I have two grown children and Three Granddaughters. I have recently relocated to TN but grew up in Western NY.

I'm down to 2 Labrador Retrievers (Left to Right, Gracie and Elphaba)and am a dog trainer in my spare time. I was a member of a local Search and Rescue team and was training one of my Labs for this endeavor (Far Left). She is progressing well. The of the other is certified Therapy Dog, I have taught puppy obedience classes at night.

I spent 2010 on the unemployment rolls and found this place while out of work. I was able to dig out of my hole and found WA to provide some additional income.

I have now been at WA for 7 years. I have learned many things about how to build sites and have developed many sites for clients. Affiliate income is slow for me but only because I have been helping businesses directly. I may focus a bit more on affiliate marketing in the near future.

Over the years I have raised Monarch butterflies and released them back to the wild.Since I have come to WA I have raised several crops of butterflies. The Butterflies were tagged and released in August and September 2010 and 2011 and another crop in 2012. I collected them from the area raised them to Chrysalis stage and when they hatched I tagged them and sent them on their way. I tagged and released 20 Butterflies in 2010 and 19 in 2011 since I ran out of tags, this year I only released untagged Butterflies but 19 more were release to the wild.

Again in 2014 I had a bumper year for the Monarchs. Over 60 made it to the wilds as adults. 2015 was also a good year. Sadly, there were no butterflies in 2016. 2017 will be a different year for me as I'm no longer in Western NY. In TN the monarchs arrive early and are still in their northward journey so I won't be able to raise the Methusela generation that migrates back to Mexico in the fall. I'll still be planting Milkweed and developing a Monarch garden but the Monarch project has probably come to an end for me.

Labman's Goals 3
Money Goals
In my travels last night, I found that there were some new tasks added to the certification classes. So here I am to add my 2 cents.

I'm pretty much like everyone else with my money goals.
My first target is to make a replacement income from my former profession.

That looks like 7K/ month.
Ultimately, 20 k a month would allow my wife to stop delivering babies.

How much do I work, well occasionally I take time out for other things but right now, I work about 15-16 hours a day and 6-7 days a week. I'm dedicated to making this work.

I'm on my 3rd year of this and still at it.
1
Money I would be happy earning
2
Money I would be ecstatic earning
3
Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals

Hey Labman. Just checking, have you been with WA for 3 years now, or working elsewhere with those long hours.?

I am doing IM full time now. I tried to balance another job but that didn't work out too well for me.

Didn't know that was considered to be spam. Thanks for the heads up. Will make the change immediately.

I can understand not including them in my post if that's the rule. I don't get how links on my profile page can be considered spam.

They are not necessarily spam but are against the rules of posting inside WA. If you don't wish to loose posting priveleges then you need to comply with the rules.

I love that you have raised monarchs! What an awesome and worthwhile passion to pursue! I'm getting my first (mostly) lab pup in 2 weeks when she is 8 weeks old. I've been a Rottweiler person for the past 24 years, but I'm done with pure breeds and am now focusing on rescuing mutts. Best of luck to you with your Monarch garden and life in general! I wish you much prosperity and happiness!

Hi Craig,

Thanks very much for your help with my menu confusion, it works just as I wanted it now.

I have only one concern, it is that if you look at my website: https://easytoretire.com you can see the first post on the home page "Your 1st Step To An Easy Retirement - Wealthy Affiliate", then it appears also under menu "Highly Recommended", sub menu (as a post), "Wealthy Affiliate", just as I wanted it. My concern is that, is it not considered as a "duplicate post" or "plagiarism" by Google?.

Thanks again for you response.

Thank you. I too love dogs and Monarch butterflies. I'm painting a roses still life with the beautiful Monarch. I recently lost my friend of 15 years to second go with cancer. He was a beautiful white 55 lb bird dog. He lost a front leg and survived the Joplin tornado for obout two years. He was so wonderful. I have a slightly different size now. An adorable sassy Mexican Chihuahua weighing almost 4 lbs. At my age I thought it best. Lol
