it might be worth going through the contact page for accounts queries.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good PDF Editor? I prefer a free one, but I am also open to a paid one that's not too expensive.
Joshua
You should be able to do some editing in Acrobat for free you'd have to check to see if the payed version allows you to edit hyperlinks in th published PDF.
Thanks, Tommy, but FormMate only seems to be available for the Mac. At least, I can't seem to find anything for Windows.
Joshua
I should have provided more detail. What I need is the ability to edit hyperlinks in a PDF document.
Joshua
Thanks, Loes.

You can add hyperlinks in a word doc and they stay after you've converted it into a PDF
I don't know if this program is helpful

Thanks, Sheryl.

You can turn any document into a PDF if you add it to Google Docs. Does't cost a thing. Just upload the document and click "download as PDF".
Thanks, Jay.

I think ive always found adobe cloud and premier pro ok at 14.99 per month. you can enable many features or take a complete package with all the creative suits totally your call.
Free is better at first anyway compression is not hard for file sizes these days.
Thanks, Michael.
One of these might be exactly what I am looking for. I need to be able to edit hyperlinks in PDF files.

Has anyone built websites for others for sale to them? If so, what kind of pricing was involved, and how did you handle hosting, access, and other such matters?
Yes, I once sold a 5 year old domain on "Flippa.com", then discovered that you can sell your fully live websites, domains, YouTube channels and more.
There are lots of people here doing that.
I see DomW, owner of Human Proof Designs has already been suggested.
He's definitely one to contact.
Hi Joshua, I’m looking to do one for a family member as a test run to see if I could do it as a business venture. I’m thinking I’ll sign him up as a Premium member, I’ll build the site as Admin, add him as a User and once it’s done hand it all over.
For a domain and a years managed hosting it will be about $500 AUD. He will have ongoing Tech Support plus he can learn how to mange his Wordpress site here. If it goes pear shaped I would still be able to go in with his permission to help fix any issues (at an hourly rate of course).
He has a small pest control business, so not interested in the affiliate marketing side of WA, but it’s still a great place to have your site hosted.
I’m thinking of offering 2 packages: Basic with 5 pages $350, or Premium with 10 pages including a couple with good content $450. Plus they would have the $500 hosting and domain fees. That’s AUS $.
Obviously you are thinking about it, so if you can see any issues please let me know, perhaps we can toss some ideas around to see how this might work for both of us.
Looks like you already have a number of good answers plus links to point you in the right direction. Good luck in your search!!

This webinar on that topic by Jay might answer some of your questions Building Websites for Clients And here's a written summary of the Webinar by Barbara: Building Websites for Clients by Jay Neill ~Jude
Hi Joshua
I think there are a few, but the most well-known I think is "DomW" from HumanProofDesigns. (If you type DomW into the search bar you'll get to his profile, but I guess you know that.) ;-)
Hope this helps!

I visited my "About" page today and noticed that some of the wording was misplaced. After getting into the editor, it was clear that the wording was exactly as it should be---I
Did you try another pc or a different network than your own? Are all of your plugins updated? Did you recently update any of them? Press F12 and look for a tab called network. Then go to your page. Look for any errors in the network tab. Might need to get support involved.
Good Luck Joshua.
Tried two different PCs, Four browsers, cleared cache...TWICE, all plugins/themes up to date, F12 no errors noted.
I think I may save the info, delete the page, re-paste the info into a new page, and go from there.
The, if same problem persists, get with support.
Pm me the page url. I don’t mind taking a look. Tomorrow. Wait, today? Oh man, it’s bed time!!! Send it. :)
Usually when this happens to me, I have to clear my cache in my browser then reopen it. Make sure you close the entire browser right after clearing cache and then reopen everything. It should look correct after that.
Yea, since I'm using Elementor for page design I did some posts in the post area skipping Site Content. Unfortunately with this process you don't get the word count (not that it really matters) and you can't organize into buckets and easily see what has been ranked in Google (that does matter).
S,o now I start in Site Content and if I want to format the post with Elementor I do it after it's published. The down side of that is I can't use a Elementor template. Nothing's perfect but I get the results I want even if it's an extra step or two.
I do copy my published posts into a MS Word dpc to run spelling and grammar checks because Word picks up things that the Site Content checker does not. My OCD.... :)
LOL probably more than you wanted to know.
No.
more that I need to know in fact as it goes Jay @magistudios uses word too. So that is fab to know and thank you ;-))
I originally wrote it up in Site Content. When I thought I was finished, I published it to my site. However, later, I discovered a small error and went into my WP editor to correct it. After the "Update," I checked the live page and discovered some of the text was missing. Other text was out of place.
But, back on the "WP editor," everything appears completely intact and normal...as it should be.
I have never had any more than a few spacing or line problems. If it keeps happening on all your posts it may be a problem with the theme itself. If that's the case, and I'm not sure it is, I'd consider changing the theme. But that should be a last resort.
Hey, Steven.
That thought did occur to me, but since the problem is ONLY with that one post, I tend to doubt that it's global in nature.
Thanks.
Joshua
I dont know if this may help.
I some times noticed that what I write in the back office comes up totally different when I go to my websites front it just looks all a skew. Words aren't in the right place etc.
I learned how to write out properly in the end it drove me insane though.
I now use Site-content and it just lays it out all perfectly.
Would that help do you think.
Regards ~Debs ;-)
That's just it. I do everything (originally) in Site Content. My problem is that I can never leave well enough alone (Lol). I always spot some problem later, and go back into the WP editor to correct it.
This is the ONLY item that has ever given me trouble. I think the only solution will be a "REBOOT." Delete the page and start over!
You may need to purge your site - cache. There are some plugins such as w3 total cache, that you can install, run and deactivate afterward.
If that doesn't fix it, then contact Site-Support. The SiteSpeed feature may have to be checked from the WA end.
David
Usually just a matter of clearing your browser cache and then waiting for the Search Engines to crawl ya' and catch up!
No, that didn't do it. Is there a certain amount of time that I need to wait?
By the way, not only did I clear the cache (in Chrome), but I also used three other browsers (Edge, Opera, and Firefox).
Joshua
Naw, it's always different Joshua, I've had to take up to a day sometimes! Keep poking around though it may be something different than your cache.
