I have two grown children and Three Granddaughters. I have recently relocated to TN but grew up in Western NY.

I'm down to 2 Labrador Retrievers (Left to Right, Gracie and Elphaba)and am a dog trainer in my spare time. I was a member of a local Search and Rescue team and was training one of my Labs for this endeavor (Far Left). She is progressing well. The of the other is certified Therapy Dog, I have taught puppy obedience classes at night.

I spent 2010 on the unemployment rolls and found this place while out of work. I was able to dig out of my hole and found WA to provide some additional income.

I have now been at WA for 7 years. I have learned many things about how to build sites and have developed many sites for clients. Affiliate income is slow for me but only because I have been helping businesses directly. I may focus a bit more on affiliate marketing in the near future.

Over the years I have raised Monarch butterflies and released them back to the wild.Since I have come to WA I have raised several crops of butterflies. The Butterflies were tagged and released in August and September 2010 and 2011 and another crop in 2012. I collected them from the area raised them to Chrysalis stage and when they hatched I tagged them and sent them on their way. I tagged and released 20 Butterflies in 2010 and 19 in 2011 since I ran out of tags, this year I only released untagged Butterflies but 19 more were release to the wild.

Again in 2014 I had a bumper year for the Monarchs. Over 60 made it to the wilds as adults. 2015 was also a good year. Sadly, there were no butterflies in 2016. 2017 will be a different year for me as I'm no longer in Western NY. In TN the monarchs arrive early and are still in their northward journey so I won't be able to raise the Methusela generation that migrates back to Mexico in the fall. I'll still be planting Milkweed and developing a Monarch garden but the Monarch project has probably come to an end for me.

Wow! I really enjoyed reading your profile especially the part about the search and rescue dogs and the monarch butterflies. As a former teacher, I planned a unit on search and rescue dogs. It was one of my favorite units. I think I enjoyed it as much as the students did.

Very nice to meet you.

Look forward to seeing your success here at WA.

Take care,

Jeannie

Hello your story is so very intriguing. Its nice to get to know you more. I will spend some time enjoying your posts.

Just to share a moment, I grew up on a dirt road full of milkweeds and can relate to enjoying the Monarch butterflies life cycle. As a matter of fact, just yesterday, I was enjoying a talk with my nature loving neighbor about this very subject.

You have a lot of training here that I will learn from and pass along as well. good day for now.

Hello Craig,

Thanks very much for following me. I'm now following you in return.

You have an impressive bio with a long-time affiliation with WA and I hope to learn from your considerable knowledge and experience.

Regarding the Monarch butterflies, perhaps you're aware that the Monarchs have been migrating through Minnesota (where I live) for ages. Like so many areas of the U.S., Minnesota has seen a dramatic reduction in the Monarch population. As you know, one of the reasons for this has been a steady loss of habitat that includes the elimination of their favorite food source - Milkweed. Well, the good news here is that something is now being done to reverse this trend. Many areas around the state have become proactive in restoring the habitat and planting a great deal of Milkweed in many locations. Although it's still a little early, the results thus far have been very encouraging.

Kudos to you for your hard work and dedication to the preservation of these magnificent creatures!

Cheers,
Dave

What an awesome story! I am a dog trainer also, from Eastern NY. My husband and I own 16 acres in southern TN and that will be our retirement home in 4 years. I can't wait! I have never heard of raising and tagging butterflies. That is fascinating! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the follow. I am also a huge butterfly fan. I provide lots of food for them. In fact, a lovely group of caterpillars chewed my dill plant to nubs, right as I went to pick some for pickles. That is ok though because I like the butterflies more than pickles. My in laws are Mexican and have been to the Monarch wintering grounds. I am hoping to be able to make the trip while we still have butterflies to see.

Hi Craig!
What an interesting life you have lead! I am totally amazed at what you've been able to accomplish. I don't really know how to train dogs, but my good hubby-buddy an' I have been very fortunate in that dogs an' most other animals just seem to know what we want them to do an' they usually do it.

