The best way I’ve found is to mimic News type instagram accounts…
Where the link in your Instagram bio directs to a PAGE on your website.
Make it 3 columns wide of IMAGES that mirrors what your Instagram looks like.
Then add the links to the specific POSTs on your website to each of the IMAGES on the PAGE you made.
This same method can be used for other social platforms “Link in bio” types like TikTok and others.
Best way I’ve found at least to accomplish what I think you’re trying to do. 😎

You’re not able to place links in Instagram posts at all, the most you can do is reference your link in bio. Where you can place links in Instagram is in your stories. From those you can direct link to any post, any affiliate link, etc., and even control the linking text as well.

what about a popup? if you have an email autoresponder like getresponse, they have popups that will apply on your page.
Hi Kerri - zI am using Aweber form (from Aweber) to get subscribers. It doesn't look like yours at all. Check it out on https://royalpalmprotection.com
I placed it on a widget sidebar.

I think the best way to get someone to give their email is to nudge them that they’re about to get something free. “Enter your email to get my quick success course FREE!” It’s quick and to the point.
The only issue with a sign up form in your sidebar is that on mobile they probably won’t see it.
Thanks I dont have a free anything yet lol, im getting my hands dirty though and trying to figure it out :-)
Hey if your ever bord and looking for something to do can you do a quick video on how to add this to a button i can add to my posts ?
the main problem now is the aweber sign up form is gigantic, humungous and other large things.
Hey Kerri,
I Google'd your issue and... VOILA... see screen print for how to size your Aweber form.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you so much, i tried and failed lol trying to resize it. I appreciate it, I'll go back and see if I missed something in this :-)
Hi Kerri
I took a look.
I don't think it's too big but it doesn't offer anything, such as a free product and gives no information on what someone would be subscribing to or for.
I also have no idea what you used to create it so cannot give any tech support.
I find that a form in the sidebar gets very little attention. For me it is best via a button in the post and/or as an exit popup.
What are you trying to achieve with this form?
;-)
Richard
Thank you, its obviously my first time :-)
Sign up to my newsletter which is also a first for me. I am following Jays series and using Aweber.
I tried in the post and it was humungus.
Thanks for taking the time, much appreciated.
OK, Kerri.
I haven't used Aweber for many years but I'll happily talk you through ideas if you get stuck.
;-)
Richard
How do you add it to a button ?
I didn't think the sidebar looked good either, I am going with my original plan of in the post, but i still cant get the dang sign up form not to be humungous and its started to annoy me lol :-)
I'll go see if there is a training on adding it to a button.
Thanks again
Unless Aweber has a way to create a landing page, the way I might do it is to create a new blank page that is not added to the site menu. Add the form to the page. Then add the URL of the page to a button, wherever you choose to place it. The words you use on the button describe the product that you are giving away. This way you can add the button to any relevant post.
;-)
Richard
hmmmm thats an idea thanks.
I did try and make it work on my site, if you have a minute tell me what you think , I made the form smaller and added a little detail. If not no worries I appreciate your time and suggestions !
just this page until i work out all the kinks lol

Hi Kerri
That is certainly an improvement and the idea is attractive. If you can include all of your"advert" on the form, or (sorry to repeat myself) add it to a separate landing page then you can create a "call to action" button that you add to every relevant post. Eric's point is equally valid. Personally I get my best results when the form is high up in the post but not showing until someone scrolls down.
;-)
Richard
a work in progress :-)
Thanks so much for your time and help :-)
I'll keep tweaking. I did try to create a landing page for it in aweber, try being the keyword there... i'll keep at it.
thanks again for all your time, suggestions and help
here is the link if you have a second to take a look and tell me what you honestly think :-) Its driving me kind of crazy lol.

Hey Kerri,
You may want to reach out to WA Support and make sure it isn't blocked somehow.
Not a typical situation but its worth a try.
Hi Kerry
I presume you are using an existing gmail.
Sometimes Sitekit needs to be set up twice...
In the Settings, their's a link top right to Admin Settings.
In Admin Settings scroll down a little and you'll see a link under Plugin Status to Reset Site Kit. Click that and follow instructions.
I've used that several times to solve problems. Please let us know how it goes.
;-)
Richard
Thanks, it seems to me anyway, when I double checked they are both set up, they just aren't connecting ...
If they're not connecting you should try resetting them as described. It has worked for me.

