As we are building out our websites, it is always nice to get some feedback and insights from "others" as to how we are doing. It can lead to us getting a better understanding of the process and it will lead to a much higher quality website.

If you are needing a website review, post your website URL here for feedback.

Example:

Hey guys, I am just building a website in the weight loss niche and am wondering if you can give me some feedback on how I am coming along with my website. Here is my domain:

http://howtolosebellyfattoday.com/

Thanks!

But remember, this is a community here at Wealthy Affiliate and don't just post your link and leave. Offer others the same sort of help you are about to get. Whenever you post your website here, make sure that you offer your opinions and insights on at least two other websites.

Hey guys, I am just building a website in the LLLT (Cold Laser) niche, and I am wondering if you can give me some feedback on how I am coming along with my website. By the way, it's an innovative way of HEALTH PROBLEMS TREATMENT IN ABSOLUTELY NATURAL WAY AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HAVING ONE OF THESE DEVICES IN EVERY FAMILY. Here is my domain: https://coldlaserguru.com
If I can be helpful for any of your needs, e.g. your website review, please, apply to me.

Victor - really like the topic - found red light therapy about a year ago an am now just getting around to having a play with it......
looking at your site - i am a little concerned with some of your headlines....
pbm beats coronavirus...google will never rank this....unless the whole world agrees with you and the big health sites are saying the same....
google had a bit of a problem in the fact that it returned a holistic site that said just sit down and take it easy for a person looknig for information on pains in my left arm....yes.... he was having a heart attack....
since then google needs to have backup for any medical claims.....so you need to be citing articles that state this - they can be from google scholar....
i would change your menu to something thet helps the user navigate your site easiy...have a start here that takes them to your post on what is lllt....
and on that post.....i would split up your paras into max 5 sentences....i skimmed it when i hit the first block of text and on mobile it will be a lot worse.....
remember who you are targeting and if they have never come across it then it needs to be very light ( pardon the pun) easy to read and digest - showing that this is a new revolution...along with ir saunas....that will take mankind into the future...are you ready ot get onboard with hte next generation of healthcare and buy a red light therapy light.......
i wish you well with it and hope you manage to get some traction with your site....

Hi - your post on hair loss is 64% copied and pasted from various websites particularly https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/lsm.22170

Your post on Covid is 95% copied.

Google will not be interested in ranking content that is already published elsewhere, particularly anything of a medical nature, unless you have qualifications in the subject. Everything on your site should be original and written in your own words.

You don't have a Privacy Policy which is a legal requirement. There is a template in Site Content you can adapt.

Hi @feigner ... I hope you don’t mind me asking this ... you raise an interesting subject here.

I am planning a series of posts to do with the brain (including aspects of brain health), the mind and mindset. I am a qualified coach and facilitator but not a medical doctor.

In your opinion am I likely to have the same challenge as Victor?
Thank you

Hi, Richard! Please, tell me what challenge you mean? If you are not a doctor, you still can understand all what you need and if you don't know or don't understand something you can easily learn it using internet sources.

if you look over most of the medical and health sites now ranking highly they all have medical reviewers...
so i would say unless you have health related qualifications then it really is worth seeking out someone who can review your articles...
yes you may know what you are talking about, but google doesn't know this....
you need the backup of someone who has published papers and is an established authority...
it will all depend on how google sees the information - look at the other sites ranking for the keywords you are looking at - if they have reviewers then.....
good luck with it

Hi pnitzan ... I agree with your feedback... whether I am a Medical Doctor or not I certainly have the ability to learn from what I read.

However, as Phil (feigner) pointed out, Google can't tell if I am qualified enough to communicate whatever is in my post with conviction. They are naturally cautious about ranking posts that may be misleading or inaccurate especially where the information may have medical implications. Most of my posts won't have medical implications, but will talk about parts of the brain (for instance). I have no idea yet where Google draws a line between body parts and medical info so will just have to try and see where it goes. If I offered advice to people on what they can do to 'feed their brain' or avoid dementia for example, then I am sure I would need to quote sources.
Thanks for chipping in. Appreciated.

