Why Dinner?
My intermittent Fasting Update
So, before I was doing intermittent fasting and it was working out pretty well. But I have learned that we have been programmed from childhood to eat 3 meals a day, and this is supposed to be healthy and safe for us.
I mean I remember there was a time that I began eating 6 small meals a day to supposedly keep my metabolism revved up and burn fat all day long. Then, there was the endless diets that I have tried everything from Atkins to high carbs to very low calorie consumption.
We are talking years of up and down with my weight and none of it worked. Wait!, I will shall rephrase that, some actually did work and I did lose some weight but the problem was that I was not living in a controlled bubble I was living my life.
Yes, a controlled bubble run by the best scientist who's main goal was to ensure my weight loss. And this also is a scam, weight loss is not fat loss. Weight has to do with losing water weight and muscle weight and everything else that makes up the human body. Fat loss is losing actual body fat from the body.
Diet and exercise are great for staying healthy but have nothing to do with your body losing body fat. Losing body fat has to do with what state your body is currently in, not what you are currently eating!
Now, not to go into a lot of technical and human anatomy here, basically when you are fasting the body switches over to burning fat and when you are eating the body is using all the energy from the food and storing what is not used into the fat cells. So, fasting switches the body into fat burning and this is a great thing for all of us.
To recap, when you are fasting your burning fat and when you are eating your using the food you just ate. These are the 2 states that the body is in when it comes to food. And when you are only eating 1 meal a day you're eating fewer calories and getting many great health benefits.
So, now I am fasting for 20 hours which means I don't eat breakfast or lunch and eat for a 4-hour window and let me tell you I feel so much better. I continue to do my strength training and cardio 5 days a week and just stay hydrated.
I am losing weight and have better clarity in my life. It really does work out because now I don't really get hungry until 5 or 6pm.
Research the one meal a day online and see for yourselves the many health benefits associated with fasting it is a great way of life that has been used for thousands of years to prolong one's life and live life healthier.
Eat less and enjoy more!

Apparently it is much healthier to nibble little and often. my grand mother was great at this. However finding the right balance can be tricky and often people just end up eating loads all the time. Thank you for sharing.
Sounds like a good plan for an ongoing healthy lifestyle & longevity! ... better to eat less to feel better ... thanks kindly for sharing... :)

I'm also doing intermittent fasting (most days). My window is a bit longer. I eat from 1:00 to 7:00. I like it but I still have to be careful that I don't overeat during those hours. I have lost some weight.
