How do I find out my traffic and position?
I'm using traffic travis for this, because it's auto update every day so I know my position before and after everyday... you can use the free version if you're not tracking more than 5 keywords..
If you are a member of jaaxy, you can go to site rank, type in a keyword and your url and it will tell you what page and position your in within the first 20 pages.

I've always wondered about this myself. Do quote marks around the words mean anything? I've noticed when I do a Google search outside of Jaaxy without quotes, the number of search results is different (and higher), than when I search "with quotes". Does the syntax affect it?
They are giving the same results. here is what I got for both:
Keyword tool:
If you click the link under competition, it will bring up google. it shows that there is only 1 result.
in Jaaxy-
QSR stands for the # of competing pages, which for your search it shows 0.
This keyword is actually a good one because there is no competition and the SEO Power is at 87. Also it receives 80 monthly searches.
per Kyle you want QSR to be as low as possible, SEO to be as high as possible and searches to be above 50. This is actually an excellent long-tailed keyword

As long as you embed from other sites, i.e., YouTube, etc., you are okay. What you cannot do is download someone else's video and put it up on your server and then display it. That would be a copyright violation.

It's fine as long as you give them credit and it's relevant to to your post. Also, any video content at WA is usable. You can also use your affiliate ID with content you post from WA, so if someone links to WA through it, you would get credit if they sign up. This is true even if you aren't trying to promote WA.
I add u tube videos all the time in my sites, often the affiliate tools in click bank give you videos to share on your blog
This is something I learned in marketing;
What people want is the solution to their problems, they don't care who gives them the solution as long as it solves their problem
Just add value and solve problems in your site and you will get more visitors and happy customers

SO I am a Computer Junkie, Technology in general. But mostly Computers. I am wondering what the WA members use to get on WA and to get on WP. And how does it make a difference to y
I get WA on my old iPhone 3gs and on my HP A6 laptop running Windows 8.I use a prepaid USB stick for internet.
Sounds like you are on the way to success. I always recommend to have the new computer and windows 8.1 is one of the greatest. Many have harsh feelings about it but once they realize the greatness of it then they will see the reality of the .1 upgrade.
I read most of these types of threads on my iPhone, I also have an Asus transformer tablet, but for keyword research and working on my websites I use a desktop - mac and windows.
I hope to buy a laptop next month, then that will be my main tool as I won't be sharing that with family members.
I understand, sharing is caring but for business use you need your own. I will be fixing up my website soon yo compare certain computers as well as certain aspects of tablets. I'll be sure to post it here when it is done maybe to shed some light as to what laptops and tablets that can do it for you. There are alot of choices out there
I use a lap top. Cheap laptop on windows because thats what it came with. I log in from my android just to check my emails but do all my webwork from my laptop at home.

I like the freedom so much I just got a tablet (a smartphone is hard to work on!). It was actually delivered today, Google Nexus 7 (1st edition). I'm very unsatisfied with the sharpness of the screen, my smartphone is better! Still, I guess it's still a useful tool.

I would love to get an Android powered Smartphone (to develop simple apps and get a general feel of the new technologies as well as having a tool to test and check all these responsive templates I hear about...)
I have an old laptop but have not used for years, don't like the laptop scene.
I am old fashioned about my hardware, prefer to have a big, strong box on my desk.

I use a Windows 7 PC (now around 4 years old), and a W7 laptop for 9-5.
In my 9-5 I am a programmer/intranet webmaster - and for that I have always used .Net/ASP - so my operating system (OS) has always been Windows.
I don't like the new Windows 8 environment. I think it could be good, once they take a lot of user advice on board - until then, I will stick with W7.
As a programmer, until drag and drop interfaces for programming become mainstream, I don't see myself using a tablet to program. I NEED to type CODE.
Mac or Windows - I'm a muso at heart, so Logic on the Mac is my goal - price wise though, FL Studio on the PC does me just fine.
If I had my ultimate dream, writing and programming in machine code as I did in the 80's for US Gold/Tiertex, would be brilliant for me!!!
