I have been unable to verify my pinterest to my website too, so I just left it. This still sounds complicated for this tech-challenged member.
Have you used FTP before Gordi? If so its a case of download a file, then copy that into your website.
I'm more than happy to offer remote assistance if you need it.
Thank you, Boffy. All that I've done was download the code, but had no idea what to do with it. CFan I pam you later today? I am at work now.
No problem, send me a PM - I'm from the UK so we're have to organise a time where we cross-over
Feel free to PM me if you get stuck. When I verified my site the other day I had to leave it a couple of hours because I tried too many times.
Make sure you read the verification message on Pinterest just in case you come against the same error.
Ok Thanks for your help. Is it meant to be sitting under the index file?
I will leave it there for now, and PM you tomorrow if I have problems if thats ok?
Im in filezilla right now, I'm trying to find my way around. I find filezilla a bit intimidating for some reason.
On the left hand side of filezilla is your PC, the right hand side is your FTP/web server.
Download the pinterest verification file, find it in the left window (your PC) and then drag it into your web server. This will copy the file into your web server.

I know our sites are hosted by wealthy affiliate, but do they use a third party, like hostgator for example.
And my site is always up. I just have to re-design it. But as for it being up 100% of the time. Yep it is!
All siterubix.com sites plus any you bring into WA are hosting by WA. This is covered in the membership. Take care and be well.

I am trying to install a new theme for my wordpress site.
I have installed a zipped theme to my hard drive and I am trying to install it through the wordpress dashboard.</
I have a related problem. When I click on Upload theme, NOTHING happens. Please help me iftyou can
I would try doing a search from the dashboard and downloading it directly rather than from the PC- I can't see why this would necessarily work on the one hand, on the other tech is weird, right?
If your theme requires an external connection to validate the install, that can cause issues with the WA servers.
Tech support helped me with an issue of a similar nature.
Thanks for that Alex, I'll try it out.
It is amazing how something out of the square sometimes works.
Seems you have done everything correctly as far as steps. I had one not install because of corrupted files, but never any other trouble importing themes.
Wish I could help more! I looked it up, it is a paid theme, so I cannot try and see if it will upload for me w/out paying, of course.
Thanks Terea, I am sending off support tickets now.
I have been at it for 4 hours, still cant work it out.
I bet it is an easy fix, thanks for trying to help.
