Here I am, currently a full-time house husband, father of four and looking to find a new direction in life. The children are all but grown-up and I can no longer use them as an excuse for me not pulling my finger out and making a massive success in the business world.
From forklift truck driving, flipping burgers, fixing ten-pin bowling machines, building furniture, refurbishing computers, selling health supplements to the general day to day household duties of washing, cooking, ironing and cleaning I seem to have dabbled in plenty but never stayed the distance to the point of longevity in any chosen career or profession. Well, that's going to change and the change starts here.
We all have a story. I am no different in that regard. I have read some of the profiles and other snippets of peoples lives and know that there are many out there that have suffered tragedy and loss on a cataclysmic scale and yet come through with a smile on their face, ready to do battle with life, head-on. I salute you all and hope that I can carry myself with somewhere near the same integrity, dignity and steadfastness that you do. Be Well.
Update:15/03/2021
For some that have followed my progress over the past couple of years, you might find this update odd, in a 'how did he do that?' kind of way.
I left WA at the end of February 2021, my last day should have been the 25th but for some reason, my account was closed on the 24th. Everything I had planned for my last day went out of the window, sad, but it is what it is.
The most disappointing part of this was that I didn't get the chance to say my final goodbyes or to remind anyone who wanted to stay in contact to PM me.
That said, for those who would like to keep in touch then I'm not hard to find. I am on the main social media platforms under some configuration of my name, there is only one of me so you shouldn't have too much trouble tracking me down.
Also, even though I am not here, all of the links on the 'Follow Me On' section (To the right of this bio) should still be working, simples.
My time here has been exceptional and that has been because of the community who, without doubt, are one of the most accepting, tolerant, knowledgeable and giving cross-sections of people I have ever encountered.
When I began my online journey back in January 2019, I hadn't put pen to paper, so to speak, since my school days which ended (unceremoniously) in the mid-eighties, so you can imagine my trepidation when faced with such an audience.
I needn't have worried, from the very first post to the last I have found nothing but love and a desire to continually encourage. Never be afraid to write and publish within this platform, even if, like me, you haven't written anything of note, ever. Furthermore, if you can, write every day, make it a habit.
Where to now? Well, after a brief hiatus I am back on the keyboard (on Medium), trying to make sense of the copious notes that seem to have amassed over the last few weeks.
Whether or not I will be able to emulate the immense pleasure I have had writing here, is a question that I cannot answer yet, time will tell, as it inevitably always does.
This reminds me of the Doctor's last meeting with Rose Tyler, only we're not on some remote beach in Norway (Or even Southerdown Beach in the Vale of Glamorgan).
Anyway, unlike the Doctor, I get to say goodbye and to tell you that I love you.
Know this, were it not for you, I would never have found this voracious appetite for the written word, so thank you. I'll leave you with this quote:
I asked a wise man. 'Tell me sir, in which field could I make a great career?'
He said with a smile. 'Be a good human being. There is a huge opportunity in this area and very little competition.' - Rumi

Twack's Goals 3

1

Money I would be happy earning
I don't have a figure just a virtual amount that covers the bills and any of lifes unexpected eventualities.
2

Money I would be ecstatic earning
If it covers all the bills and allows me to say yes more than I can,I would be ecstatic.
3

Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals
Whatever it takes, just keep getting up earlier and earlier to meet the demand.

How much money would you be happy earning?
I don't have a figure just a virtual amount that covers the bills and any of lifes unexpected eventualities.
How much would you be ecstatic earning?
If it covers all the bills and allows me to say yes more than I can,I would be ecstatic.
And how much time are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?
Whatever it takes, just keep getting up earlier and earlier to meet the demand.

Hey Twack,
You can definitely achieve these goals and I know that you will make it happen. The key is to dedicate yourself to your training here at WA. Follow the training, take action on what you learn, and ask questions when you have them.
It all starts with a goal - you can now start working toward it!
Talk to you soon,
Carson

Great goals Twack!
The reality here at WA is that so much can be achieved if you take action on what you continue to learn from the training and WA community.
I wish you every success on your WA journey, and by all means drop me a line if you need a hand with anything along the way :-)
Cheers,
Marcus
