Thanks a lot Phil! This solved the issue!

I don’t use it so I can’t verify if this resource is up to date, but this might help you: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/#robot

Why don't you use it?

Just personal preference, I typically use Yoast instead - prefer the interface.

Ok

Me too!

Interesting question Roope.

Hello,

I would like that an automatic email notification would be sent to the people when I have approved and replied their comment on my Wordpress blog.

Because ot

Reply plugins usually work when visitors comment on your website directly and they have a working email address.

I don't think those plugins can work when the comment is made internally here through the WA comment system, though you would have to check that with Site Support. ~Jude

I'm using the plugin: Comment Reply E-Mail Notification. I haven't had much experience with it, so I'd suggest testing it to see that it works right. Hope that solves the problem. Ted

Hey Roope,

The following video may offer you the help you seek: Hope you find this useful.

Keeping an eye on this one, great thought.

There is one called Comment Approved Notifier Extender that I have on my site.

Did you test it and know for sure that it works? I have tried it on two sites and commented myself in incognito mode to test and then replied to comment. Have not seen any notification in email inbox. It seems this thing does not work.

Well, it has been awhile since I installed it, but I asked a friend that recently commented and waiting to hear what she says.

i tend to add comment reply notification plugin Roope
this allows you add custom emails for the automated response
there is another one but i cannot remember what it is called
advanced comment notifier or something.
it does help with engagement as i have had a few 'conversations' with commenters.
good luck Roope.

I was wondering if Wealthy Affiliate has some official "Affiliate Agreement" regarding their affiliate program?

Where to find it?

The next question is that, does ev

The TOS would be the same as an affiliate agreement.

Thanks.

I am just thinking are there any rules regarding the affiliate program on how to promote WA and what is prohibited, etc?

With a quick glance I didn't find that information from TOS.

Hey Roope! I agree, its not in TOS
Can you please PM Kyle or Carson and post here?
Thanks so much

Well, if it's not the TOS, then it's likely $ icon plus the Bootcamp. Which covers all that information.

hey hi Roope -- if you mean the Wealthy Affiliate Terms of Service, here it is:

https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/tos

.... and to answer your second question, yes, likely that each and every program would have their own 'legal' terms & conditions of service as most of this world seems to operate in 'contract law' .... and it would be best to request to see a copy of their agreements before proceeding into any transactions so that you are fully aware of what their requirements are and whether you wish to comply .... or to then, re-negotiate those terms .... most major companies are 'lawyered' up ....

... hope that answers it for you ... all the best, cheerio ... :)

Hi Keisha,

Thanks for the response but that link you posted is terms of services.

It's a different document than affiliate agreement I think?

... that's the binding agreement when you sign up as a member of WA from what has been provided to the community ... that's my understanding of it and from previous questions / answers ....

... if you feel it's likely something different, then, it would be important for us to know about it ... cheerio ... :)

Thanks.

I am just thinking are there any rules regarding the affiliate program on how to promote WA and what is prohibited, etc?

I'd say for a definitive answer with no speculation or doubt would be to address the question to Kyle or Carson. They are the Oracles of WA.

2 questions in short:

1. How to reduce my Wordpress MYSQL database size?

2. Where to Hire Wordpress Developers for a Reasonable Price?

LONGER EXPLANAT

Looks like you got some great answers here Roope!

Hey Roope,

Thanks for asking the question. I certainly don't have an answer for you but I look forward to all the responses.

Monica

They must have a pretty low limit 🤔

One of the quickest ways to free up a reasonable amount of space in a WordPress database is to get rid of old post revisions & spam comments etc. Just remember to back up your database prior to purging them in case you decide you happen to want any of them back.

Thanks Dale! Do you know what is the fastest way to remove old post revisions?

Check out this plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-sweep/ 🙂

** Just editing this comment to add that I haven't personally used that specific plugin, and there are likely several others too so just run a search & see which has the best reviews etc :)

Hey Roope,

Here's a tutorial for you: Hope this helps you.

