Hello WAers,
I am busy working on an health related site and whilst refreshing one of my pages I was confronted with:
The site I am working on has not had much traffic yet to get comments so that is not the issue, I may have some virus on my computer that could have hijacked my site, need to check all avenues.
Thank you for the concern though.
So what Tommy is saying then is that WA is hacking your site? I can't see this some how, but let us know how you get on.
Sorry Tommy, this is what I read " I have had about 5 comments with Viagra links end up in my spam just in the last few days...but none on my page, and I am WA hosted. :))" Have i got it wrong? If so my apologies.
I have had about 5 comments with Viagra links end up in my spam just in the last few days...but none on my page, and I am WA hosted. :))
I hope you find the answers you need to correct this. I would go with WA hosting to make sure it doesn't happen again. Could be worse next time. Blessings to you my friend.
Phyllis
Apparently your hosting company is high jacking your site for there purposes and benefit. Because if you do not have an open sign up on your site they are the only ones that can access it besides you.
Good luck
Tommy.

I hope you can find someone to help you....i am not a legal professional...but i think you have covered everything well. It is difficult to be vague and yet detailed in these type of pages. Enjoy your weekend...sunshiny smiles from Amanda

Hello fine people of WA,
Yesterday evening I had the "brilliant" idea to implement a FAVICON on my site and unfortunately things went horribly wrong.
The end result
Hello Kat,
That is the very first thing I did but the damage was done.
I will just rebuild it, got no choice and no, I do not host my websites at Wealthy Affiliate.
Did you try a different browser?
Would you mind sharing the URL to your site so you can be sure that is what shows up to the public? Let others try it.
It looks like you have put a file in the root directory of your website and this has been done wrong, it will now cause the site to break as it is the root directory and will more than likely cause a type of data base error
Get in touch with tech support who will go into you root directory and remove this file
Barry
Hi Barry,
Thank you for your suggestion on raising the support ticket.
What can I say, I had a full on "Murphy" moment LOL
Kind Regards,
Miguel
I wish I could help, Miguel. I think I would have had a heart attack had I seen that gibberish on my site! I'm with Kathy and a support ticket. If you have a back-up, like Loes said, I would see if that would load, too. Good Luck. I'm sure someone here knows how to right this.
I'm not sure how to fix this either, besides putting in a Support ticket here....usually I've had problems the other way around and not been able to login, but able to see it otherwise...or sometimes neither, lol.
I'm sure they'll get it fixed, but it may take a bit. Hang in there and let us know how it goes...hopefully, you made a backup before doing anything with the Favicon...but, if not, I do believe WA makes a backup too just might not have your most recent changes.
Hope they get it sorted for you soon! Best wishes :) -Sherry
Have you put a support ticket in, that would be my first step, after having a major panic! Sorry I can't be of more help. :)

Hi folks,
It is weekend, time to get some work done!
I am left wondering how the keyword tool gets the "Searches" and the "Traffic" results (Wealthy Affiliate Keywor
I'm glad you asked that question. I was wondering that too. Looks like Jude has the answer.
I read in one of the discussion threads a reply by Kyle where he explained that WA keyword search is client driven based on your location, whereas Jaaxy is based on server driven, server location,
I assume that the WA keyword tool uses a different algorithm than Jaaxy, the latter being more accurate and faster.
Common sense would dictate that when Kyle and Carson decided to create Jaaxy, they would have wanted to improve upon the WA keyword functionality and algorithm, which is evident after using and comparing the two. ~Jude
Hello Jude and thank you for the explanation.
Taking what you said and if I understand it correctly, on the WA Keyword tool the query is run on the user's machine (Client side) whereas Jaaxy has a dedicated server to run the queries and serve them to its clients (users).
I know that I am ambitious on my query but I would love to get more detail on the query to extract this data.
Anyway, will have to dig some to get there.
BTW, your reply was very informative and I thank you for it.
Have a nice Sunday.
Miguel
Best to ask Kyle or Carson. I'm repeating what I recall reading in discussions. Yep, more digging! ~Jude
I use the WA keyword just to get the lower values and then I search them on Jaaxy and pick the ones that give the green circle, I sometimes use the yellow as well.
I only have one search left on Jaaxy though for my free trial....not sure when I can upgrade, a bit tight right now. Jaaxy integrates them into your website search and I believe the WA is just more for a reference too so you can be prepared to use Jaaxy resourcefully. :))
Hello Kim,
I am quite happy to use the WA Keyword Tool but I also like to know more what happens behind the scenes.
I also have checked the tool that Bazboy graciously shared with us however it did not quite resonate with the way I do things.
The other keyword tools in the market place are ridiculously expensive.
Miguel
Well Miguel, you may want to revisit the training here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-affiliate-bootcamp-content-keywords-and-conversions/google-instant-a-day-of-selling
And then submit any questions you have on the discussion board to get a better feedback. :))
I am only using this tool, so I am interesting in all answers given in this thread. I have tagged it:) Thanks for asking Miguel
Shawn just posted this Lesson a couple of days ago.

Hello Phil,
Thank you for mentioning Shawn's article, André (Apache1) had already referred to it below.
I have checked Shawn's training however it does not address the issue I am asking for.
I have already posted the query to Shawn on his article; God willing he will be able to provide me with a bit more "meat" on the subject.
In essence, I am trying to find out how the "Searches" and the "Traffic" data are extracted from the search engines.
I understand the information that the Keyword Tool provides fairly well, I just want to go deeper.
Kind Regards,
Miguel
Miguel, I'm sorry I didn't read every reply to your question. I guess I didn't understand your question either. 8^/
Please disregard anything I say. That's been my wife's policy and it's worked for her for over for over forty years. It works for me as well. 8^)
LOL,
No harm done, mate!
It is an interest of mine to find out how that particular data is extracted from
the search engines.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend,
Miguel
I don't know about the one here but Jaaxy pulls from a combination of Google, Bing and Yahoo. Maybe more, not sure. Since our founders built both and Jaaxy is a great improvement upon the one here, maybe it does too. I know that it pulls from Google just not sure about the others.
Dear Glenda,
Thank you for the suggestion, will need to check for more solutions to this issue.
Have a nice weekend,
Miguel