Your Monarch Butterfly project completely takes my breath away. I never had any idea that tagging butterflies was something that could even be DONE. I s'pose I must have thought that if it was necessary to count 'em, someone maybe stood there an' held up a number while each butterfly cooperatively accepted that number. I certainly hope you have taken many pictures an' written many journal entries about your experiences. I would certainly be interested in seeing alla' that. An' I'm SURE that your posterity would love to see pictures an' know of your obvious love for the Monarch Butterflies. Please do that for the generations to follow.

An' if you happen to post it all on a website, I'm sure there are a lot more than ME who would devour such information!

Thank you so much for following me. I do appreciate it an' I am clicking to follow you, as well.
It's great to meet you. I really look forward to getting to know you an' wish the greatest good fortune in all you do.

Hello Labman. How are you doing? I have a concern that maybe you could help me out with. I am having a very difficult time using the sites that Kyle gave us in the lessons to search for free images that are not copyright finding the the pic that I am looking for. I am looking for free images of real book covers of books I have read. Do you know where I could find those? And do you know how I could find out whether or not an image is copyright or not? I am guessing that once I am set up as an affiliate with Amazon, I could use any book images from their site..... yeah?
Reply
Labman Premium
Yes, you can use the image link from Amazon. Unless you take a picture of the book, this will be your only option.

Hi Labman. I am currently on Lesson 7, about the Low Hanging Fruit, and 5 keywords under 100 QSR. I am probably even ditzier than I thought, but I am going to ask a dumb question (as usual lol) The 5 keywords under 100 QSR..and the corresponding post...should they be on my niche and website? Or "Low Hanging Fruit?" I really feel silly asking sucha...what is probably an easy answer to others. Thanks.

Yes, the whole point of finding the keywords is so that you can write articles (posts) on your website.

Hi Craig,

I am currently on the free service and hope to go premium ASAP. (I have 6 days left to communicate on these boards w/o going to premium.)

I have a specific initial goal that MUST be accomplished before I do so:

Build a website from your free service that generates enough residual income the pay for the cost of the premium service.

Any advice or help you can give me to accomplish this will be GREATLY appreciated. You can also follow me on my LinkedIn account by googling my name -ALLAN-

I was looking over some of your posts to see how WA puts "it" all together into a finished product.

A couple of observations:

1. You really do n0t sell anything, just show friends where to buy product or two if they are interested;

2. You are a real woodworker!

I mention that last one because before my back injury I considered myself an amateur woodworker, but after some of your work? I couldn't possibly put myself into the same classification as you!

Let's just say I dappled with wood. You work with wood.

Thanks for the lesson!

Dear Craig,
I just took time to read, your profile (I have major computer problems, what a pain! So I have gotten behind) You are my man, raising Monarch Butterflies, Wow! I have planted milkweed all over the property, but each year I see fewer and fewer on them. WSU is doing a study on why they are declining. I would love to raise them! Do you find eggs and raise them? I have seen very few eggs the last two years.

Yes, I search for eggs but often won't get the timing right. Caterpillars are also collectable and you can raise them in a bucket.

Hello Labman. I have a beagle, his name is Ollie and he is a handful. He will be 1yr old in July. Wow! You have a very interesting bio, I never thought about raising butterfly's! Can't milkweed be used as a painkiller? I do believe I read that somewhere. Apparently I have 7days to communicate this way so if I go quiet after that you will know I'm not premium. Have a good night! I need to get to bed, I have to get up early in the AM for work.

Hi there. I saw the picture of the labs and that is how I decided who to pick to help me with level 2 lesson 9. Very scientific I thought. I have seemed to have a lab mix in my home at all times. There is also a corgi always. It feels a bit over flowing with animals here sometimes.
I was reading about your butterflies. I did not know that they were called "crops". I can't even imagine how you would tag them.
I have been in the animal field all my life. Computers, which I generally refer to as "evil TV.'s" , I know very little about. I also have no social media skills.
So this is a great choice for me , don't you think. Actually I have not asked anyone at the house to help me bcs they just lean over you and do it for you. I have actually figured out a lot more than I thought I was capable of.
Moving on, I have gone and started a G+ acct. I have fumbled around in there for a good while. I do not know how to drop it, or join it over to here.
I tried to do what someone suggested about going to my search bar on G+ but no luck. I also looked around on my profile there and any other button that I could push. UGH....