Thank you Trish and Dale! Awesome!

Hey Trish,

Thank you for the tutorial. I have that bookmarked now.

Just out of curiosity, how long did the entire procedure take to clean your WP Database? I'd be biting my nails doing that.

Monica

I got the database size reduced a lot so now I don't need to buy that expensive service. You probably just saved me a nice amount of money.

I guess I owe you a drink or a meal :D hehe

Not much. Just a few minutes with WP Sweep plugin that Dave suggested.

Hey Roope,

Good job! Did you follow Trish's tutorial? What did you do?

Monica

It has been so long ago now Monica that I do not honestly remember.

DO make sure to BACKUP your website BEFORE you begin and you will be fine.

If you went through my entire tutorial Roope, you would see other FREE options to finish the cleaning.

However, if you are happy with a partially cleaned database then that too is good.

Thank you Trish, I will ABSOLUTELY BACKUP my site BEFORE I begin.

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Monica

I watched a YouTube tutorial about WP Sweep and followed that.

I still haven't learned how to back up my Wordpress site. I guess that would be worth learning though.. :O

Thank you Trish. I'll check them out some point. :)

Yikes

I need to do my backup too...

I believe the procedure to do that is...

Dashboard => Tools => Export => Download Export File

Monica

I got it working eventually. I realized that optimizing tables deleted the content so I just ran other optimizations then and it worked well.

Just to be clear Roope, are you referring to the WP-Optimize by David Anderson, Ruhani Rabin, Team Updraft plugin?

(I'm horrified to think it might have done this!)

Ohhh good to hear that and thanks for letting me know.

Have a wonderful week.

Monica

Yes WP-Optimize also did it. However, it wasn't a problem because I was able to quickly recover it from the SiteGround's back up and then run it again, just not running the tables optimization because that seemed to delete stuff.

I see Dale has it nailed!

I use a different plugin that runs in the background sweeping up my database very hour.

Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions By CAGE Web Design Rolf van Gelder, Eindhoven,

Free plugin..set and forget!.

This is EXACTLY why I stress BACKING up your website BEFORE you begin.

Any other webs hosting company would retrieve only ancient copies as other hosts do not backup as often as WA does... unless you pay them extra.

Hey... that's yet ANOTHER advantage for having a WA membership, right?

He is hosted at SiteGround not WA - that’s what the question was about (SiteGround limiting database size)... but yeah WA is cool of course :)

My bad Dale, WA also uses SiteGround servers thus my sticking my nose where it obviously did not belong. My apology to you and Roope.

WA uses Amazon servers - unless the switched. Currently Upgrading to enhance a lot of features, Been an ongoing thing all year really some beta testing going on.

Hello,

I want to purchase and send WA credits to another member so she can pay for the premium membership.

I've heard before it should possible somehow but I didn't

Featured Comment

There used to be a process for this, but it was a big loophole for fraud so we had to refrain from doing it. We may re-implement, but but we are going to have to give it some further thought in terms of the most appropriate implementation.

Thank you for the info!

The transferring of cash or the ability to pay part or all of another members fee would be very helpful to me. I could use it as a bonus for signing up new WA member. I could just send them cash but I want to make sure it goes for the member's fee.

Hope you can figure it out. Tony

Roope, would it be possible for Kyle or Carson to take the payment from you on behalf of the person that you are trying to help. Allowing them to implement the transaction from behind the scenes from their managerial position.

I admire your integrity in wanting to help a brother or sister in need to succeed. This is what family is all about here at Wealthy affiliate.

Thank you for being such a gentleman. I believe as you have the desire to sow from your heart that it will be given back to you.

Peace💗

According to what Kyle says there is no transfer process.
You can cash out credits to paypal and transfer money through Paypal if you wanted to do that.

I have done it this way Roope, and its by far the best and quickest
