Hi everyone!
It has just happened to me...
After my following one of the WA pieces of training mentioning that our blogs published in WA can be ranked on Google too,
Hi everyone!
Thank you for your beautiful support!:-)
I've tried to contact that person by PM (know his profile), but, he's not a premium WA member, so, couldn't reach him... On the other hand, I'm not happy to warn him publicly.
What would you do if were in my shoes?
Thanks again!
Vesna
I'd contact Kyle and or Carson. If he's not a premium member he could just be here to steal other members text.
If he is not a premium member then he has maybe only joined to steal as much as he can. Send the details to Kyle and then it is all in the right order.
Rob
Thanks a lot!:-) As far I can see, he has stolen other people contents too, and therefore should be reported.
Thanks again,
Vesna
Whatever you do, Vesna, you must not allow it to have any effect on you or your resolve to be successful. I am sure it won't but don't let it make you feel down in any way.
You have been the victim in this situation but this person has lost more because he has behaved in a way which he must know is wrong and been caught out. You can always create more content, he cannot!
Very best wishes, Rob
Hi Vesna, I think you should contact him and ask him if he understands the reasons why he is wrong to do what he has done.
Of course, if he does understand he may not respond but it cannot be left open. You must let him know you are aware of it. There may be other examples of it, too.
Like you, I cannot understand why he did it. I hope you sort it out soon.
Best wishes, Rob
Hi - I managed to find the site you are talking about. It's not just you, he has copied dozens of blog posts from WA members. I am sending you a PM with the URL of the home page, so you can report it to Kyle.
Agree, these blatant infractions need to be reported ... this member should be either restricted or removed from WA ... no excuse for this kind of plagiarism!
It is not allowed at WA. See this post especially no 3. Spam is a NO NO! Ask them politely to remove it and give them the link to the rules. If they do not comply report it.
I would definitely contact him and ask him to remove your text from his site. That's not right and he knows that! Let me know what he says please.
Well it's a copy right violation so I would not ask but demand to take it down. Politely but still demand.

My wa post is copy-pasted to someone's website. any idea?
Hi everyone!
It has just happened to me...
After my following one of the WA pieces of training mentioning that our blogs published in WA can be ranked on Google too,
Hi, Vesna...
This is normally a no-no. Unethical and just not the right thing to do...Unless there is more to the story...
The approach I would take on this is to confront the person who did this and ask them why they used it (purpose?)...
If they are using it as an example of what posts are like here, and it is a piece of a bigger post, and attribution is given, maybe bad rationale used, and maybe not okay, but unintentional (i.e. new)...
Here is how this can happen where it is okay...
There are instances on social platforms where I will take an interesting WA post (not my own) and using my affiliate link for that post, put it on one or more of my social business pages,
The image used from the post comes up and the person wanting to read it is taken to the Wealthy Affiliate platform where they can read the post.
This is not stealing, this is providing an interesting link for my followers...I do the same for other information that the followers will be interested in.
Your case does not sound like this, so approaching the person is the way I would start. Find out details, then take action as you deem fit, i.e. ask them to remove the post, give you attribution and a link to your page and leave it, etc.
People that do this may think they will not get caught, but as big as the internet is, it is still easy to find out when someone does it. We all know about searches, SEO, and etc. here...
Best of luck and please let us know how things go. I suspect that the problem can be solved quickly...
Cheers!
Dave : )
Hi - the person in question is simply copying and pasting member's blog posts and passing them off as his own. He is not premium, and cannot, therefore, be contacted by private message. I have reported the details to Kyle for his consideration.
You're right, Dave. My case does not sound like the one you first mentioned:) I also believe that the problem can be solved quickly.
I reported him to Kyle, not only to solve my problem but, other members, too. As far as I can see, it was not that person's first time to use other people contents as his own.
Thank you for your feedback,
Vesna
Yes, in this case, it appears that contacting support (or Kyle or Carson) will take care of it...
If the person who did it was not a member of the community, you could also contact the hosting company of the website...
That mechanism has been used in the past with success, as well as reporting to Google...
In this case, it is made easier because it is in-house...
Cheers!

It could be something as simple as local caching by your browser. Check your site using an Incognito window if you're using Chrome or a Private window in IE. Or refresh your current window showing your website by clearing cache pressing CTRL and F5 at the same time.
Thank you for y/r comment:) Your thought is correct. But, in this moment, it's not just about my seeing the Home page problematic. Other people from their Androids see this problem, too.
Thank you again!

Hi Vesna, it is always best to add screenshots, here and to Support. This makes it easier to see the problem, perhaps they did not get it.