Excited to connect here on WA. Have a great night!

Good day Craig, Going good thanks for the video; If I want to add say 50 products to my site will this automatically populate on my main page like I have it ? Also , in my back office if I want to create Another website for a diff product , do I just go to DIVI at bottom of my WP ? thanks Gary
Reply
Labman Premium
Another Website for a different product will require a new URL and a new installation of WordPress and another instance of the theme.

No, the way that the theme is currently set up, you would need to add the new products to the main page individually. You can duplicate the row and make changes but each one will need to be separate because of the way that Amazon Terms of Service are worded. Amazon doesn't want people creating Stores outside of Amazon so they make it difficult to do this and impossible to use the Woocommerce plugin for their products.
Reply
GaryLalande2 Premium
I will try Ali express as well, I think they all products in bulk all at once...they have a plug-in for this. In meantime will just duplicate rows with either Amazon or Ali, take it slow . So new sites just have more WP logins via Site Rubix - Thanks much Gary L>
Reply
Labman Premium
WA hosting is available for 25 sites that you own the URL. An additional 25 sites are available with the .siterubix.com extension. The siterubix sites have some limitations.

If you aren't using Amazon, the Woocommerce plugin should be usable for those products. This could simplify what you want to do.
I would make sure to continue with the WA training before you get too involved with adding products.

Good evening Craig !
Your article about your dog's training and your activity among the Monarch butterflies caught all my attention . It must be captivating to work at different stages of the development of these " flying beauties of the wild " and it is sad to hear that they are a dying breed as you seem to acknowledge it ? Is it for this reason that you say that the Monarch project has come to an end for you ?
Anyway,I wish you good luck with your dogs and your activity with the butterflies for this year and would be interested in hearing about new developments.

I have relocated to Tennessee. The Monarch's population here is still moving North so the Methuselah generation doesn't occur here in this location.

It may still be possible to raise a few but not in the numbers that occurred when I was in Western New York.

She just turned 4 last week. We have taught her many tricks, and she loves to play hide & seek with my daughter. The problem is that she dislikes my husband! He was away overseas for 2 years (only visiting every couple months), and now she growls at him whenever he is in the room and doesn't let him touch her! It's really frustrating. He wants us to get rid of her, but I can't imagine doing that!

Oh my. Well, I recommend Puppy Ping Pong.
Treats I use are Microwaved Hot Dogs. Microwave them until they are like jerky. I slice them lengthwise into about 8 strips then microwave them. Paper towels absorb the grease.

Puppy ping pong is a way to strengthen the recall command and create trust. It sounds like the dog doesn't trust your hubby.
Position about 15 feet apart (in a controlled area- A fenced area is perfect). He holds the dog and you call her. She gets a treat when she gets to you. Turn her around and have him call her. Treat when she reaches him.

If she only goes to him reluctantly, he needs to make it fun for her. With Labs food is usually sufficient. If she doesn't come at all, shorten the distance. Have hubby use a high happy voice not a gruff man tone. He can also try standing in front, showing her the treat and taking a few steps backward while calling her.

5-10 minute sessions multiple times a day. if you can keep to a schedule, that works best for the dog.

Hello Labman, Loved your About Me story and I love butterflies, too! I think Labs are one of the best dog breeds out there, the other is the Miniature Schnauzer. My husband & I had three Miniature Schnauzers at one point in time but they've since gone to doggie heaven. I keep threatening to get a Schnauzer puppy again but haven't followed through yet. There are a few people out there that raise butterflies. Not many understand how even less have the desire. So yes, it is rare to see someone raising butterflies.
I learned by doing. Years ago someone offered my Dad a Chrysalis. I picked up on the idea and ran with it.

