I might be mistaken but I think the correct way is to go to the top of siteRubix, click feedback then you ask for feedback. You give credits to get feedback
To those who are at ease with their site contents, has confidence to ask feedback thru the proper channel it's ok for them but there are those like me who hasn't reach that stage yet and would prefer to ask for feedback from their friends first because we will be asking for something specific about our site/contents etc before acquiring enough confidence to posting it for feedback in the right area.We are all different and what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another and hey we are free to decide what's best for us.Good day to you Glenn.
The only problem would be when a friend is asked to give feedback and that friend says I can't do it
I agree, but even after explaining to a member that I can't stop what I'm doing to look over their website. Attitudes start popping. I don't get paid to give feedback
Then you look for another friend that has the time and the inclination. No problem. It's a community, right.
Then they have a problem not you. They should understand the word"busy" because we are all very busy around here.If I ever ask you for a review and you tell me you don't have the time and I really really want you to do it for me,I will have the patience to wait because "patience is a virtue" and it's payable at the end.But we are not here yet.
YES!! It also is a way to get points and help others with their sites! I've been seeing a few people go about this by posing it in the question area which isn't the most efficient.
In my opinion it should not even be allowed. What gives a member the right to ask for feedback and when it's not feasible then the attitudes starts popping.
I send people here Please Give Me Feedback on My Website even though I am thinking the new move is to send people to the SiteRubix Feedback
I absolutely agree, thank God this is all about virtual interaction, other wise people could probably come out of their box. Thanks for speedy response
Right on!
But that us for feedback on how your site looks, functions and so on.
The Site Feedback tool is not the same as the Site Comment tool. The comment tool works similar to the Site Feedback tool in that you give to get.

Well, there's some members going around thinking, just because you're an Ambassador you know a lot and boy they expect a lot so they ask you for website feedback along with a host of others. I will address this in my next post. Thanks for dropping by with support
No problem. I must be put of the loop as I am not aware of what ambassadors are doing or why they would have any sort of expectations of others.
Actually I enjoyed the dynamics of being an Ambassador but it too is a lot of hard work just to promote WA

What is the correct way to ask for website feedback?
I might be mistaken but I think the correct way is to go to the top of siteRubix, click feedback then you ask for feedback. You give credits to get feedback
It would be great if there was some kind of comment box where you could add (a short) note related to any specific concerns you have re: your website. I.e. Does this or that work in your opinion/could you check out the links on this page. Feedback should be thorough - checking everything, clicking through, checking links, making suggestions, checking spelling and grammar etc. the last two bits of feedback I have received were a bit short on anything I could use to improve (maybe I have nothing to improve ;). More likely, they didn't look in depth or were worried to offend. It was still good to get the feedback but for me, I would value more specific info related to what I could change to make my site even better - and I'm open to it!!
The last bit of feedback I got actually could have been a comment - And so I had to write back and ask for something a bit more specific. In that way, I was able to get my answers. I've been told before that my paragraphs tend to be too long/I had also had a discussion with my husband who felt my last post was a little "off-niche so I wanted to ask those questions. Would be useful if that was in place.
One last comment - not all feedback is equal. I'm aware as ambassadors you don't have time to give feedback when people ask - and people should go through the official channels (I always use the correct feedback channels) but as I said some people are better at it than others - so while it's not possible for you to give feedback direct, it's actually a compliment on the quality of your feedback if people want to hear your view!!! ;-)
Yes Sarah, this is what we are looking for in feedback-how our sites are set up,links, etc if they are correct before sending it on the feedback channel for reviews because we know that the comments will be mostly on the contents/post than on the website itself. Those who do not have time to give reviews that's fine but out of the whole community we can get at least two people to do it for us and this is enough.

Want to optimize my website
When you're in WordPress there's a dropdown on the left side of the toolbar, normally it's set to 'paragraph'. What they mean by H1/2/3 is changing that dropdown to Header 1/Header 2 etc.
H1/2/3 is how you set up your High Archie for the SEO to follow the importance of your posts / pages. Like a table of contents.
H1 start your post / page
H2 all sub heading after H1
H3 further break down from sub headings if required and so on H4
Paragraph text makes up all your content in between
No it shouldn't be. The post title is already H1 if that is what you mean. So you shouldn't be using H1s again on the page.
I usually skip using H2. Use H3 for sub-headings.
So you should only ever be using H3s when you create a post because H1 is already used for the post title by default.
Yes, your title with keyword should be within H1 tags, then again within H2 and then again within H3.
Get creative with the titles. such as
Wealthy Affiliate Review
The Wealthy Affiliate Review for Newbies
The Wealthy Affiliate Review Pros and Cons
Something like that. These are "on-page" SEO factors that the search engines like to see.
Easy answer....Yes!
And it is even better if at least one contains a keyword if not your targeted keyword.

