Hi guys,
Although i have Starter members, only 2% became premium so i was wondering if this is something that everyone sees or if i may be doing something wrong attract
Hi Kay, hope you're doing well. I wanted to check with you if you have seen an incrase in conversion rates from Free to Premium? Thanks for anything you can share.
Greg
My very first referral went Premium, that was encouraging, but only stayed one month and canceled their account. I've since received another 33 referrals over the past few months - none have up upgraded (yet). Only 25% have set up their account. A few appear to be active.
I've had 27 referrals so far and no premiums, and I have read many other people on here say they have a low conversion to premium percentage. so it seems like a low percentage is normal.
I've noticed conversion rates have dropped a lot this year, especially in the last 3 or 4 months. My rate used to be about 10%, but not anymore.
A low conversion rate is sometimes because the article they have read emphasizes the free membership.
Marion, but the free aspect is what will encourage many people to give it a try. Otherwise, people don't even try, which can make things worse. My opinion.
You might try to find some time to view the following training video replays if you haven't already seen them. Mine is around 4% - about 1 out of 20 sign-ups goes premium on my account. The average is 1 out of 12.
You are quite low, perhaps you can ask Kyle for advice.
Thank you Loes. I may ask him for advice, sometime. I know i need to improve my organic traffic as well so i may try this first and then if it continues i will def ask. 4% sounds good :)
All the best
Kay
Hi,
Mine is 3% since I started getting referrals 1.5 years ago. It never went up, and never went down. no matter what.
I tried to focus on other articles and get a more targeted audience, but then I bumped into other problems such as strong competition or short-life product reviews.
Also, I changed my WA review many many times lol
However, even with 3%, I manage to get a steady referral growth. Not fast as I wish, but it's growing, which is good.
Hi Stefan, thank you so much for your comment! Maybe that's normal now.. i just read posts from other members where they get 5-10% CR. I guess the internet is becoming more and more saturated!
All the best to you
Kay
Yeah, I think it's normal... Other affiliates claim to achieve more. But they probably rank on the first page for lots of articles attracting a more targeted traffic (online business related), which I don't.
What about affiliates who rank 1st page for "Wealthy Affiliate"? This must give them an awesome conversion rate.
My traffic comes mostly from reviews of GPT and online survey sites. I believe that's the reason. However, I get a good number of visitors so I can't complain. I still target the same type of traffic because now it's only a matter of scaling.
There is always room for improvement, you know. So, don't get discouraged because you can always grow trafficwise and make a killing even with 2%.
Thank you so much Stefan. Your comments are encouraging. I will focus on my content creation as this still needs improvement for me.
All the best

Hi there guys,
I decided instead of spending money on AdWords, to try and hire a freelancer to increase the number of posts i have on my website and see it as a long te
Ask for the links to work they have written along with references. When you evaluate their work, you should also take note of how the work ranks in Google.
Of course, this is not a substitute for you doing the work necessary to rank in Google. They could be a Pulitzer prize winning author, but if you have not done the work necessary to rank that content, then you really haven't solved your problems.
There are a lot of things you can do for free to rank your content for free. Hi,
I started using the SiteComments recently but most of the times i am not sure about which comments to keep and which to decline.
What makes a good comment? </
If I get a comment that is positive, but it is not quite what I want I edit it. If it is a negative comment, I delete it.
I am not comfortable totally changing a comment. I would rather just delete it. I still struggle with what to do when I get bad comments though. I want to know if the commenter was just lazy or is new and didn't understand what they are supposed to write. If they really don't understand then I feel like I should tell the rather than just delete a comment. Some people are clearly wanting credit for comments without putting any time into them however. This laziness where they want to get something but not give anything is irritating.
A good comment should address the topic of the post specifically and be long enough to look legitimate.Just saying something like "Great Post" is not a good comment.
Some people are much more picky than others as to what they consider good comments. Some people are ruthless and delete anything that isn't perfect, or they change it. I am not that ruthless though.
Thank you!! It happens to me too and i try to explain the reason i decline them! I think it's important to be picky because it's our hard work and our websites that are involved!
I believe sometimes what we think a "bad comment" might provoke a good discussion.
Only learn to distinguish between a comment and a feedback.:)
I keep them all and take the bad ones into a position of fixing the how & why it was bad. The good ones, I just try to improve on.
I would keep them and amend the bad ones into readable comments if they have any valid points. If not decline. Check my training on commenting it may help.
Just had a comment left for me that didn't really make sense, rather than just delete I sent the writer a private message asking them to explain the comment so
a) I can either edit to read better
b) disprove as it doesn't fit the blog.

Hi,
I have been trying to add an AdWords conversion tracking pixel in WA but it keeps saying: "Invalid Conversion code".
Google AdWords changed their p
This is completely new conversion tracking code and I will look into this. This is not the conventional conversion tracking code for PPC campaigns and is not what I am using.
Perhaps WA should state down, what are the things we are not allow to implement. That will save us a lot of times on implementing certain features and realize it is prohibited at WA platform. May be on the left, below the "Affiliate Bootcamp" menu bar.
Every platform has its own pro and con, and we just need to work along the boundaries.
Hey Kay,
I don't like sending you off of WA to find help but searching through for a tutorial on this issue ... well ... I could find nothing. So ... here's Google's advice on this issue: http://bit.ly/1qROB4F
Hope this helps you.
Hi,
Thank you for that but i think that this has something to do with WA.. Google AdWords study guides just explain how the conversion is being done but i have issues on implementing it on WA. I think i will contact Kyle in case i don't find the answer here.
Best
Kay
Good idea to contact Kyle, yes.
Simply because this is NOT a site support issue.
Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.