Hi there Craig,
Dog trainer here as well. Wonderful to hear about your work with the monarchs.... very cool indeed. My daughter, also Gracie... but only with two legs, loves butterflies. We raised one as well that we found out on some plants in our flower beds. Aptly named the butterfly plant, we were so delighted to see that a monarch had come and created a chrysalis on our plant. We took the plant inside to our sun-room in a big old cheese puffs container and waited patiently for the magic to happen. It was so cool when it did! I know Gracie will never forget that and hope she does the same with her children when she gets old enough to have her own family! Good to see you on here and I may have questions later.

Thanks for the follow,
Jax

Craig I just read your Bio here and I pay attention to the migration patterns of the Monarchs and Birds as well.I've never raised them, but I shelled out a nice chunk of change to fill the old swimming pool hole with a butterfly garden for my wife Debbie. The most interesting visitor to our garden thus far has been a hummingbird moth. Also, my dad raised five generations of Golden Retrievers through my childhood into my adulthood. Gracie and Elphaba are beautiful dogs.

Love butterflies. One of the things that I do is create headbands and barrettes with butterflies. At one time we had a monarch butterfly in the house. It was part of a Sunday school project for one of my daughters. We released it into the yard. The next year I believe it came back. Nice talking with you.

Hey Craig, Thanks for the follow. I think you may have been my first. I’m new to the community but am excited to see other eccentrics like myself. Knowing people and being a person that does things out of the ordinary makes life interesting. Regarding your hobby, I saw some butterflies that should have been in the Amazon Rain Forrest. They literally looked like birds. I had no idea butterflies got so large. Nice to meet you Labman.

Craig,
Love your dog picture. I have two rescues. Your Monarch butterfly experiences really intrigued me as I used to live in Cape May NJ which was a Monarch butterfly stopping location. When my son was younger we volunteered for a program that tagged the monarchs to that they could be tracked. Not many people know about the Monarchs.

I was raised with black labs. My favorite memory when I was around 5, I let the pups out (which was a no no). I layed on the grass and the puppies crawled all over me, licking me puppy breath. Probably one of my youngest memories. When I think of that- its my happy place.

Hi, Craig. Enjoyed your profile. Labs are wonderful dogs. I had a black lab, Raven, that I trained and certified with Therapy Dogs International. She earned her Tail Waggin' Tutor title for 100 visits to libraries and schools to listen to kids read who are embarrassed to read in front of people. My first kid we worked with is in 5th grade now and is reading on an 8th grade level. Was several levels behind in first grade when he started reading to Raven. I lost her in 2014 to cancer, and I still miss her so much. I have a "pointador" that I rescued about 6 months ago, but she is not going to qualify for pet therapy because she is too shy and nervous. She's sweet, but I do miss my hobby and "my"kids. She just turned 2 in July, so there's still a lot of crazy lab puppy left in her. She's in her 3rd class (advanced) at PetSmart, but I am still having problems with her heeling/loose leash walking...still wants to pull. Any suggestions? But I digress. Just had to respond to you with a screen name like that! Back to WA, I am a newbie, just going through my first series of training videos. Very excited about the program and the community and really enjoying it. How about you? What's your status?
Reply
Labman Premium
When she starts to pull. Walk in the other direction. One quick jerk on the leash (no choke chain, just a flat collar) if she doesn't respond have a tidbit in your hand for when she does comply. 10 minutes of that and lots of changes in direction and she will be totally focused on you. She gets a bit of a treat then off you go. ( I use hotdog pieces microwaved to a jerky like texture, pea sized bits)
Keep the sessions short but do them 3-4 times a day.

We're dog lovers here, too! Nice to meet you! Our two Australian cattle dogs are super smart (Lassie-level smart, I like to joke) but they can be very capricious.

Oh, Monarchs. I envy you this hobby. One of my most beautiful childhood memories was laying still on the grass in the late afternoon of summer, and have a swarm of these orange butterflies land all over me.

I'm on the east coast of Australia, what kinds of plants do you recommend I plant in the garden to encourage them to visit?

Bright colors and nectar bearing flowers are usually effective at bringing the butterflies. I'm not familiar with your native species but here in the states the Butterfly bush and purple cone flowers are quite effective.

