSR quoted for it.
Obviously other metrics like the quality of sites and backlinks in the top 10 results matter.
QSR plus quality content alone are questionable to ranking well as far as I can see at present.
I raise this only to get further insights, not to criticize Jaaxy.
Yeah totally understand.. I am waiting input from others too and lets see if we can get a bigger picture :)
Thanks
Chris

There is no exact formula for ranking on the first page of google, but we know that keyword research helps, and so does engagement, and so do social shares. I don't believe we can put our finger on it. There is too much value that Jaaxy Enterprise provides too blame it on it. Honestly, I can't say that, because I only use Pro, but I couldn't imagine any other keyword research tool being better.
My two cents.
Jonathan
Hi, Jonathan, and thanks for replying. The Google algorithm looks at over 200 factors in fact.
Going on the metrics as taught using Jaaxy I would expect this article to be on page 1.
I would love a webinar looking at why it is performing so badly after 2 years. I think this would be beneficial to everyone because I see too many relying on the QSR factor alone.
I use other tools. I don't know why you think other research tools could not be any better. A tool only provides data. Many provide different types of data. You need to know how to evaluate all that data before making a keyword choice.
Here are some results for a website I have for example. It is over 2 years old. No comments on it at all. For the traffic and low hanging fruit keywords, it performs pretty much as I expected when picking the keywords. I update the site every couple of weeks only.

Thanks Craig. I never noticed it before. Hope it does not deter people signing up with all the hoopla about SSL on the Net at present.

Hi all,
I am puzzled with a keyword I found in Jaaxy.
"Email Promotion Internet Marketing Automation".
2757 469 3 Green 91 <- These are the results
Just get an article out there and you will see what results you get the best place to find answers like this is the market place it self
Test Test and test some more
Barry
You are right Barry, but I have other keywords like this with phenomenal numbers. I am trying to find out if anyone else has been there before me in experimenting, I don't have the time to test, my time is very limited, and I have already had an article at number 1 for the last three weeks, with good numbers but not one organic visitor.
356 61 28 Green 94
I would have expected one organic search at least in three weeks.
The best place to find answers like this should be here, not the market place. It is not a keyword picked out of thin air, but a keyword from a paid service.
Surely if the numbers are right, it has already been tested?
There is a rise of articles and products offered lately specifically geared toward email marketing...of you can make good variations and shorten/lengthen tailed keywords, you might consider this opportunity...of course well written content, etc.
It is hard writing posts for stuff like this, without putting up a title that looks so unnatural. But I have to live and learn, so I will give it a go.
Thanks Rosie
So work it in like a lead-in to a "short title"....and reinforce your meta and secondary titles, make good use of relevant images, etc...????
I know what you mean, but do you not think the title looks forced and "spammy" to begin with?
Sorry for answering delay, had to leave everything and tend to an 'issue'....aaaagh! Is there any room for play? i.e.
Email Promotion: Internet Marketing Automation
????????
Ben - I think there are tons of people who work in this industry and they have reasons for looking up very specific terms. It sounds like this may be one of those terms. "Automation" is what many places like MailChimp are now calling what used to be referred to as auto responders. Then with the other two terms of "email promotion" and "internet marketing" ... my initial gut just says its people in the business ... Hope this helps and God Bless! ~Cathy
Yes Joe, I have a post already drafted with a reference to an auto responder, and I was trying to come up with a title. Hence the confusion now about what to do.
Absolutely right, but I am more concerned about future research and results like this. I feel it looks bad, like a scammy forced title.
My preference would be for more of a natural fitting title that I would search for myself, just checking for search volumes and nothing else.
It is not just this title I am asking about, but trying to understand if I should trust keyword tool results implicitly.
Ben, we are told there are 2 billion people on the internet but even with those numbers it seems unlikely to me that 2757 would type in that as a search? The numbers look great though, don't they?
Harold
That's what I mean Harold. I just cannot see anyone entering that search term. I have found other situations like this one and would love to know what to do. Most of them do not look or sound natural, but have great numbers.
Hey Ben, possibly other folks like me, copy & paste terms to google it. I wouldn't type that term, too much like work! ;-)) Jon
I know Jon. I cannot even remember it and have to look at it again to type it:)
But apparently 2757 people search for it monthly:)
???
You got me, Ben. I wouldn't look for something like that, but maybe others do. There are a lot of techies out there of which I am NOT one. Jaaxy hasn't steered me wrong yet. Others will have opinions, which I will be very interested in seeing.
Carla, I could not even remember the phrase when I went to post it here. But if this is a fact, I will be retired shortly LOL.

I agree, some live video training with Jay would be beneficial for everyone on this topic.
