Im wondering how valid clickbank is to this kind of opportunity

I use click bank, they have been around for years there are some great products and some crap ones

Barry

ClickBank is valid and has many great digital products to promote.
You need to check on which ones you promote. Some are not so
good and some are great. David be cautious you will do great.

Yes, Clickbank has some good products you can review and offer on your website with Wealthy Affiliate. However, I tend to focus most of my concentration first on building a nice foundation where Wealthy Affiliate is my primary and unique focus in terms of selling, after all it is imo the best online product out there.

Hi David! -

concentrate on the training here at WA - don't jump around - you must focus on one thing - forget about everything else.

I personally think Clickbank is brilliant - I have had a lot of success selling Clickbank products.

But like all things IM wise you need to know what you are doing!

Thank you for this advice. Im having some challenges actually deciding which way to go. Both of the training systems are great, im just wondering which way would actually be best either the getting started course or the affiliate bootcamp course. If I did try to do both I am afraid that I wouldnt be able to cope. Theres just a massive amount of information and I am very anxious to get it right.

Hi David! -

I answered this on your other thread!

I see clicksure as such a affiliate network too, so many get rich quick schemes including a product that I fell for. I managed to get all of my money back after emailing the hosting company and calling my credit card company. So tricky these days!

Clickbank is tainted by many Quick Get Rich Scam Products. Avoid them and focus on other Clickbank products and you will be fine.

This one is tricky isn't it.

Clickbank features a lot of digital products and systems and I dare say that the reputation is not always the greatest. Some would say some of the products or "systems" are the real reason the Internet marketing and affiliation industry has a bad name.

My theory is you are building a brand on your site and the products you will choose to represent will be a direct representation of you, so be sure you feel the product has integrity before you promote it.

We are here to learn how to be an affiliate for anything we believe in and I would say there might be treasures for all of us to promote if we are diligent and keep to our principles.

Just my humble opinion.

Excellent ponts. I totally agree with your view.

Yes, what Jared says is true. It does seem after all Clickbank accepts any affiliate products out there, scam or legitimate, doesn't matter. In the end its all about the money to them. Furthermore, Kyle will train you on how to implement affiliate networks such as Clickbank within bootcamp.

Yes, it's valid, but I'm not a huge Clickbank fan. If you find a good product, you can make some $$$.

Hi Carla!

It's full of Great products!

I should know I promote enough of them! :)

Well, we will have to have some conversation, David. I never had much luck there. I would like to know how to work it. I watched one of their extra long webinars and it drove me nuts!

What do you mean by Valid? WA teaches affiliate marketing. Clickbank is an affiliate network with thousands of products that can be promoted through affiliate marketing. Does that help?

Ok I see. Thank you :)

I am going to begin the affiliate bootcamp, should I build my website in the other training first?

Hello Raven,Take you time. When you get tired,Walk away and come back to it.That is what I do.It works for me.Ken

I started out with the Entrepreneur Course and finished it. Was kind of rushing and did not pay attention. Started all over and began really to learn.

It's important to go at your own pace. If some stuff is unclear, go ask questions, go back a lesson or two.

This is not a race. The Bootcamp is more detailed about affiliate marketing and how to promote ONE particular program. Like I said, take your time.

John

When I started at WA, I couldn't think of a niche. The powers that be suggested, "If you can't think of a niche, try Affiliate Bootcamp". So I did.

First Lesson, First paragraph said, "If you're not familiar with Social Media, you're going to be confused". I was not familiar, and I could have not been more confused.

I went back to "Get Started Here" I finished Course 1 & 2, and I'm now on Course 3. I'm often confused. I sometimes have to go over a lesson a couple of times. I ask questions and move ahead.

I'm not going as fast as others, or as fast as I'd like, but I keep moving forward and learn something new every day. Mostly it's just the realization as to how much I have left to learn.

Keep moving forward, change paths if you need, but keep going.

Phil, don't get caught up in the hype. Go at your own pace, there is no race to the finish. I am not as fast as some of the others either, but we'll all get there eventually. You're better off to slow down and make sure you really understand, that is the best approach. :)

I agree 100%.

I'm new here. So I started with Bootcamp. But right away I got really confused. Would you suggest starters use the Get Started program instead?

Hi. Some people jump right into Affiliate Bootcamp, especially if they don't have a niche of their own and want to promote WA. Others have a niche they want to build a website around. Some do one and then the other, some do both at the same time. It is a matter of choice and what fits with what you would like to do.