Thank you for your offer to help and I am taking you up on that. I am referring to the video in Course 1, Lesson 9 I believe. Kyle is showing how we change the privacy policy to our own website name we created in WA. But when I went to do that I noticed my privacy policy had already been updated with my domain name, so I didn't need to do that step. In other words I didn't have to go thru the policy and change it from siterubix to my domain name. I hope I am making sense here. And he said we also would have to update google analytics. I don't know what that is or how to do it.

Go into GA and create a new entity with the new website name then add the tracking code to All In One SEO. In a couple of days you will start seeing the traffic from the new code to the site. In 30 days you can remove the siterubix site from Google Analytics and use the new one exclusively.

After you tag the butterflies and release them, Do people contact you when they find them and read the tag. I wish you lived near Philly because I could use your dog training expertise to help with a dog that we rescued from a shelter about a year ago. The shelter and our Vet both told us in the beginning that he might reach 70 lbs. Well he's about 14 months old now and was 105 lbs about a month ago at his last Vet appt. He still hasn't filled out yet either. He's not a bad dog or mean or anything like that. I just wish that he would respond a little quicker when I'm calling for him. Any Suggestions? you might find this post helpful. http://candres.siterubix.com/the-recall-or-come-command/

From the first blog I did here so it is a bit older post but the technique is sound. Basically, you want to make coming to you the best thing in his life. A good high value treat is the key. It doesn't have to be food although if that is his motivation this will work well. I have one that goes nuts for a toy and another that is ball crazy so much that she will dive under a bag full of hot dogs for her ball.
Whatever motivates him the best should be used to treat them on the recall command.

Hi Craig, thank you for following me, and I've followed back. I'm also a fellow lab owner to a beauty who just turned 1 named Rosie. She keeps us busy, but she's a GREAT dog.

If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out. I'm new to WA and new(ish) to affiliate marketing, but I have quite a few years of internet marketing experience helping businesses get found in search and, because of this, obviously it helped increase their direct online sales. Don't ask me why I waited so long to try this :)

Good luck to you!

I live in SW Virginia and we could find no milkweed, no butterflies in 2016 here either.

Googling has not helped, but I would like some direction on fully backing up my site; the use of parent and child themes; the difference between WP.com and WP,org, and other assorted stuff.

Hello Craig,

Thanks for following me. It is amazing to read your story and to see you are giving back to nature / the universe. It is a good thing to do and I believe everyone should do something similar once their goals are reaching fruition, well I will, rest assured! :)))

I like your dogs, they look adorable! Dogs are true friends and always there for us.

Some of your posts, I have read in the past similar during my research what is important to implement on your website. I surely will read the other ones and implement what I learn from your posts, thanks! Have you ever considered to write a post about the sound to be used on websites? I think 432hz will be the way to go as it will give a positive experience to any user when they hear it. I do not think many have thought about that. Would you be interested to create a blog with me about this, so we can teach others too?

Please keep up the good work and be here around for us, you are an amazing person!

You do keep busy and have some interesting skills and hobbies. Sorry to hear that you will have to give up the Monarchs.

I also have a web development service where I design websites for customers. I haven't brought in any new customers for quite a while because I want to spend more time on digital and product marketing for myself.

I know there is more money in marketing than in website development, so that is where I want to be right now. I don't like placing so much emphasis on money since that isn't what it's all about. But I have spent so much time, effort and money on trying this, that I at least need to pay myself back. I've just started with WA. I'm surprised that you have been here for 7 years. WOW!

Let me know how it goes.