So I tried to create a new email here at WA in the EMAIL section.
When I clicked on it to log in, it didn't log me into that email; it logged me into the other email he
Hi Kerri.
A "problem" with web email at WA is that you can only log in to one email at a time and when you're finished it doesn't automatically log you out, so you have to remember to log out. If you don't specifically log out, the next time you go to the webmail it automatically logs you in to the one you were using last time.
Now to aweber: Like Rudy, I would use my personal email (or the same gmail that I use for google Analytics access etc) to join the aweber service.
I haven't used Aweber since about 2009 so don't remember a lot about it, and it will have changed, but I presume that you can set up one or more business emails for using with the aweber sending service. That's where your webmail accounts come in.
If you get really stuck, send me a PM.
;-)
Richard
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the mention!
I remember when Aweber first started...and yes it has changed a bit.
To use the free plan, up to 500 subscribers, you can only use on email per entry.
That means one email, one url.
If you have a couple of websites, you can create a couple of separate Aweber accounts, one for each.
For me, with 5+ websites, it was more logical to pay for the service, and motivational as well, to only use one email account to keep track of multiple websites.
As Richard mentioned, send me a PM if you need more help!
Rudy
Thanks, Richard. I appreciate your help and reply. I haven't had more than one email in WA, so I had no idea of this problem. :-( If you learn more by screwing up, I learned alot these last two days LOL.
Im going to keep at it and see if I can get it sorted, will do thanks.
When you create an email at WA, do you use the webmaster service?
When I create an email from my website, I create a forwarding email, that sends it directly to my own email.
Using Akismet, a free plugin, eliminates most of the spam I might get.
When you create the Aweber account, set it up with your personal email.
With the free version, you can only use one email address per account.
For multiple websites, you either need to create a separate Aweber for each (which means using more that one email to create the account), or bite the bullet and pay their basic rate to use multiple websites.
When you verify the website, you must also verify the email for rhat website.
Create an email, name@website dot com.
Once verified, you will be able to send out campaign messages and newsletters.
Hope that helps!
Rudy
Thanks, I tried that, kept getting a error message, then tried it again awhile later and it worked, fingers crossed. Thanks
I use AWeber, too. The site is a little quirky for newbies. It gave me a hard time for a while, but now it works fine for me all the time. What I'm saying is that I don't think the problem lies with WA.
Sometimes the Webmail caches the password and if you are trying to flip between emailboxes you can end up at the wrong one. It's not ideal.
However if Jay does it then it must work, or he wouldn't put it in his video.
Dave
aWeber doesn't allow Gmail.
You should be able to add as many emails using your domain.
Every email you create will have its own password.
Maybe ensure that you are logging in with the right email and associated password.
Hope that helps.
Ah, thanks for that tip; I did not know Aweber wouldn't allow Gmail. that would have sent me down another rabbit hole.
I copied and pasten them to make sure, still a no go.
I will try it again and see if I can get it to work .
Thanks alot
It helped alot and much appreciated :-)

Hey Tia,
It’s a solid foundation, especially if you want to focus on building a warm and approachable brand!
What I like about it: It feels personal, which can be great for building a sense of connection with readers. A name like this implies a more intimate, conversational tone, which many readers enjoy. It’s clear and straightforward, and positions the newsletter as a friendly resource. “Companion” gives it a supportive vibe, which is appealing and suggests that you’ll be there to guide readers.
What I think you need to improve: It might not be immediately clear that it’s a marketing-focused newsletter, especially to new subscribers who don’t know your brand. This can be solved with a clear tagline, but it’s something to consider if you want the name itself to convey a specific topic.
The tagline doesn’t communicate what specific value readers might gain (tips, trends, resources, etc.), so you could consider adding a bit more detail if you want it to be more explicit.
The name and tagline create an inviting, personable vibe, but a slight tweak to make the marketing focus clear in the title could give you a slight edge. IMO.
Eric
Hi Kerri
Kerri’s Corner is too generic, IMO.
It doesn’t tell readers what you are about, even though it’s in your tagline.
Most people get so many emails that they won’t open yours to figure out why they’re getting it.
On a mobile device you won’t typically see much identifying info when you scan an email list.
How can you get ChatGPT burnout? It’s so quick and easy to use. Lol 😎

Always value your opinion Frank , Thanks
You are exactly right.
ChatpGPT has been annoying lately, not following my instructions, then repeating the wrong answer over and over and over. I even tried deleting old conversations and cleaning it up. It is still giving me fits.
I actually changed it to tentative to "The Marketing Mix"
what do you think of this one :)
Keep rocking, thanks
Thanks, Kerri!
"The Marketing Mix" is much better. I'd try to make it more successful sounding.
I asked ChatGPT to give me a list. You might find a few of these interesting:

"Crack The Marketing Code"
"Skyrocket Your Marketing Skills"
"Masterful Marketing"
"Marketing Secrets Unlocked"
"Marketing Genius"
"Marketing Success, Guaranteed"
"Marketing Hacks For Success"
"Sell Like A Pro"
"Win At Marketing Today"
"Marketing Magic, Made Simple"

"No-Fail Marketing"
"Marketing Mastery, Simplified"
"Turning Marketing Into Profit"
"Effortless Marketing Results"

I hope that gives you some additional ideas. 😎
