I am trying to upload files to one of my websites using filezilla but keep getting critical transfer error. Does anyone know why this is happening, and how I can resolve it?
If you are uploading a new theme, go to themes and use the upload button. Make sure the file you are uploading is zipped. If you unzipped it, you can't upload it.
Are you working with a tWP site that is hosted by WA? If so you shouldn't need Filezilla. When I first started with my website here I thought I needed to go that route. I found an older post about how to work with Filezilla in a discussion. Try doing a search. If you're using WP you could also do a search from your website dashboard.
Hi,
yes I am using a WP site hosted by WA. The files I am trying to upload are for a website template. Can this be done through WP automatically?
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.

Sean

Will the recent spate of viruses (e.g. heart bleed) have any impact upon our websites?

I my humble opinion it is much better to be proactive about your security, in other words make sure your site can't be hacked. The best way to do that is to install a website manually and not use fantastico
How worried should we be about the latest virus alert?
