My images are all blurred and I am not sure how to edit them
Why is my meta slide show blurred?
My images are all blurred and I am not sure how to edit them
Which post/page is your slider on, Wendy?
You need to make sure your minimum pixel width is the same as the slider width, or the images will be stretched and look blurred. Are these photos you've taken yourself or stock images?

Can you direct me to your post/page where the slider is?
I suspect, if you are using stock images, then they are not a high enough quality.

OK, I see.. it's definitely that your images are too small.. So, you'll need to get bigger ones. But first, we need to know the minimum size they can be, so, more questions:
What is your WP theme called?
And, can you tell me the image sizes you are using? Go to the picture in it's folder on your PC/laptop and right click on the image. A Grey box should pop up - click on properties close to the bottom and another box will appear. There are two tabs, one is details - this is the one you want. The third category should be image - can you tell me the dimensions listed here?

Sorry I had to disappear for a while. The theme is 2010 and I going to try and fins out the size of the images now. Thanks.
the 1st picture of the chocolate is 100 x 57, the second of the tuna is 100 x 76, the third of the leaves is 100 x 66 and the fourth of the sycamore seeds is 162 x 153. I did not get these dimensions by the means you described as there was no Properties section when I right clicked, so I hope these are what you need. Thanks Claire.
OK, they are definitely too small. Sliders are generally over 1000px wide - about ten times the size of your images. You need really good quality images for a slider - usually pictures you have taken yourself on a camera are the best. Stock images are generally too small for this kind of thing.
Can you tell me the name of your WP theme? I'll see if I can find out the minimum size you need.

Sorry, I was working backwards through my emails and didn't see this one before replying to your most recent message.
You need to find images that are a 1170px wide and 500px tall. A standard photograph will need cropping down as the height will be too tall (you can use MS Paint for this). If you don't crop them, they will either be squashed or take up too much space on the page.
If you need any help cropping, let me know once you've found suitable images to use :)

I have made a slide and copied the code from meta slider but do not know where to paste the code on my post. Also, I only have images on the slides, how do I put a text descript
OK so I have found a useful site to help with meta slider: https://www.metaslider.com/documentation/getting-started-with-meta-slider/ Good luck. I have added one to my site and I am pleased with it apart from it being a bit blurred - any advise would be welcome on how to 'un-blurr' it. Thanks
There should be two tabs in your WP edit - "visual" and "text". Try first putting the code into the visual tab. I have occasionally had to add HTML code to my pages and post. WP does allow you to add a caption to each image. When you "add media" which means image, on the right hand side, you will see a box to add a caption and that is where you can put the text which needs to do with the image. I hope that helps.
Another option if it is not working for you is to go to SlideShare.com which is a platform which allows you to upload PowerPoint (PPT) slideshows and you can link to your PPT from your WordPress site for your users to view.