I saw your message on my profile page earlier today, and I want to thank you that you invited me to follow! It has been quite overwhelming since I joined here a couple of days ago, not the least am I impressed by the sincerity of the people in this community. We are all uniquely different, coming from different backgrounds, but deep down we are all on the same journey. I came here by discovering WA through reviews, and once here, I like what I see. I will update my profile in the coming days and weeks, presenting my work. To me, the potential here is a new experience, a new route, so I will take one step at a time. That is really cool I used to raise monarch butterflies when I was a kid and I know only like 1 out of a hundred caterpillars successfully makes it to be a butterfly so 60 is quite an accomplishment. I only raised them 1 at a time and I've successfully released 3 of them and it was a big deal for me

Craig,

Wow! The butterfly releases must be a sight to behold! :-) Your labs are beautiful too. My nearby family members only get labs for their sweet disposition. If I wasn't in a condo, gone for a good part of the day, and unable to fence my backyard due to HOA rules, I would have one as well. Because this is the case, I have a parakeet named Perth.

You would sign up with Amazon as an Affiliate (Associate). They then provide a link for the product or page (on their site) that you promote. When people click on the link and buy, you are credited with the sale and earn a commission on the sale.

I too as a kid enjoyed Monarch butterflies and watched the Chrysalis stage with sheer awe....They were attached to a plant I called Milk Weed and I would break off a stalk and place in a jar to watch them change....the glowing points of light on the cocoon as the change progressed was something of wonder....and when they hatched and pumped their wings to be ready for flight....this was in Wichita, Kansas and I was just a Cub Scout...

Hi Labman,..

I need some advise...

I just want to make sure how Traffic and Rankings works.

As per my understand I believed on search engines traffic and ranking for our website is totally depending upon our websites pages contents and not on the domain name(s). So if this the case we can put as many items as we want on our websites as long as it is related or close to our niche and domain name.

Or do you suggest to create different domain names and websites. I have not create any content though this is the frame of the website http://electronics-universe.com/

What do you think and what's your idea and advise.

I select the area on my blog where the link is to go. I get the link from amazon text only. I can see in the html code my reference is there. HI Craig,
I heard through the grapevine you knew a thing or two about pet care. Our furry child has been dealing with what seems to be Kennel Cough. I have taken her to the vet numerous times over almost the last 4 months now with nothing but more bills and no cure. She had to be put under anesthesia to remove teeth and that's when I think she contracted it.
My husband and I are burned out from vet visits. If you know of any affective natural remedies to get rid of it I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you much,

Teka

My first question is how old is the dog? Have there been any heart issues. Often congestive heart can show up as a cough. It is also possible that the anesthetic delivery device scratched his/her throat.

I suspect if it was Kennel cough it would have been diagnosed by now. Perhaps another vet? One that has no history with the dog and may have fresh eyes?

As for natural remedies, I'm afraid I can't be of much help there. Soothing remedies for people can often be problematic for dogs. I haven't researched the possible treatments.
Reply
She's ten years old and strong as an ox Still runs around like a puppy so she doesn't know her age. lol The vet thought that was the issue as well from her throat being scratched. But It's been almost 4 months since her surgery and I would think that would have been healed by now. All of her tests and bloodwork came back with an A+ so theres no heart issues. As far as another vet, he is the other vet. lol This is her new care provider. I'm also locked in with this vet for a year because of their wellness plan.

I would think any scratch on her throat would be healed as well in 4 mos. I'm sorry, I don't have any other suggestions. I'm not a vet just a trainer.

Hi Labman. Those are some nice looking labs, I have a husky/lab mix. I've decided to try to supplement my income and stumbled upon WA. So you raise Monarch butterflies? My family planted milkweed in a pot outdoors last year and it has grown well. There were lots of caterpillars recently but am unsure if the plant being in a pot is an issue for them after they're done eating and need to move on...any advice?
Thanks

Kevin
Reply
Labman Premium
Well if they are Monarch's they will eat their fill then turn into a Chrysalis. They will search for the highest point they can reach so it's much better to have the milkweed in the ground to enable their crawl. Just let the milkweed seed and next year it will pop up all over the yard.

Hi Labman just want to say hello it is so great to connect with people across the globe. We had a beautiful golden retriever, Tails, the boys named him, such a wonderful dog, as all are. He gave us such joy and companionship, we lost him when he was 13. Died in ours arms. Now we have a border collie kelpie cross, well if any dog deserves to be on a farm herding sheep, this beautiful dog does. Instead of suburbia, one day I will be in the SW of W Australa where he can run and enjoy. . I feel I shall enjoy working and sharing with you, my journey, as I enjoy yours.

