Hi there,

My name is Miguel and I have joined this site with a view to start an Internet Online business from the ground up.

My Internet Marketing attempts so far have been unsuccessful as I keep on getting lured into various "incredible" opportunities which wind up on a BIG FAT ZERO!

Therefore, I am trying a different approach, start nice and easy towards a consolidated position eventually growing to a profitable position.

Once I achieve the profitable position, I will need to scale the operation to greater profitability.. It is all in the numbers!

My main objective is to create an alternative source of revenue, starting with modest objectives like, say generating a consistent 5 dollars a day and progressing it through to a level whereby I can dedicate myself exclusively to a full time Online business.

My approach is to be able to accomplish this with a free or minimum amount of investment.

Money Goals
Well, folks, for a starting point, I would be happy to generate $1000 monthly income within 100 days and ecstatic with generating $2000 in the same time frame, bearing in mind that at most I have 1 hour per daily available to pursue this goal.
I would be most grateful for feedback on people who have already achieved this target to let me know if my objectives are realistic.
1
Money I would be happy earning
2
Money I would be ecstatic earning
3
Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals

Really good to see that you've added some goals Miguel!

These are both realistic and achievable. Your time investment will be key to achieving these goals and you certainly are willing to invest the time :)

Take your time, take action on what you learn, and ask for help when you need it! There are many helpful folks within the Wealthy Affiliate community who have the answers you will be looking for. I personally look forward to helping out in every way I can.

Thanks for the interest I have pasted my link. http://nutritionhealthdiet.siterubix.com/ I would really like your input. One of the things that I have found difficult is creating and following a menu plan. I have purchased a software program that has cookbooks to purchase, a menu planner, and recipes. I still need to do more with this but I think it is a good start. What I really would like is a list of foods and their values, Such as calories, Carbohydrates, low salt...and which ones are best so use to keep the meal balanced so that the glucose level does not spike but so that there is enough also. Still not sure what direction I want to go with the content of my website. Thanks for your interest. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Robin.

Hi Robin,

I am not able to see any content on your site. Is the site down, please advise.
I can provide you with some first hand experiences for diabetics as I have also culinary skills (have run a coffee shop / snack bar for 5 and half years, doing some cool stuff, primarily with Portuguese homemade cooking/cuisine.

The Portuguese cuisine even though it has not got a big global projection is of very high standards rivaling with the world's top cuisines.

The Portuguese as a people take great pride in their cuisine/ homemade cooking and generally enjoy good food above all else, foregoing some luxuries to be able to afford to tantalize their palates.

There are some basic foods that are very good for diabetics such as all types of beans, which have an high fiber content coupled with little or no fat, you can check that out.

On an ideal world, a diabetic would have 4 to 6 small meals daily in order to minimize the effects of sugar spikes.

When one discusses diabetic lifestyle you should pay serious attention to Glycaemic Index of foods in general, favoring the low Glycaemic Index variety.

Basically, a healthy plate of food (diabetically speaking) should contain at least 50% of greens in it.

Proteins can make up 20 to 25% of it.

Carbohydrates can take up the remainder of it.

Use oils/fats very sparingly, if you must use oil, use extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed, I am particularly fortunate in that I live in a country where the olive oil is of an extremely high quality, in many instances the quality being far better a lot of more famous olive producing countries, we lack the marketing savvy of the Italians, I will readily admit. :)

This initial conversation has become rather lengthy, I will leave this discussion as it stands, should you feel you would wish to pursue the subject further, you can drop me a PM.
