About ChrisTowers

I'm 46 and i'm English/American but I reside in Greece now .. where the sun shines. All i need is the security to enjoy it to the maximum and be completely independent.

Since moving here I have learned some of the Greek language and also speak German and some Italian!

My previous career was serving as a Firefighter for many years .. a career I loved and took great pride in. I love helping other people and being there for people in need. So for me it was a great career and it was an honor to serve.

I am an avid lover of playing the guitar and also like to keep as fit as possible. I'm a friendly guy and always will lend an an ear to anyone who wants to talk.

I hope not only to be successful here, but also wish to make friends for a long time to come.

Also if anyone is working on a project which is similar to my niche area feel free to drop me a line. I am always interested to learn and share ideas and help each other along!!

Thanks

Chris

Money Goals
Well ... in all honesty .. i don't think money is everything .... but it sure takes the sting out of not having any!! Financially i would be happy making a normal monthly salary equivalent. I am not saying i don't want more, but i am being realistic too. If i could make myself very comfortable by the age of 60 i will be happy... i am now 44. But my goal is to make as much money as possible .. i would be happy with a couple of thousand a month... but if i can exceed this i will be more than happy. Time wise i am willing to give it my all.. I have spent a lot of time in the past building my own site (which i still have) . and spending a lot of money, with little in return.. so i am willing to give it all i have to achieve success.

Nice perspective Chris. It seems though you only here 2 kinds of people say "money isn't everything." People who have a bunch, and people who don't have any. Everybody else, in the middle understands that it can solve a lot of problems, prevent other problems... and cause even more problems.

Yeah, you are right, don't get me wrong, i make ends meet, i work hard as i have always done. But sometimes i think it would be nice to just have the financial freedom to enjoy later life, and to see my family good. I mean .. what happens when you get to the age of retirement, and the salary is no longer there?.. i want to be a millionaire as i am sure all of us do, but with realism, just a steady income to provide i would be more than happy with.

Superb goals Chris! You have a large network and community here at WA that you can leverage for help and support along the way, myself included.

It all starts with a goal...then is followed by action...then is followed by results. This is going to be how it pans out for you and I can't wait to hear about all of your successes in the days, weeks, and months ahead! :)

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the feedback and yes it helps me very much. As far as the alt on the images don't I just put that in where it says alt before I post the image if there is more to it than yes please send me the training link. The menu I will change and for a contact form do you know the best plugin to use for that and I still have not set up an autoresponder yet. I am having trouble because some are confusing to understand and I just want a free and easy one to set up. Thanks again, Chris you were very helpful. Have a great weekend :)

Hey Chris,

Interesting story of moving to Greece; where the sun shines, as compared to England I suppose.lol..Well I can relate I totally relish the year round sunshine as a Caribbean man..

Thanks for the review on my website. I take all of your advice..though I may have to check with you from time to time for some "know-how" to do some of the stuff you advised.

Cheers man. I will give you that follow..

Hi, Chris. Man wish I could move to Greece, must be nice. I want to, first of all, thank you for serving as a firefighter, That to me is one of the most honorable and respectful careers a person can choose. The big part is you choosing to put yourself in harm's way for people you don't even know. Again thank you for that. I, myself, love music too, I am trying to teach myself to play the autoharp. My fiancee, who passed in 2011, bought it for me for my birthday, I would sit and try to play by sound while watching him play the guitar. Those were some of the most fun and intimate times that are dear to my heart and keep me smiling on days when the sun doesn't shine, both literally and figuratively. Anyway thank you for your service and I am following you now. I know in my heart that someone that gives/gave so much will definitely prosper in this endeavor and environment.

Take care and have a great day.

Hi Chris, I have a question, I was reading your blog here: my.wealthyaffiliate.c0m/christowers/blog/question-on-alt-attribute-for-images-anyone-help-me and I see you have a backlink to your site. How do I have the same backlink to my site just like your blog post?

(replace c0m because I cannot send link)

I do not recall putting a link back to my site within this blog..

I do not normally do it unless I need someone to take a look at something when I need advice!

But if you need to do it.. just copy the URL from the page you need and paste it into your question or blog...

Easy :)

Chris
