I want to start a website were I can post music and videos of artist that I am working with.
Yes, you can definitely do this. When uploading content to your website, you should be putting it on places like Soundcloud/Itunes or Youtube before it goes on your website.
Then you can integrate these into the website, but absolutely there are several people here using websites for bands.

This is very exciting news because I have been researching the internet for web hosting and site builders for bands and then I thought, "why should I pay extra for something that I may already have here at WA."

Google a very well known band and see how it is put together and go from there.I am sure you can find a band or 2 websites out here for your research.
