I am 66 years old enjoying retirement and actually doing things I wished I could when working. Skydiving was a recent memorable birthday present. A first grandchild, Matilda, has come along. She has taught me many things.
I adore curling up in the sun with a good read. As Grouch Marx famously said,
“A dog is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.”
My most recent at the formerly impossible is starting a blog on Mindfulness. Practicing has made a big difference to my life. Mindfulness has proved invaluable during a bout of cancer and several episodes of depression. My blog is laying out my personal account and experiences as well as suggesting ways that ordinary people can engage with mindful techniques and meditation. I am interested in your stories, too. Shared experience is my reason for writing. You can find out more on Facebook at Mindfulness Way to Happiness at https://www.tracyfryer.com.I am a retired teacher enjoying retirement in Scotland. I practice Mindfulness and engage in numerous MOOCs.
I wrote the bit above when I joined all at sea with this blogging business.
Now I love it. It is a game of hide and seek and trying new plugins and making your site look and feel better.