Lastly since i have created the website now and i am looking for comments in-order to get a good ranking on google, can i post my web link on my facebook/twitter/tumblr account for people(friends) to comment about my website or that can create a problem for me if one of my friends copies my work and also make a website similar to mines (copy n paste) and wait for google to approve. since mine's is still waiting for approval then we'll have two waiting for approval, wouldn't that be a problem for me?.

Sorry with a long message Labman.

There is a new sports app about to launch that's going to be bad ass! It is not being built by amateurs, this is a seasoned team led by Mark Mongie, designer of Madden Football and other game hits, building this game. Instead of paying millions of dollars to an advertising agency, they are paying the common man to spread the word and create a buzz about this thing. Think Uber and Air BNB, not Amway. This isn't an ongoing opportunity. It ends in a few weeks. You can sign up now and invite friends to play a free sports app. That's it. Get paid when they play and when the people they share with play, and the people those share with play and on and on! You can see and join my team for this great opportunity before it launches and build your team before Oct 1st because that's the official launch date and no more affiliates will be added at that time, only players after that. Go to unitedgames.com and use my access code 4484d6 to join as a affiliate, and get ready to make alot of money..especially with your network of followers..you share this with them and you'll do super good with this affiliate program bc almost everyone loves sports and this is gonna change the game w/this sports app! If you don't join within 72hrs let me know bc i'll have to get you a new access code..Enjoy my friend!:) Let's network and make money in your sleep!

Dear Labman,

Thank you for sharing your love of butterflies with us. Please give it a go. At least, you will know how to make website which is a hobby at the moment which you can turn into a business. That is what I am going to do. Once I know how to make websites, I'll make a website about offering my services as a webdesigner.

Hello Craig, Another question for you- I notice on some peoples pages/posts that in thier comment area, you can leave your email and website info...I do not have that in my comment section. How can I change that? Or is that based on the theme I am using?
Thnx for your reply.

Thanks for the follow! I have been with WA for a few weeks now, and I am moving along with my training!

I have yet to find anyone actually say that they are successful financially as a result of WA. Are we prohibited from saying such things? I always here the encouraging "stick with WA and it will work", but never the other piece of that statement ("this is how it worked for me....).

What has been your experience so far?

It's not prohibited, just bad form.

BEAUTIFUL DOGS! Oh my gosh, I love your dogs. Sounds like you're a man in love with the natural world, Craig. Wonderful what you do with your time. Thank you for following me. I hope to get to know you better in time. Best of luck operating in high gear. That's what I'm doing too.

Labman,
Love your website on the services-- Thank you for the follow.
I had a chocolate Lab named Charlie Crown. We had him from a pup to 14 years. Easy to train. Your clicker reminds me of my
handslap on my hip after a finger snap. He responded so great and later a slight touch on my side would get his attention, especially in the New Hampshire woods.
My best to your success and hope WA continues t be a blessing

Hi Labman.

I am a 21 yr breeder of American Cocker Spaniels. My first niche is going to be Raising Cocker Spaniel Puppies. I have done much puppy training over the years as well as obedience and agility.

I am currently unemployed due to one of my daughters having a stroke. I helped to be one of 3 caregivers for her when she needed 24/7 care. She is now speaking and memory is good... doing very well at 7 mo. post stroke...walking without a cane now and the arm is slow to come back but is improving. I, on the other hand, I have turned 60 yr old since all this has happened and having a time getting back to work / getting a job. I have always been in the medical field and never had probs with getting work so I am not getting why this has been an issue. Age? Wish I could prove that as I would never have to work again...LOL

I find IM very sensible and interesting so like you said, I am ready to kick this up into a full time job. I do not have puppies right now so I have all day to dedicate to this adventure. Just thought we sounded a lot alike and wanted to write to you.