If Bootcamp is confusing you, which it does teach in a faster way, then you may want to click the green Get Started button. The lessons are thorough and easy to follow. You can always give it a try and see which one is more your style. :) Michelle

Thank you so much! I thought maybe I was just really SLOW!

Nope! :) Everyone goes at their own pace, so don't feel rushed. You'll get there!

Sherri, once i went back to Get Started things started to fall into place. I would hardly call myself a master, but I am moving ahead. Don't be afraid to change directions, or of going over lessons more than once. Ask questions, get help until what was difficult becomes easy. All the best.

Thanks Michelle! I've gone back to Get Started and the lessons seem to make more sense.

Thank you! It is so nice to get help from folks in the same boat.

Wonderful! Have a great day! :) Michelle

Hi David! -

If you Start at 'Get Started Here' - Kyle will lead you into the Bootchamp - if you want to promote WA.

Just follow the training to the letter - complete all tasks - and justdon't second guess anything wait for Kyle to tell you want to do and you won't go far wrong!

Good luck as you start you journey! :)

Hello Raven..... it all depends on your abilities and resources....i had limited computer skills so i have had a huge learning curve to get over. I have been working at both...but if i had to do it again i would start with Getting Started and then moved onto Boot camp when i felt more confident with my abilities!
I wish you great success here at WA....sunshiny smiles from Amanda

I did the training and built my website in unison so I didn't miss anything. I went between the training and it worked pretty well.
Kim :))

I agree that taking one or the other would be best :) Double the work load otherwise ! Good luck on whichever you choose.

That's up to you. Many do them together. I was about 2/3 of the way through with Get Started Here when I decided to go after Bootcamp. Then they added a 5th course to Get Started Here. They mirror each other a lot, but Bootcamp is more intense. Also, the commissions for WA are pretty doggone good. Now I'm in Bootcamp full time, going back on Friday. Try the first course and see what you think. You can always delay the rest of it until you are done with Get Started Here. Good Luck!

It depends. If you are wanting to promote WA, then you would go right to boot camp. If, on the other hand, you have a niche in mind and want to start creating your website on that, go into the green "Get Started Here" course 1 and begin there.

I know people who are doing both at the same time, I don't recommend it if you are just starting out. It is a lot of information and you have doubled your work load. Unless you have the time, it might be best to pick one or the other.

Just my opinion. Best to you! :) Michelle

I have a daughter who is on the Autism Spectrum. would this be an appropriate niche? Is it something I could make money from??

Any niche has the possibility to make money. You should Google it. If you see a lot of ads on the google search than its a plus. Because this is a disorder, you will have competition from magazines and authority sites like Wikipedia and WebMD. You will need to think about things to promote for this niche, make sure you think about your affiliates and check to see if there are any.

Check for keywords to make sure that the competition for keywords is reasonable before jumping into a niche. You will want the competition (QSR) to be below 300.

Your first website likely won't be your last. For your first website it is suggested to choose something that you are already interested in and know a lot about because it will be easier for you to write. Writing quality content is probably the most important thing, even more important that good keywords...

When you are getting started with this there will be times that you don't want to write. Times when you might want to just give up. Having a niche that you like and already know stuff about helps keep you going.

Thanks Kylie! I jut wrote a book and was thinking to start there and then get on with an affiliate product? Not sure, but thanks!

Hi Raven. I would say with your passion for your daughter and it's relation to the community yes. You could certainly build a website presence teaching and sharing and communication with those affected by Autism based on your experiences and research. I'm sure it could be monetized with books and Google Ad sense as long as you build it with great content and as well as reflect your personal aspect to it.

I know it doesnt happen overnight but is it possible to think I could run a business to the point where I could fire my boss within a year

It has happened with some members here. If you are starting from ground zero, it may take a bit longer. You can certainly be adding additional income by then. It all depends on your threshold.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/when-to-quit-your-day-job

That, my friend, is up to you. If you work hard enough, say daily post, sign up to Google Analytics, Google and Bing Webmaster Tools, generate targeted traffic through such things as FaceBook and Linkedin by setting up "Pages", place several relative good paying ads (and don't forget about ad links within your text), and especially having the right keywords used properly on each page/post (pages get ranked faster!) along with proper SEO, yes it is likely you will be successful within a year, or less.

Now if you're serious and have the time, don't place all your eggs in one basket! Have as many websites as you can properly manage. Start out with one, when all the preliminary work is done, and you're just blogging, and most important; your site is at least on the first page of Google, then start working on your next.

This is just a quick summary but I hope it helps!