Hi, Jovo! You're right regarding screenshots. Both supports have them. I just didn't want to make my text here even longer than it is.... Regarding cache plugin, I don't use it. Should I?
Thank you so much for your time and help:)

I feel your pain Vesna. From the moment I went premium I had switched my theme 3 times due to Theme conflicts. First 2 questions, have any plug-ins, themes or even WP been updated or installed since the problem began?
This is how I came across the second time. I started a test copy in SiteRubix I rebuilt the site piece by piece just using the design elements, Don't worry too much about adding the content of media just start with theme and try to build your button in the theme, then 1 plug-in at a time activate them and then see if the problem can be replicated. By adding each element at a time, if there is a theme or plugin conflict you should be able to narrow it down. It can be a timely way but rather than be stressed out trying a million things to make it works, try to replicate it so that when you do find the conflict issue, the fix can be with trying a different plug-in or try to create the effect you want using just your theme's default options or simply change that option to another design. It's better than trying to put the square peg in round hole right. Try that first and see what happens.
Hi Jair, thank you so much for your advice and thoughts!:) I really appreciate it. Regarding your question - the answer is positive. I have updated wp and have a feeling (not sure) that from that moment problems started. I had similar experience with my previous site (before joining WA). Bluehost support told me that the new wp version had bugs... However, they fixed the problem.
Now, I'm supposed to do "acrobatics" to make this work and function properly:)
Thank you again!
Best regards,
Vesna
Hi Vesna
I don't know if this will help, but maybe try. I also had issues over last 3days, my links were not working and I could not reply to my comments, ( hence I only replied to yours earlier).
I never installed wordpress on my laptop, just clicked update if there was one on in dashboard
Anyway I installed the latest version this morning on my laptop, restarted it, pressed update on site dashboard and all was working again, then I replied to you
hope this can help
Thank you, Morne:) I have already updated the latest version of wp on site dashboard, but, I'll check it again.
In this moment, every support and thought means lot to me:) Thanks again!

In the end Vesna K&C practically own Jaaxy and they have Site support. Fire off a request to site support for an effective fix!
Dear Michael, I've got a message from WA support and the issue is in their hands. I feel relaxed, because I'm sure in a good result.
Thank you for your time and concern:)
Do you have an ad or popup blocker turned on? It also probably won't work if you try to sign up from a touchscreen, ie. phone or tablet. I'd also suggest turning off any browser plugins, or perhaps trying different browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.
Hi! Thank you for your assistance:) I don't have an ad or popup blocker. Use my desktop for work. I could try different browsers, as you suggest....
Kind regards
OK, just speculating here (!) but is the email address you signed up with to Jaaxy also the same one as your PayPal email address? If not, it might be recognising that the PayPal email address doesn't yet have a free Jaaxy account.
Everything's fine regarding my mail address etc. I have been using Paypal account for years now, for various online purchases & without having any problem. And...I'm still waiting Jaaxy support answer...
Thank you again for your time and concern!
Hi Vesna, have you created the free account first then tried to up grade from there.
Click the red Jaaxy button on your WA home page create the free account and then hit the upgrade button on your Jaaxy dashboard. This may resolve your issue.
Hi Alex, thank you for your support. I have my free account. The problem is exactly as I explained. And...I'm waiting to see what Jaaxy support will tell me.
Have a beautiful day
Good morning,
Did you try to clean out your browser cache?
If that won't work I strongly suggest you contact Jaaxy support to resolve the matter.
Good Luck!
Stefan
Good morning,
Thank you for your such a quick assistance:) I've cleaned my browser cache recently. I also sent a message to Jaaxy support last night. I'm still waiting for their response....
So, I decided to ask our amazing community, too and get some idea:)

Due to my not being able to recieve Gravator.com confirmation link and mail (to my forwarded email address) I was adviced to remove the forwarder of the email address and ask G
What a coincidence yesterday I had this problem. So I took a break and left.
What I will do is: Leave the forwarded email and don't worry about it. Then create another webmail to continue with the Gravator.
I did exactly the same!:) Otherwise: if you try to sign in with the same mail address -Gravatar will inform you that you already use that mail address, but, when you try to login - it will inform you that you can't - because your mail has not been confirmed?!!!
Hey Vesna,
Go to: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email
Make sure you click on the New Email Forward tab, select the email forward you want to delete ... click on the Delete button, and you're done.
I wouldn't like to delete my website email, just - the forwarding. Are you sure that this Delete button deletes only forwarding?
If you do not feel comfortable with what I have suggested, please contact support explaining clearly what you want to do: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