Dear feigner! Thank you very much for you time and efforts! I am so glad to meet the person, who is interested in this topic, which is really worth paying attention of the public! I am an absolutely new and this is my 1st website, which I constructed with a lot of efforts and problems. I don't dare to ask you for some help, but if you could be my mentor at least for a small period of time, I would be really able to make serious progress. Your remarks are very important and help me to understand a lot! What if I add some sources list to the post about Corona? Or some links in the text allowing to go to the sources? Could it help?

adding some references will back up your claims and that is important.
i would say for the general public you will need ot simplify your writing and create your own images as any copying will be found by google and it is not ranked.
i am usually around so if you do need a hand feel free to pm me...
internal links between articles and external links to authiority sites will help...
Good luck Victor

I am really a big enthusiast of LLLT and read a lot about it. From the beginning I felt intuitively it's a magic thing and it helps in many situations. I decided to take this niche because I really a lot about it. I knew in advance it can be useful with COVID-19 and only after that I started to look for confirmations of my idea. There is another agent, 100% natural as well. It works parallelly with cold laser and has similar effects upon human organism. But I was told, that Google is very careful with things that are from human health category. As a private author you may not be ranked with such a content, only some scientific institutions can be. The funny thing is that several years ago one of the wonderful doctors and professor of medicine told me, that medicine is not a science.

google is very reluctant to show results from non medicine sites with drippings of md's and loads of years of authority....
but google is not the only source of traffic - pinterest could be a very good source - especially when you start talking about it being a non invasive facelift, skin rejuvinator - loads of women on there - and hair restoring - both women and men - but you will need to simplifiy it a lot from what i read - make it readable for everyday people
get a fkscore of less than 7 ( i think it is that - grade 7)
i wouldn't push too much about covid 19 especially on social or your accounts may get blocked.....
but it is a treatment that can help with almost anything that needs an energy boost - just like going out into the sunshine for a boost....and don't you feel better when you have been out in the sun for a while.....

Hi Victor... I just got around to looking at your site. Great content, and interesting to me too.

Just one additional comment... Nothing to do with content. GDPR is Europe’s privacy and disclosure legislation (you probably know this). It now demands a facility for visitors to be able to accept or reject cookies. There are many ways to achieve this. The easiest woukd be a plugin. Personally I use the free ’GDPR Cookie Consent’ plugin which lets you install a banner or popup.

If you need help with this, just ask.
Best wishes

It's a standard WP plugin. Login to your Dashboard, go to Add Plugin and search in the usual way. If you are still not sure don't hesitate to ask again and I'll give you more info.

Thank you. Richard! I have prepared a welcome letter, I'll publish it tomorrow. But the content should be changed, I suppose. I should re-write it simpler and maybe re-do the pictures. If you have some questions about LLLT, don't hesitate to ask me, I know a lot about it.

Greetings everyone I am in the process of building my website for those that enjoy reading about the life experiences of others regarding the mysterious. I am wondering if you can give me some feed back on how I am coming along with my website.

I love the site and idea. Will read more later. Left a comment and requested your newsletter.
One thing missing right now is GDPR compliance. Visitors in Europe need to be able to explicitly agree or disagree to cookies. I use a plugin called GDPR Cookie Consent for this.

Anyway well done. I might give more feedback when I can get to pc.

OK ... now at PC ...
- Your posts are currently uncategorised.I believe that google prefers categorised posts, so even if you only have one category it's worth setting up. Tou can add categories at any post. Probably the quickest way to st one up is through the Categories tab under Posts in WP Dashboard. Once set up you will need to go to each post and select the category on the right hand side of the post edit screen.

- Earlier I looked at the site on my iPhone (more than 50% of people who visit will be using their phone) where it renders well. For my taste it is not so good on PC.

1. it opened at a page that seems to consist of all the posts in one. On this page some images appear on the left and others in line (none on the right). This might be because Reading settings are set incorrectly. If you go to WP Dashboard, Settings, Reading ... perhaps it is set for Full Text? If you change this to Summary, when the Home page opens you will see a list of summary Excerpts which gives the beginning of each story with a clickable More... link to the full text of the post.

2. The menu seems incongruous with the site ... when it opens it is (to my taste) ugly within a nice looking site. Unfortunnately I am not familiar with this Theme ... what is it? You may be able to change the way the menu looks.

3. I pesume all these stories your own originals and not published elsewhere on the net?
If they are I'm impressed. As you know your English skills are good, and I didn't spot any spelling mistakes but I did notice missing words, duplicate words and an incorrect combination of words. If you download a copy of Grammarly it will find these occurrences and help a lot in the editing process. Personally I use the free version.

I hope this is all useful
Best wishes

Hello everyone,
I've been working on a website relating to healthy dogs. My relationship with dogs started when I was eight years old when my Dad brought home my first dog. Since then, I have never been without one.

With that being said, ! have built my website and would appreciate your feedback.

Hello, your website looks great and the content is just awesome. I would like to suggest that you collapse your post on the home page rather than having them as full, because it takes long to scroll down if a visitor just wants to skim through your posts.

Else keep up the good work.

I am very fond of dogs and your Site caught my attention right away. Your layout and imagery are great. Your information is outstanding to me because it appears to come from a genuine love for canines. Like someone that would either have a dog sanctuary of at the least would give regular donations to one.

Dog owners can easily relate to your site. There is lots of information ranging from play time with your furry friend, to their safety and the safety of those around as well as nutrition and health for this loyal animal.
