I was wondering if I should be using something else now that Google+ is gone.
I agree Linkedin works and Pinterest works too. I've made a few sells from there. Plus you can add direct affiliate links on Pinterest.
The only thing is Pinterest is a learning curve. One that I am still learning myself.
I wish there was another platform like Google+.
I don't like Facebook but, I post there periodically.
I normally use Linkedin, Pinterest, Mix (which according to my GA I get traffic referrals from) and I use Twitter.
I so wish there was - I can't stand Facebook.
I had high hopes for G+ but that platform was just too cumbersome to be "social".
The idea of another social network sounds appealing however, and I may be too pessimistic here, I feel a data mining/exploitation precedent has been set and any new social network will eventually evolve into another Facebook.
I would like to be wrong about this! :-)
I don't miss Google+ because wasn't much it to it before, I'm using social media like Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook group, Twitter.
Jacqueline
I was never a fan of Google+. I'm using Facebook (page), Instagram, and Twitter. I've signed up to use Pinterest, but I don't quite understand that platform yet.
Just the usual ones.

Google apparently has no plans to replace Google+ with anything else, at least not anytime soon. When asked a similar question in one of his recent live webinars, Jay Neill noted that YouTube has recently added a social element to the platform and as YouTube is owned by Google you would be maintaining that connection. That does, of course, mean you would have to set up a YouTube channel if you don't have one already.

Yes, I have a youtube channel I guess I will be setting up more products there.
Thank you,

How do I switch a post to a page in word press?
Hey Jesus,
Here's a video to show you how to do this easy peasy: Change Post to Page or Page to Post Hope you find this helpful.
Since there are only 2 posts you need to switch to page, just copy and paste the whole thing and delete the older posts. If you have many of them, a plugin called post switcher will make the task handy.
Joe
I guess you might copy the whole of the post onto a page. Then delete the post? Just guessing. Tracy
Here is a training on this subject How To Change Pages To Posts and Vice Versa - Quick & Easy Enjoy your Saturday.

Add a new age on your wordpress site cut and paste the about me from your post and make sure you delete the post otherwise it will be duplicate content
You need a plugin for this.
Go to your WordPress site, go to plugin's add new. Type in the search bar, post type switcher. install it and activate it. then use it. The actual place it will be is over to the right of your page, it will ask which way you want to switch. You can deactivate it once you are done with it. Too many plugins slow down your website.
Hope this helps
Regards
Janet
Hey Jesus,
I would suggest that you copy and paste the material and republish then after the new page is viewed then delete the old post for the about me post.
As for the privacy post just delete it and redo from the template in site content and publish as a page (that will only take a minute or two to redo), it may take longer but it is the safest way to do it.
Their is a plug in you can use, but if you use make your changes are completed, then delete it after you are done.
I lost a page when I changed themes because the new theme did not support the plugin so from now on I make those changes manually.
Hope this helps,
Calvin
