It means your post is on fire! You are getting lots of comments on it and people are interacting on it. This is a very good sign that people love your post.
Maybe it is a combination of both, because I saw at least one that didn't have any comments.
Notice how many comments are on those particular posts? A lot more than normal right? ;)

You would be amazed at how many others are helped by simple questions. I was one of them a while ago. I just read other peoples questions and their answers till I was comfortable enough to ask my own!
The reply button is only available on the original comment. So when replying to a reply you have to go to the top of the conversation and reply to the original.
It's a little late, but I felt the need to make a screenshot or two. lol

Bill, It seems to that if you are on a personal profile you can reply once then you the next time you only get the action option. Check it to confirm. Maybe it's to keep us from turning our profile into a chat room.
Yes I guess that is the reason, its just a bit frustrating when some one asks another question in their reply. Thanks for your comment.

A few times this has happened and I don't understand why , can anyone explain please?
I have typed a message to someone and when I click send the following appears wiping
Hi Bill - You haven't done anything wrong. Everyone has comment limits on them at some point. It was because at one time people were trying to game the system to become an ambassador by making hundreds of comments. The restrictions disappear. :) Beverley
Thanks Beverley, I fully understand why the comment limits are in place now. Its all part of my learning process here in WA. Onwards...
Bill
At the start when I tried sending a private message when I pressed send I got red writing under the box, however the reason I got it was because I was entering my name in the recipient box instead of the person i was sending the message to.When I started putting the recipient name into the box it worked fine.My message never disappeared though.
This is news to me, and the one comment the first three months is also new news to me.
I will be following this thread for more info, thanks for bringing this up for discussion. :)
Thanks for your comment Shawn, please read Teenzia's post below she has cleared this up for us all.
Bill
Here is a post from Carson 11montgs ago maybe it will clear things up.
Carson, yes there is a limit to how many people that you may say hello to on their profile in a day. This was implemented due to people abusing the system by copy/pasting messages. Each day you may say hello to a handful of NEW people that you have never left a message to before, but anyone you've been in contact with in the past can be contacted as much as you like.
This is new to WA, so we will be adjusting the limits as we see fit. The GOAL is to cut down on comment spam and allow new people to come into WA and not be bombarded with copy/paste messages. I know that in this case you are just wanting to say hello to someone who has followed you and that you are not intending to spam :)
We will do our best to make this as unobtrusive as possible.
Carson
Hi Bill,
Yes I have had that a few times and, last week I sent out a blog "What is the comment limit".
I got this answer which might help you as well

Thanks
Terenzia
Thanks for sharing Carson's message, I fully understand now why the limit would be in place. I would assure the community however, I have not used copy and paste for any messages to anyone and I always try to make my comments different and personalized. My fault has been to click on the green world icon and if I see a post from a new person I welcome them to the WA community I did this with the very best intentions for their benefit. Thanks for clearing this up for everyone Terenzia.
Bill
Hi Bill,
I too try to personalise my comments and even user the person's name if I can, but I too got similar message as you.
These rules were set way in March last year so it is part of the system and should not worry us much.
I suggest that you give it a couple of hours and try making comments again and it would work
Good luck to you
Terenzia
Well, i got somethng similar today, it said, that i can post just one post a day in the first 3 months of the premium membership. It was concerning blogposts....hope this helps...:-)...Janine
Thanks for your reply, this is a different thing though. I have never seen the message you have received.
Thanks
Bill
Thanks Lydia, it has happened to me quite a few times over the past month. I then try on another member's page and my comment gets posted OK. Straaaange!!
I have heard of this happening to a couple people, and I do not understand why.
If you don't get the answer you are looking for I would inbox Kyle or Carson.
Thanks TJ, I am sure someone will have figured this out, so I will let it run for now, hopefully someone can come with an explanation.

I have been asked a question today that I can't fully answer and would appreciate some advice from the community please.
Hi Bill, I was wondering if you have a
I am from Canada, and I talked to our tax department directly. I didn't want to be slapped with any extra taxes because I was ignorant. I do not have to pay any taxes to the US, since I have no physical presence there. I know that for a fact. As for tax deductions, I would say a good accountant would be able to help with that. Just guessing on that one, though.
Hi Gordi, I am also from Canada living and paying taxes in the UK. Thanks for contributing to my post.
Bill
Great work, Gordi. In my Post above, I was referring exclusively to NONE US persons ...if you don't have 'presence' in US Territory or jurisdiction ...NO IEN or TIN needed. You did the right thing and got the best counsel on the matter. You also should NOT need to sign IRS-Form 9 with U. S. payers of commission to you...but that is another thing.
I do not think you'd need an EIN if your company isn't located in USA. You should report tax only where you live. Sorry, I guess you knew this already.
That's exactly right and it's what the tax authorities in my country (Germany) say, too. If you have no employees or equipment (rented servers for hosting do not count) in the U.S. and you are not an American citizen and you don't live there, you don't have to pay taxes in the U.S. but in your home country.
Thanks Bob, but the question was, are we! people outside the US entitled to a tax rebate if we have to pay taxes on sales within the US
As I don't get any income from my website yet, I don't need to inform the UK authorities, once I start placing ads and receiving an income, I then have 3 months to inform HMRC which is the same as your IRS. So I hope this is informative for UK members.
If you have an Amazon affiliate without UK ending, you will be earning US dollars which are reportable to the US. There are tax treaties if you meet the requirements.
I live in France. I do not meet the standards to pay taxes to France at this time. Thus, I am still paying taxes in the USA.
I am considering registering one of my websites in France thus, I would fall under France jurisdiction.
Most of the tax treaties are for individuals. This line is grey with an online business as you are earning income but not a wage. The treaties are in place for people that usually earn a wage. Debbie
Hi Derek from Chester, thanks for your input, the EIN is not relevant to you yet, but it is benefit that you can receive down the line.
It might be an idea to register with the HMRC straight away. If you have start up expenses, you may be able to get a tax rebate from PAYE income tax.
Before you apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) you need to apply for Indivdual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) which is a social security number for non USA citizens. You will need to supply your passport or notarized copy of your passport with IRS form W-7. You will need to obtain a USA notary from the embassy in the country where you live. Once you obtain your ITIN then you can apply for an EIN. I would look at the American Embassy page for your country. They usually give a list of people that help Americans. You may want to talk with them as how to proceed. You may even need to set up a business entity depending on how much you will make.
I would keep track of your earnings and possibly set up a separate PayPal and bank account for these funds so they can be tracked easily. Mixing this money with your other funds can create a problem with tracking the money.
You maybe able to delay the process for a time to see how much you are making. I would consult someone familiar with American tax law whether an accountant or lawyer. Hope this helps you. If you have any more questions, you can send me a private message. Debbie
It is great that you answerde a question that has blocked me for long time. Thanks thousandfold
