Hi Members
I always appreciate your feedback. My files are in file manager waiting to be uploaded. Do I have to open up each file individually and upload up each file
Hey Richard,
In reading over your previously received comments, it sounds though you now have no cPanel access to your new hosting provider... a provider that is NOT Wealthy Affiliate.
However, if you DO have cPanel access, then you need to reach out to your hosting provider for assistance in finding their tutorials to help you do whatever it is that you need to do on their server, as their support will provide you with accurate information.
Either way, we can only guess, and guessing might not provide you the best quality of information.
Hope you find this helpful.
You right Tibula - Site ground has done away with the c-panel. They have a migratory plug in which I have to download onto my wordpress website. I do like what they got to offer
I will get it sorted.
Thanks Richard
Their support staff will still be able to direct you to their tutorials on using the plugin they have installed / suggested.
What is siteground? when I do a search in Google it tells me Siteground is another hosting service.
Yes George, siteground is another hosting service among other things. I don't know why Rich is using Siteground. I'm sure he has a reason.
:-)
Richard
Sorry Rich
I don't understand your question...
Your question states: "How do I upload files to file manager in site ground?"
Then you say: "My files are in file manager waiting to be uploaded".
Perhaps you should clarify a little please.
:-)
Richard
I forgot to upload the image. The file is ready to be uploaded I don’t know how? Do I need a plug-in for this ?
Thanks
OK ... I can see its not the WP Filemanager plugin? So I presume it comes with siteground? This might help...

Hello members
Has anyone used siteground hosting ? I have registered the domain and pointed the settings to Site Ground. I think it has to propagate first before you ca
As a member here, you should be using the hosting here at WA as it is far superior to what you will get within any budget host out there.
The Managed Wordpress hosting you have access to here at WA is matched by very few hosts in the industry in terms of quality, security, speed, and support. It definitely is not a budget host like the other shared hosting companies out there. The hosting you get here at WA is comparable to $250 per MONTH hosting packages.
You can learn more about it here:
http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/hosting/
You can host up to 10 websites on your own domain as a premium member.
HI
Siteground hosting is great for the first year, however it gets expensive second year onwards.
Technical support is top-notch.
That's with shared hosting, it get more expensive if you want to upgrade to cloud hosting for example.
Here you can host up to 10 domains (mix of siterubix subdomains and premium however totalling 10)
Site support is very resonsive.

Hope this helps.
Thank you for your response but I still did not get a response to my question.
I want to move my site to Site Ground from Wealthy Affiliate
Thanks

Hi Members
Is anyone familiar with Siteground Hosting ? I recently registered my domain with NameCheap and want to point it to Site Ground.
Siteground responded
Sounds like you need to point your DNS to siteground's servers, then add that domain to your siteground account. Find out what your nameservers are with SiteGround, then use Namecheaps guide to change your DNS. https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/767/10/how-to-change-dns-for-a-domain/
Thanks for that - its all a learning curve. I have pointed the DNS Siteground servers when I opened the website this is what it looked like

How to point my domain to a 'Coming soon' page?
To point your domain name to a “Coming soon” page, create a file called index.html in the document root folder of your website and add the following lines inside:
<html> <body>
Coming Soon!
</body></html>
I haven't got a clue what to do next .. all help appreciated
Richard
Also bear in mind that Sitegrounds support is not as it used to be, I was going to transfer my sites there, but their support and restrictions on number of sites has changed dramatically from the initial offering they say you will get
Not sure you are aware, you can host up to 10 websites here at WA, as that is included with your premium membership. And if you grandfathered into the price before the raise of membership fees, you even can host up to 25 websites here.
Hi Richard,
Are you hosting yor website at Siteground?
You can create new website, and normally it will give you information on how to point your domain to their name server or IP if you use email servive somewhere ele. It is in your dashboar, create new site, and look to the site tools
If you have created already website with temporary domain, you need to change the name folder before you point the domain.you can do this at dashboard, site tools and choose website.
Hope this help
