Listening, talking and praying for people is one of the greatest joys for me. My background in purchasing clothing and sales for Pizzaz was very educational. My employment at Expression of the Heart Christian book store gave insight into, sales, inventory, and organizing events for fun activities for the business. This also included setting up programs for low-income communities. Activities for children for bible studies and craft once a month. We also had bands, food and special programs for teens. Finally, we had hash/brag sessions for any parent in the community. Parents were able to talk about issues with their children 0r significant other. The ending of these sessions, parents had to brag about whoever they hashed about.
My employee at the G. E. Answer Center involved taking inbound calls 100 plus per day; giving assistance to GE, Hotpoint and any other products G. E had purchased. Handling, use and care information, complaints, specification and more.
Working as a lunchroom monitor for Pineview elementary school was exciting. This job made sure that I was humbled and had a small part in encouraging our future generations. sometimes it only took a smile or opening milk for one of the students.
Unfourtantly in 1994, I had a major stroke. Having to learn to walk, speak and use my arms and hands was difficult. Praise God! my overall functioning is good. Getting back into the workforce is a goal I intend to achieve. With the assistance of Wealthy Affiliate. I would like to thank anyone who is willing to assist me in obtaining my goal of finding a business I can do from home. Being on a fixed income does not allow me to help others the way God intended. It is important for me to serve with a grateful heart.
