I don't understand the concept as how to change a link or what links to change.
Good day to you, Carol. The original reason to use a 'pretty link' was to disguise an Affiliate link. Most people already know what an Affiliate link looks like and many people for some reason won't click an Affiliate link even if it would save them money. This started the use of using a pretty link instead so people would not know the difference. Now you can use Google URL Shortener to do same thing.

There is actually no need to use pretty links any longer. So totally ignore it, and move forward. I am going to be moving this out of the training as masking your links is no longer a requirement. :)
I get it is not a requirement but what about from the visual aspect of looking at a long and ugly affiliate link?

The video that shows about creating pretty links is completely different from what shows up on my screen. Therefore I'm lost as what to do.

Press PrtScr button of your computer. Open MS paint, click on paste button. Save.

I use Jing, it works very well and I have it always at the top of my chrome window available for use....I can also capture video using it...I think I have the paid version (there is a free version) but it is like $15 a year...Check it our versus some others that commenters have added and see what you think! Cheers! Dave : )
A screen shot is basically a picture of whatever is on your computer monitor as you use it. Each computer system does them differently. You could probably google search and get a good clear answer and instructions how to do it specific to the computer you are using.

I would go to SiteRubix support and describe the problem to them, what device and browser you are using, maybe even the virus protection you are using...Add in some screen shots, and they will get to the bottom of the problem for you...They are VERY good at what they do! Cheers! Dave : )