Making sure I understand the rules of placing links Google
Thank you for that question and the answers I have learnt something new. I thought you could put WA links on your Google plus account.
No you can't. Google+ does not accept WA Affiliate links. Only if those links reside within another URL like that of a website.
Hey everyone, I noticed if I place a my affiliate links directly to my Google plus page it gets removed. When I place links directly from my Google blogspot blogger then it's accepted
Use your blog post on Google plus, redirect to your Review page or training. Give value by interacting and you should be ok. We have to remember giving value is the KEY. No one say no to VALUE.
I would believe it would be in what manner the link is placed, as not to give the impression of spamming. This is just my opinion.
Hey helen, been there and done that and would always get a warning then my page was closed down. I don't think I can go through that again. If I post a link directly from my Google blogger it's accepted.

Would like to create my own logo
You can ask here Bored Again! - Anybody want a FREE website Banner or DIY on http://www.onlinelogomaker.com/
Logos, temporary ones could be generated from cooltext.com and flamingtext.com, according to a training at WA. A logo can be very expressive and memorable. Logo is important for business, sometimes you may have to prepare a logo to be part of verifying a business too.
We think it's very important since most people love a good visual looking website.
Vicki (filbs71) does fabulous logos for free for members.
Have a look at what she created for us - it's supurb !!!
http://cheekychihuahuaproducts.com
We think it goes brilliantly with our website. Just a plain heading didn't do anything for the site.
If you like, please comment on some pages.
Loes posted about Parre and his wish to make (for free) banners/logos for WA members to fill out his portfolio. I don't know if he is still doing this but it's worth contacting him.
And watch out for that branding Iron!
I think it is important to some extent. I find that most people are very visual and they remember things they see and can picture later. They may remember your site because of the logo.
I don't think it's a make or break it kind of thing with regards to a site though
I made my own logo and it only took me about an hour.
I used the free logo maker that Loes blogged about. For some reason I can't paste the link to her post from my phone.
I would say that it all depends on what kind of site you have. If you are trying to promote a unique brand/name that you have created, then I would definitely create a logo. If you think about a lot of big brand names out there. What do you notice first? The name or the logo?

The bounce rate on my website needs to be tweeked
Enticing Content...Would be similar in the sense of merchandising in a retail store...You need the consumer to stop what they are doing and look at your display...and then because of that display they might look at other displays also...So it would be ideal for your site's pages to give that feeling to all of your users so that they would be motivated enough to open the other pages on your site.

I agree with internal links.
I have been going through old posts and adding internal links where appropriate and my site-wide bounce rate has dropped from around 75% to around 65% in the month since I started doing it.
I'm hoping to get to drop even more as I go through more posts.
I have also been tweaking the starting paragraph or two, as I go through my posts, to make them clearer and more instructive as to what the reader can expect from the post. I imagine the internal links has the biggest effect but I think this also helps because it (if I'm doing it well) makes it more likely that the reader will reach the internal links further down.
I think making sure the paragraphs are nice small chunks and that there is plenty of imagery to keep the reader moving down the post also helps.
And the final thing I can think of off the top of my head is making sure your site loads fast. Don't quote me on this but I think if someone loads up your site but leave before it loads up fully because it's too long for them then it counts as a bounce too.
Of course keep in mind that sometimes a bounce is good because sometimes it means that your reader has exited via an affiliate link.
Good point about the affiliate 'bounce' being a good thing, Nathan.
I try to ensure that even in that instance I have the affiliate link open a new window to extend their time on my site, and perhaps get them to continue browsing on it.
Best of luck to you - Dennis
As Jovo said, you need internal links to keep them moving from page to page on your site, rather than leaving after seeing only one page. That's really what the bounce rate measures. If two people visit a page on your site, and one of them leaves without going to another page on your site, your bounce rate is 50%. The search engines don't like high bounce rates - it means readers don't find things of interest, and they leave.
One way is to introduce more internal links. This is supposed to keep visitor on the site longer, to eventually visit other pages/posts. I tested in in one of my pages, had bounce rate 100%, without any internal link. This changed when I introduced them. Jovo
