Hi Kerri. I use the standard WP Block called Form. That way I don't need a plugin. It works well. If you need more info, just ask.

I typed in Form in the little search bar and didn't come up with anything. I need more information lol :-)
Sorry Kerry. My mistake.
The Form block is available as part of Kadence Blocks, not as part of the standard WP blocks.
Free Kadence Blocks is a collection of useful Blocks that can be used with any theme.
Although this means adding the Kadence Blocks Plugin, it's a plugin that does not slow down your site. In general, using blocks where they exist is more efficient than using a dedicated plugin.
Using any of the Kadence Blocks is no different to using any of the standard blocks.
So if you add the Kadence Blocks plugin in the usual way, you can then use a variety of (arguably) better blocks as well as some that don't exist in the standard blocks.
I mainly use Kadence Blocks for Table of Contents, Images and Contact Form.
So, if you install the Kadence Blocks plugin, let me know and I'll help you to understand how to use the Form block. if you wish.

can you import the account via smtp to your citlink account - i do this with gmail and get emails from domain emails...

i have just tried it and cannot get it to work at the moment - but i am sure it does....
once setup you can send from the gmail and have it look like t is sent from your other account...

We have a scheduling ability in Wordpress that is supposed to publish post on the day you choose...... , but it doesn't work, I have fiddled with it for a long time, now I want something that will post when I ask it to :-)

Do you all have a recommendation for a plugin for scheduling posts?
I have had more issues with missed scheduled posts than I want to deal with anymore. It never worked right, now they are being missed all the time.

What do you all use for microphones? I don't want to spend a fortune, and I need something a non-techy can figure out how to use. There are about a bazillion to choose from. I

I use a Samson Go Mic. £31.50 from Amazon UK, You might find it even cheaper for Black Friday somewhere.
It's plug'n'play USB. I use it with an HP laptop.
It's great if you're using your laptop to create videos. It's great quality in a small package that can simply be clipped to the top of the laptop screen. See image below.
The biggest challenges with any recording, which have very little to do with the choice of microphone, are:
Clicks - normally caused by an unstable mounting or shouting into the mic.
Sibilance - a sort of hissing sound usually through poor diction or gaps between the teeth especially at the ends of words that end in "s",
Booming or echo - usually when recording in a small boxroom or similar. Try to position the laptop where you can have several metres empty space or soft furnishing behind you when recording.
Volume - compare Kyle's recording level (often pretty low) against Jay's which is usually at an excellent level. Different computers and software will have different views for this, but set the volume as high as possible without distorting.
If you need more help, just ask.

You said deleted 2 categories from my main menu which deletes it from the menu, but to actually delete the categories, you would need to go to:
Posts > Categories
And delete them from there.
Same with tags
Posts > Tags
After all that, I would go resubmit your sitemap to Google & Bing.

You said deleted 2 categories from my main menu which deletes it from the menu, but to actually delete the categories, you would need to go to:
Posts > Categories
And delete them from there.
Same with tags
Posts > Tags

Back then, I used a very simple plugin called Contact Form 7. Others might use WPForms.
