I need to resend my annual payment. My credit card company blocked the automatic payment, which I corrected.

Hey Ted,

Here's the URL: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

And the screen prints below shows how to get there.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks so much for the link. I couldn't find it on my profile. Happy Thanksgiving!

What device are you using?

The screen prints are for desktop and/or laptop viewers, but the same options ARE there for mobile viewers. Though the way to find your profile image in the navigation bar may be different.

Resubmit your annual payment. Have a great day 😀.

Larry

My problem is that I can't find my subscription page to pay anything. Have you got any insights? Thanks.

BILLING INQUIRIES

Thanks for the info.

You're welcome, Ted :)

Hi - if a payment fails, then the system will automatically try to collect it twice more, over the next couple of days, you shouldn't need to do anything yourself.

Thanks, Diane. I'll keep an eye out for the retry.

What's the best way to put a cookie opt-in notification on your website? I'm going to add a Pixel to my website that uses cookies.

We use the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin too.

Thanks for the input. I advertise on social media and just found out I needed the Cookie message. Go figure - I've had the GDPR plugin since the beginning.

Okay.

I can't promise it's the best but I've tried a few and use GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. It's relatively lite and easy to use.
:-)
Richard

Thanks for letting me know. Along with the other comments, I think I'm on the right path.

Thanks so much for the info. Do you have a preference of which one to use? I'm in the U.S.

I would use the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin.

Thanks for the help.

Looking at Ads on FB, Google, and other platforms, why is using "You and Your" in the Ad a negative? I'd think that being personal would be speaking right to members of your a

Hey Ted,

It would most likely be their fear of a lawsuit like Google has suffered in the past.

The following post explains best: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/326928

Hope you find this helpful.

I'm quickly finding out how to handle FB with all the help from the network. Thanks so much for the article; it helped clarify a lot, too. I'm just getting into advertising my website and monetizing it in the process. Many Blessings. Ted

Hi Ted,

Facebook do not like it when we use "you and your" because in their eyes it's considered calling people out. For example, if I started my ad with "Are you suffering from diabetes?", this would violate FB Ad policy because I would be calling people out for health issues. They do not want users on their platforms to fell bad about themselves and that's the reason. How I would get around that is tell a story about my experience with diabetes and how I'm suffering from it.

FB is very protective of the user experience because they want to keep users on their platform. Hope that helps

-Hon

Well, for starters, they could stop censorship, Hon!

Thanks for the insight. Now, that makes sense in a FB sort of a way, but I understand it in this brave new world that I referred to earlier. I'm glad I asked the question, though. I was treating FB just like I was my website. It's good to know the difference in approach.

Happy New Year! Ted

Hey Jeff, it's just FB's attempting to protect their most valuable asset (their user database and user count).

You're welcome, Ted. Every platform has its own policies we have to abide by, even here at WA. If you want to pursue FB Ads then I would recommend looking into some copywriting courses for FB.

You can get some ideas on what your competitors are doing by utilizing the Facebook Ad Library. There is also Ad spy software out there that will show you what's currently running and approved by FB.

Along with copywriting, FB also monitors ad creatives and will have to go through an approval process. They have restrictions on what's appropriate so I would suggest getting up to speed with that as well.

Hope that helps and Happy New Year!

-Hon

Hi I believe testing is the right answer, as it is not good speculating. If me, I would always write in 3rd party as if am copy a resume, and I'd use the their or them vs you and your.

Thanks for the advice. I always wanted Ads to speak to me, but this is a brave new world we're entering here. On my website, though, I use "You and Your" a lot, because I want to speak directly to whomever is reading my posts. How can you convert somebody, if they don't think they are somebody?

Keep up the good work with much success. Ted

I also believe it is about emotions, how you made them feel. But I hear you. It makes sense in the above comment, that fb is protective of the user experience, because fb is looking after fb. And am sure they don't want another infringement on their hands.

What's a good advertising platform to get targeted traffic?

I would agree with htruong11 friend. Plus, Facebook can give you your money's worth. You can start with as little as $5. I think this is the smart way to go so that you'll get an idea of how many people showed interests in your business. All the best!

*** Super discussion thread here, Ted!

Appreciate you asking this query as it's helpful for others to know who might be reading this ...

thanks kindly ... :) ***

Hi Ted, you'll get the most targeted traffic with Facebook Ads. You can drill down to the location, gender, age, hobbies and what they like (i.e books, magazines, bands, etc).

However, they have a lot of restrictions on what you can say in your ad copies. I would take the FB Business Blueprint to get a better idea on what you can and can't do.

Always run you Ads through a Fanpage on your Business Manager and never through your personal FB account. Make sure you warm up your account to build trust with FB before running ads.

Hope that help and good luck!~

-Hon

Thanks for the help. I've been looking at Nativo.com and MGID.com, but I haven't yet done anything with them. They're using the PPC model, but I'm not sure how effective they would be. Just starting out, they might be too expensive, too. Have you looked at or used anything like that?

Luck will help. Ted

I haven't tried either of those networks. I hear a lot of good things about Bing Ad as being a good option for PPC. Right now for new accounts, you'll get $100 credit if you spend $25.

Might be a good option if you want to test the water. You'll have to do some keyword research for your audience.

They have two options when it comes to running ads. You can have the quick start option where Bing will help you optimize your ads and allocate the spend per click based on how competitive your keywords are. Of course, you'll have less control over your spending.

The other option is to opt for a pro account. This is where you can choose how much you would like to pay per click.

Hope that helps and good luck!

-Hon

Great insight. Thanks. I was looking for a way to get started before or at the same time that I monetize my site.

Merry Christmas. Ted

Thanks, Ted! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Hey Ted,

Kyle covers this topic in his training here: and there are several tutorials that others have share here on WA.

Have you read through those yet? See screen print below... and if you do run the same search, you will need to scroll down the page to see all of the training that mentions targeted traffic.

Hope you find this helpful.