Thank YOU for the follow! Great dogs! Love what you do! My wife and I plan to start a "senior dog" rescue in about 10 years once the kids are off to college. I would like to add local wildlife rescue to the mix after that. We adopt up to 4 senior dogs at a time and they live out their lives with us. 6 have passed on and we currently have 4. I'll post a picture soon.

Labman,
I'm a labman too as I've owned and trained six for my personal hunting dogs and trained several ( spare tire dogs in case my main dog was out of commission for hunting) about nine Labs, three English Setters, 2 Brittanies and at the moment, a German Shorthair Pointer. Labs are wonderful, smart and companionable dogs and I've been blessed to have owned some great ones.
I'm a retired business owner who flunked retirement and am looking for something interesting, challenging and profitable to keep me entertained. So, I joined WA. Hope the WA business is going well for you and I'd like to stay in touch. I have relatives in the Olean, NY area and I visit occasionally. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet your pups on my next visit to NY. At the moment I live in the Atlanta area after living for over 40 great years in Minnesota. After I sold my business my wife pleaded with me to move to Atlanta to be near her daughter's family.
My friends call me the "Roosterchaser" for my passion for hunting pheasants. Best of luck to you in your WA business!

Not a lot of pheasants up here any more. The fox and coyote have staged a comeback and decimated the pheasant population.
My first Lab, Brandy, I ran field trials with the NAHRA group. He was a hunting machine. Now we hunt for humans.

I love the versatility of the breed. Everything from emotional therapy to gun dogs. Just depends on their training.

Olean is about 2 hours from me. Let me know when you are in the neighborhood.

Like you I have dogs, is it possible to train a Basset mine seems
to be unaware of the concept. We also have cats and parrots so it's a bit of a zoo. I've come to WA to try and figure out a way of
earning whilst semi-retired and not being in good health.

Bassets can be difficult to train. They are quite motivated by bunnies though. Mostly, they are just hard headed.

Find a toy or treat that they are nutty about and use lots of repetition and positive reinforcement for the stuff you want.

Don't expect miracles. They like to lounge. Perhaps a stuffed bunny on a rope dragged in front of the dog will provide enough reward at the end of a session with food treats for the small behavior rewards.

My Basset really liked small bits of microwaved hot dog. Dried in the microwave to jerky consistency.

Hey Labman,

You are most certainly welcome. In return, I want to say I am mighty appreciative of your having followed so early even though I had not done much yet here at WA. I am learning quite a ton already thanks to Kyle's apparent awesome natural gifts at laying down instructions.

This community is awesomely supportive. I love it. Hope I can always turn to you, should I run into some kind of Jam or so, which I know for sure I will, given my really humble rookie level relative to this Online Marketing Business Discipline & my time availability challenges. Really great hearing from you.

Hello Labman,
Please check out my site at: http://lady-ps-home-business-connection.com
My URL shows up on my home page a the beginning of my Post. When I edit it, the URL is not there, it only shows up when the post goes live. I can't figure out how to get rid of that. What do I do? Thank You

Craig, I'm glad to hear that WA helped you earn an income so you could do the things you are passionate about. Thanks for your story. I planted milk weed and cone flowers behind my garage a couple years ago. The cone flowers are flourishing and I noticed that I now have a couple of milkweed plants. I look forward to see the Monarchs on their travels south.

Thank you for the follow, Labman. It must be great fun teaching pups. I lost my dog last year and I don't think I'll ever overcome the pain. The most I can do is gradually turn it into good memories. I wish you the best and thanks in advance for your helpful training and blogs!

Hey Craig,

Just thought I'd say I'm also a dog man. Its not the best photo of him in my profile picture but that's my 10 month old 'Fox Red Lab" named Rusty. If you don't have any experience with this breed/color I highly recommend getting a look at one....absolutely handsome.

Hey, Craig!

I'm going to be a bit shallow here and say I may have added you back so quickly because of your dogs! I grew up with labs and absolutely adored them! They can be such bone-heads sometimes, but they are a great breed to have.

Living out on my own now, I own a hyperactive little Corgi named 'Charlie' and boy - oh - boy, he is a handful!

It's great to see a fellow dog lover on here!

Take care,
M
